Phenomenal experience!

Our stay was lovely. Mme Lefebure was an exceptional host. Very welcoming and accommodating, and gave us lots of information about the area, including maps and restaurant suggestions. Her English was very good, and she was kind and forgiving of my broken French. The Gite is better than pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful to sit on the patio and drink morning tea amidst the flowers, surrounded by farm life. We especially loved riding the very nice electric bikes around the farm and into town. Recommended 100%. We hope to return!

Le gîte est magnifique avec une belle vue et pourtant proche des sites de Guise. Blandine était très gentile. Elle nous a donné des conseils intéressants pour la région. Nous avons été autorisés à emprunter des vélos électriques chez elle. Le gîte est bien équipé et dispose d’une belle terrasse extérieure.

Merveilleux moment à la ferme

Mon mari et moi avons passé de merveilleux moments à la ferme. Le gîte était propre, confortable, spacieux et disposait de toutes les commodités nécessaires. Les hôtes se sont mis en quatre pour rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Hautement recommandé!

Ik werd hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenares. Het huisje is voor z’n tweeën ruim en het terras ligt aan een eigen weg met mooi uitzicht op de omgeving. We hebben genoten van de rust en waren verrast wat de omgeving allemaal te bieden heeft.

Très agréable séjour au calme

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour chez Blandine. Gîte très propre, intérieur et extérieur très agréables. Nous avons réappris à écouter les oiseaux, et avons profité des vélos mis à disposition. Très bien placé pour visiter le Familistère (visite à ne pas manquer), Laon, les Églises fortifiées… Nous recommandons sans hésitation. Hôte très accueillante et disponible.

Parfait !

Je suis resté deux semaines à la ferme. J'y suis venu pour écrire au calme. Mon séjour a été parfait, en tous points. Les propriétaires sont adorables. L'appartement mis à disposition est propre et agréable. L'endroit est calme, avec un sentier à proximité et un lac. Idéaux pour se balader et se changer les idées ! Le centre-ville de Guise et son Familistère sont à 3 minutes en voiture. Je recommande, bien sûr !

Un séjour très agréable et un cadre reposant

La propriété est très belle, en pleine campagne mais à quelques minutes du centre ville ce qui est très pratique. Nous avons apprécié nous promener dans l’exploitation au milieu des champs de blé, de betteraves sucrière et de maïs et y croiser des animaux. Blandine a pris le temps de nous conseiller et a eu la gentillesse de nous proposer de rester plus longtemps le jour de notre départ. La maison bien équipée. La terrasse est agréable, dommage que les insectes nous aient empêché d’en profiter pleinement (apiphobie) ! La literie est confortable. Ideal pour un séjour au calme, loin de la ville!

Relaxing stay in chic gite

We had a very pleasant stay in Blandine’s well appointed gite. She welcomed us warmly, with a guided tour, information pack relating to accommodation, maps and guides for local walks and points of interest. She was nearby in case of queries, too. Guise is a small town, and can be reached on foot, for supermarket, bakery, cafes etc. There are many lovely walks nearby and wide country views.

A special opportunity to enjoy a historic farm and community with the comforts of home.

We were very Comfortable in this fresh renovation of stone farm buildings. The photos do not do this property justice. All is arranged with care and well supplied. The farmyard is substantial and handsome. Warm, welcoming host very able to inform visitors of intriguing sites in the region as well as offering bikes, canoe etc.

Lovely house and wonderful surroundings!

Blandine was very kind and helpfull, she is a really great host. The house was lovely to stay in and had enough room for the two of us. The private terrace was also very nice, it was really quiet and we enjoyed the beautiful view and nature. We also slept very well in the wonderful bed. We had a great stay and recommend it very much! We'd love to visit again.
