Cozy, charming cottage surrounded by stunning landscape!

This was the perfect spot for a tranquil retreat from city life. Paolo was wonderful and kind and gave many helpful suggestions for exploring nearby villages and helped make reservations for what turned out to be our favorite meals in Emilia Romagna. We enjoyed the peace of our isolation but also enjoyed a few days trips to Bologna, Modena and Parma which was a 1-2 hour drive. We would love to come back!

Casa spettacolare

Annuncio capitato per caso, siamo stato fortunati a scegliere questa location, i padroni di casa sono bravissimi e disponibili, la casa è meravigliosa anche se per arrivarci è un po' impegnativo soprattutto se le macchine sono basse, a parte questo, non possiamo che complimentarci con gli host per la casa, gli arredi e tutto il contorno. Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property and it worked perfectly for our group of nine. We did day trips and it was great to come back to this peaceful property. Our hosts we wonderful and it was a simple process. Thank you from all of us !

Erhohlung pur in traumhafter Alleinlage

Super Haus in landschaftlich sehr schöner Alleinlage. Ideal zum Erholen und ausspannen. Liegt etwas abseits und die Zufahrt ist für tiefliegende Fahrzeuge nicht geeignet. Die Vermieter Paolo und Federica sind sehr hilfsbereit und flexibel. Wir haben mit der gesamten Familie (10 Personen) eine wunderbare Woche im Ca' di Rosi verbracht.

Hidden Gem in the Woods

We had an amazing stay at Federica and Paolo's stone house. While the pictures are nice on the site, they really do not do justice to how beautiful their house and land is. We were looking for peace and quiet and we found it! The land is approximately 5 acres. It can be a bit steep getting to the site, but it's worth it. Once you see the stone house, it is everything you think an old Italian stone farm house would be. Paolo met us in the village and then we followed him about 5 minutes through the hills. He and Federica were very communicative about any questions we had and made sure to check-in during our stay. The place was clean and stocked with all the items you would need. Only thing missing was ice cube trays :) for G and T's on the patio. It was extremely quiet and the view was beyond compare. We would definitely come back!

se cerchi di staccare dal mondo è il posto giusto

la casa è meravigliosa , curatissima in ogni dettaglio , a mio personale parere è un posto dove staccare dal mondo , anche perchè la casa è totalmente immersa nel bosco , la casa di per se è da "visitare" nel senso che ogni angolo trasmette un messaggio, ho apprezzato particolarmente la lettura di alcuni libri presenti nella casa che riportano alla storia dei luoghi intorno a Montefiorino . Casa pulitissima e dotato di tutto ciò che si può richiedere per un contesto simile , giusta la decisione di non prevedere la tv sarebbe una distrazione insensata .

A gem of a place

We loved our stay here. The place was magical - the peace and quiet was wonderful. The cottage was beautifully restored and having everything we needed. We sat out each each day on the terrace - amazing view and even saw the deer passing by!

Wir haben mit 7 Erwachsenen zwei schöne Wochen in großartiger Umgebung verbracht. Das Haus, die Einrichtung, die Terrasse, der Garten alles in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Beschreibung mit den Bildern wird durch die Realität überboten. Trotz Hochsaison gab es kaum Touristen und daher liegen die Preise im Supermarkt, den Restaurant und Bars auf dem Niveau wie vor 20 Jahren. Die ruhige Lage bringt aber das Dilemma mit sich, dass der nächste Ort 4 km und 200 Höhenmeter entfernt ist, d.h. Auto fahren. Die Einsamkeit hat uns gut getan und wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Unsere Gastgeber habe uns bestens betreut. Die Kommunikation kann problemlos in Englisch geführt werden. Bologna und Modena sind in einer Stunde zu erreichen und einen Besuch wert. Wer Ruhe und Abstand sucht, auf das Budget achtet und die Abgeschiedenheit liebt, sollte dort Ferien machen. Wie bedanken uns bei den Gastgebern und wünschen allen, die nach uns dorthin fahren einen ebensolchen schönen Urlaub.

Un tesoro nascosto tra le montagne d’Appennino

La Ca’ di Rosi si trova a pieno nella natura dell’Emilia-Romagna. Mia moglie ed io, il nostro figlio con la sua ragazza, siamo stato qui cinque giorni a finale di maggio ed abbiamo goduto di tutto: i dintorni della casa, l’interiore della casa, la favolosa cucina dove abbiamo preparato bei piatti con ingredienti dei paesi vicini, i paesaggi meravigliosi dalla terrazza della casa, le passeggiate al torrente Dragone, i paesi vicini, qualche serrate davanti al camino,... Tutto nella casa è perfetto, è un posto molto accogliente e piacevole, vogliamo tornare presto e ricomandiamo la casa a tutti. I proprietari sono molto gentili ed aiutano con consigli e buoni indirizzi per fare la spesa e per mangiare piatti tipici.

ritrovato uni spazio d'incontro

Ci siamo trovati a vivere insieme, 11 persone tra adulti e bambini, per 3 giorni, dopo tanti anni in cui i nostri incontri di famiglia si concludevano nel giro di alcune ore a causa dei luoghi di abitazione.La serenità in cui abbiamo vissuto è stata resa possibile anche dalla casa che ci ha accolto, ai servizi che ci ha offerto, tutto curato e pulito; non abbiamo sentito il bisogno di ristoranti o intrattenimenti differenti da quelli che potevamo trovare lì. venite sicuramente se vi piace stare a contatto stretto con la natura Roberta

La pace ritrovata

Pace, natura, fuga...una delle rare volte in cui quello che speravo di trovare è stato meno ambizioso della realtà! La casa è un rustico su tre piani accuratamente ristrutturato. Le finiture si integrano perfettamente con lo stile rurale della villa. Tutto funziona alla perfezione: camino, cucina, lavatrice/lavapiatti, bagni, acqua calda e riscaldamento. Molto apprezzata la caldaia a legna! L'esterno è mozzafiato. Non si vede praticamente nulla di umanizzato, ma in soli 3 minuti di macchina si raggiunge il paese di Costrignano. Il parco è estremamente ben fruibile, perfetto per i bambini. Una casetta sull'albero, costruita nel boschetto a ridosso, completa l'avventura in famiglia. Un raro idillio bucolico perfetto per fughe rigneranti o per avventure con i bimbi. Siamo stati molto bene.

Meravigliosa Casa

Wundervolles Haus in sehr schöner Landschaft, absolut ruhig gelegen. Sehr ordentlich und sauber gehalten. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, jedoch nicht sehr groß. Großzügige Zimmer mit vielen stilvollen Details, romantischer Kamin, effektive Heizung mit Holzbefeuerung, Sitzmöglichkeit draußen auch mit großem Sonnenschirm, Wander/Spaziermöglichkeit ab dem Haus, Blick auf die Rocca von Montefiorino und vor allem eine sehr freundliche und kompetente Betreuung. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Rafael

Un'oasi!!!!

La casa ti accoglie e ti coccola come "promesso" dalle foto, gli spazi sono adeguati, tutto è curato nei minimi particolari, la pulizia è impeccabile e la cucina è attrezzata anche per un numero alto di persone. La casa è isolata nel verde ma è possibile fare numerose escursioni turistiche nella zona. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Sicuramente il posto è eccezionale per chi avesse dei bambini, possono stare all'aperto senza alcun pericolo. Ultima nota la gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari.

Ca' di Rosi

Ca' di Rosi è la casa che abbiamo sempre sognato, nel cuore del nostro appennino. La casa ha un arredamento funzionale che non contrasta mai con lo stile rustico delle pareti in sasso e i caldi pavimenti in legno. La cucina è egregiamente accessoriata, le camere accoglienti (materassi e reti perfetti), i bagni essenziali ma quel che conta di più è che tutto è pefettamente pulito!! Il romantico camino della sala ci tiente compagnia mentre una moderna stufa a legna, in un locale esterno, riscalda i termosifoni, presenti in ogni stanza, e l'acqua calda sempre disponibile. Sia le dimensioni e la struttura della casa che l'arredamento messo a disposizione (tavoli, sedie, divani...) sono ideali per ospitare comodamente dodici persone. Anche l'esterno è curato nei minimi dettagli: sono disponibili tavoli, sedie, lettini e una griglia per potere pranzare all'aria aperta immersi nella natura. Il paesaggio circostante è una favola, ed è proprio in una favola che hanno vissuto i nostri ragazzi durante il breve soggiorno a Ca' di Rosi. Ringraziamo i gentilissimi proprietari che, con grande sforzo, ci hanno permesso questa vacanza all'insegna del silenzio e della natura. Ci auguriamo di poter ripetere quanto prima questa espserienza che consigliamo caldamente.

Une belle maison isolée, non loin de Costrignano

Un séjour d'une semaine à cinq, en Emilie. La maison est très agréable, bien rénovée, dans un esprit associant confort et simplicité. Trois grandes chambres avec lit double et 2 autres au 2ème étage avec lits individuels (préférentiellement pour des enfants). Globalement, on ne manque de rien, tout fonctionne. Néanmoins la salle de bains du rez de chaussée a une belle baignoire très arte povera, sans tuyau de raccordement (si les 2 salles de bain existent bien, on est quand même obligé d'aller se doucher au 1er étage !). La nature nous environne sans que l'on soit très éloigné du village de Costrignano (halte quotidienne à la Cooperativa, le petit bar : accueil toujours charmant et attentif). Alternance d'excursions en ville (Modène, Bologne) et à la montagne (chemin des crètes, Monte Cimone), détente à la piscine de Palagano. On aurait aimé revoir la belle ville de Ferrare, rendre hommage à Luciano Pavarotti mais une semaine passe bien vite si l'on veut aussi se poser et marcher.

A hidden gem

Don't expect to just nip out for a loaf of bread - this is a very rural property. A beautiful and thoughtful renovation, full of little delights and charming decorative touches. The garden and views are lovely and the location tranquil. Perfect for those who just need to escape for a while. Paolo, Federica and Marcella made us feel more like friends than paying customers. In fact, everyone was very welcoming. By the end of a week even the man in the local supermarket was practically family. Thanks for a great stay.

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjour dans cette région merveilleuse. Même si le temps n'était pas très beau, nous avons passé d'excellente vacances. Le logement est vaste, bien aménagé et agréable, le paysage est superbe. Un séjour au printemps nous a permis de profiter de la végétation très variée, en particulier en ce qui concerne les fleurs. La faune était également au rendez-vous et chaque journée nous a réservée une rencontre intéressante (chevreuil, cerf, sanglier, crapaud, lézard, insectes en tout genre...). Ce gîte à l'écart est particulièrement à recommander aux amateurs de nature et de tranquilité. Un conseil : n'oubliez pas vos chaussures de randonnées.

Natura...

Dimora molto carina, immersa nel bosco, arredata con stile e curata nei minimi dettagli.Il salone dispone di un camino affascinante e la cucina ha tutto il necessario per cucinare qualsiasi cosa, noi abbiamo fatto anche pizze e focacce e gare alla masterchef. Le camere sono ben arredate anche loro anche se qualche armadio in piu' non sarebbe guastato. Dispone di due bagni ma uno soltanto ha la doccia, l'altro aveva una vasca al momento non collegata,comunque in 12 ci siamo organizzati per poter farcela bastare. Dispone di una moderna stufa a legna che riscalda egregiamente tutta la casa attraverso i termosifoni,anche l'acqua calda e' sempre garantita. Un carico completo di legna dura anche 8 ore,tutta la notte. Per noi e' stato molto divertente andare a prendere la legna in legnaia ,portarla nel locale caldaia e approvvigionare il fuoco,azioni che in una città non sono certo la consuetudine. Il proprietario Paolo e' molto meticoloso e ci ha spiegato tutto nei minimi dettagli. Siamo stati accolti inoltre con una gustosissima torta di benvenuto. L'accesso al casolare e' garantito da una strada sterrata abbastanza strettina e ripida da fare attenzione specialmente con la nebbia,molto spesso presente. Unica nota sulla dimora: è dotata di interruttori delle luci molto belli (con un forte richiamo al passato) ma poco funzionali in quanto delicatissimi...purtroppo ne abbiamo rotto uno e ci sono stati detratti 50€ dalla cauzione come precedentemente informati. Vacanza comunque nel complesso piacevole e all'insegna della natura.

The whole experienced surpassed the well described advert, our expectations were met and exceeded. The property is superbly presented,exceptionally clean and tidy, well appointed and very tastefully decorated. The house is set in a beautiful scenic location that provides breathtaking views. The handover arrangements worked well with care and consideration given to our needs - the welcome drinks were exceptional! Thank you so much for this great value for money, high quality package that delivered for us both a user friendly environment in a romantic setting with absolute attention to detail.

Augustus 2013 - Wij hebben twee fantastische weken doorgebracht in dit geweldig huis. Een echte aanrader. Een groot huis, met smaak ingericht, in de natuur en ver van alle drukte. Ontvangst was meer dan vriendelijk, nu nog Italiaans leren.

Superbe ancienne maison , totalement rénovée dans le style d'origine avec énormément de gout. Tout le confort est là . La tranquillité est totale, le chant des oiseaux vous réveillera le matin . Endroit idéal pour se reposer. Seul bémol l'accès à la maison par un chemin un peu cabossé.

"Alles an unserem Aufenthalt entsprach der Beschreibung, so dass wir eine schöne Zeit in einem wunderbaren Haus mit vielen liebevollen Details hatten. das Haus liegt inmitten schönster Natur, so dass es für die Kinder viel Freiraum gab. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit."

"La casa è molto affascin...

"La casa è molto affascinante, ristrutturata con grande cura per i materiali, nel rispetto delle strutture originarie, con una notevole attenzione per i dettagli, pulita e luminosa, inserita in un contesto naturale meraviglioso. Punto di partenza perfetto per splendide passeggiate tra prati immensi e boschi rigogliosi. Ideale per chi ama il silenzio, per chi rimane incantato alla vista dei cervi che passeggiano nel prato davanti a casa, per chi ha voglia di camminare avventurandosi nei boschi e scoprire sempre nuovi paesaggi. Assolutamente perfetta per i nostri amici animali (il nostro cane ha trascorso giornate indimenticabili). Durante la nostra permanenza il clima è stato molto variabile e ci ha permesso di conoscere questo luogo magico sia con il sole che con la pioggia e pure con la nebbia e ne siamo stati molto felici. I proprietari sono persone squisite, estremamente gentili, disponibili, molto attenti ad assicurare un ottimo soggiorno, felici di poter condividere la bellezza del luogo con gli ospiti. Siamo assolutamente soddisfatti e ci auguriamo di poter trascorrere presto altri giorni felici in questo bel posto. "
