Little sister of the cottage: "Chez Paulette" (Ref: HDRF10428476), this farm is ideally located at the gates of Périgord Noir and close to the main sites such as: Sarlat, Lascaux, the Vézère valley, the Dordogne valley, Périgueux and Brantôme. You can also indulge in many leisure activities such as: canoeing, tree climbing, horse riding, visiting numerous castles, caves, museums and even exploring long-distance hiking trails. Quiet, this old 18th century house, despite a complete renovation, has lost none of its charm and authenticity. With all the modern comforts such as heated floor (in winter), a bathroom WC per room, new bedding (160 on the upper floor, 140 and 90 on the ground floor), its large stone fireplace, its home cinema, equipped kitchen. You will feel the very cozy atmosphere of the place. In the summer, you will enjoy its private swimming pool (heated from 05/18/2024 to 09/28/2024 and on request for a contribution) and its large wooden terrace, don't forget your towels. For walkers, it will be possible to stroll on the property surrounding us or even look for mushrooms in season in our woods.

Charming French Gite

We have just returned from this delightful and well equipped gite in a beautiful rural part of France. Dominique and Veronique are very welcoming and we had a much needed relaxing holiday. A truly lovely property which was perfect for our family holiday. There is plenty of space for our family with teens having their own bathrooms and bedrooms. Comfortable beds with excellent linens, extra towels and thoughtful finishing touches.Kitchen was well equipped and lounge cosy but spacious.The swimming pool was great alongside an excellent seating area.Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly with a great knowledge of the area and what to see. Pleasant and well equipped. Very peaceful. Hosts were very helpful and friendly, and spoke good English. Had to ring them to show us the way on arrival, but no problem at all. They live in the big house next door. Their german shepherd dog was an extremely friendly and gentle dog. Kept coming over for a cuddle, but only if we left the gate open.The beds were not very good, and could have had thicker mattresses to be more comfortable. The pool was fine. Able to stand in it anywhere. Overall, not a bad choice.

Wunderbarer Urlaub auf dem Land

Wir, 3 Generationen, verbrachten wunderbare, ruhige Tage in dem Ferienhaus in der Natur. Die Gastgeber sind sehr großzügig und hilfsbereit mit super Tipps für die nähere Umgebung, die reich an Sehenswürdigkeiten ist. Leider war das Wetter bescheiden, so dass die Kinder den Pool kaum nutzen konnten. Ein Auto ist erforderlich.
