Stunning place to stay

A lovely place to stay, great charm with modern comfort. Very authentic!! We loved the (heated) pool. Nathalie was very helpful with our trips. A place to return to.

60th Birthday

It was a fantastic place to stay. Everyone was bowled over with the charm and quirkiness of the Chateau. There was all the home comforts required by as all. We easily fitted the twelve us in there and we were not under everyone's feet all the time.

Très bien !

Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end dans ce magnifique château. Nathalie et sa sœur nous ont accueillies chaleureusement. Leur disponibilité et leur souplesse font d’elles des hôtes d’exception. La propriété est très bien entretenue. Petit bémol sur le ménage qui mérite un peu plus d’attention. Nous reviendrons ! Merci encore

Very nice stay!!

We had such a wonderful week!! We felt very honored to stay in this beautiful chateau. With a lot of space around the chateau where you can play games or chill at the pool; perfect for a relaxed holiday! Nathalie and her sister were very kind and recommended us a lot of things to do and places to go for dinner.

un week end très agréable

Quel patrimoine historique! Nathalie et Blandine sont 2 propriétaires charmantes, qui ont tout mis en œuvre pour nous satisfaire. Le cadre répondait à ce que nous cherchions: de l'atypisme dans chaque recoin du château! Nous vous recommandons un séjour au château de Sers.

Excellent week end familial

Nous avons loué cette magnifique propriété le temps d un week end avec nos enfants et petits-enfants ! Séjour idéal avec le beau temps, nous avons bien profitez la piscine et du parc, idéal pour les petits. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit qui a un charme fou !

A fantastic experience in every way!

It was a privilege to be able to stay in such an amazing building with a history going back 1000 years. The chateau is full of character and rustic charm but is also very well equipped with all the modern conveniences - excellent bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The Pesme sisters made us very welcome and provided lots of help and advice about the chateau and surrounding area. They also prepared a fabulous dinner for us on our first evening (by prior arrangement), which was very welcome after a long journey. We were even taught how to appreciate cognac properly! The chateau pool is in a very attractive setting and was a welcome relief as we enjoyed unseasonally hot weather. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and Angouleme is only a 15 minute drive away. All in all, an unforgettable experience made even more special by the charming owners whose family have owned the chateau for many generations. We hope to return again soon!

A lovely retreat run by two charming ladies

If you are looking for a chateau with typical french charm, decor and style then this property will not disappoint. The two ladies who look after it are kind, helpful and have some wonderful stories to tell. They also provided some of the finest cakes we have ever tasted.

Stille Tage in Sers.....

Es war alles wunderbar arrangiert von unseren sympathischen Gastgebern. Perfekte Küche. Schöne Bäder. Gute Betten. Alles stilvoll mit leichten Brüchen. Einfach aber wertig. Nichts für „Pimpel“ und Menschen mit Luxusallüren. Eine Radtour durch das Tal an die Quellen des Touré (Rom.Kirchlein/Mühlen des Königs)und von dort nach Angouleme ist ein Erlebnis!

Château très bien aménagé, magnifique jardin clos de murs : liberté pour les enfants ! Parfait !

Ce week-end familial restera un souvenir inoubliable pour nous 16 ! Deux jours printaniers inespérés ont augmenté notre bonheur : déjeuner dehors les 17 et 18 février ! Le château est superbe, extrêmement confortable, le jardin (je suis tombée amoureuse du tilleul de 250 ans sur les branches duquel poussent des fougères !, et qui, en cette saison, compose de magnifiques graphismes d'ombres sur les vieilles pierres de la façade), et les propriétaires, discrètes, et cependant tout à fait disponibles et charmantes. Un très grand merci de notre part à tous !

Exceptionnel réveillon - Exceptional new years' eve

La vie de château, on en a rêvé, Nathalie et Blandine l'ont rendue possible. C'est tout d'abord un vrai château, avec ses tours, ses belles pièces, ses escaliers et ses recoins. C'est ensuite une demeure où il fait très bon se trouver car toutes les pièces sont des pièces à vivre. Tout est pensé pour qu'on se sente chez soi tout en menant la grande vie. Blandine et Nathalie se sont vraiment imaginées à notre place en se demandant : « Que pourrait-on faire pour que le séjour soit le plus agréable possible ? » Et, dans les détails, tout est parfait. Et, s'il manque peut-être un loquet ou un porte-serviette par ci, par là, l'on peut être sûr que ce sera réglé la prochaine fois. Car il ne peut qu'y avoir une prochaine fois. The high life! We all dreamt of it and Nathalie and Blandine made it possible. First of all, it is a real castle, with its towers, beautiful rooms, staircases and corners. It is also a house where it is good to live and where every room is a good place to be. All was devised so you feel at home but with grandeur. Blandine and Nathalie really have put themselves in our shoes and asked “What can we do so their stay is as enjoyable as possible?” Everything is perfect, Maybe, sometimes a latch or a towel rack are missing, but rest assured that next time, for there has to be another time, everything will be sorted.

Un havre de paix

Nous avons passés 1 semaine en été 2010 au Château de Sers. Lieu idéal pour déconnecter et se reposer, avec nos fillettes qui couraient de partout dans l'immense jardin. Barbecue, visite, balade et repos assurés ! Quant à l'accueil, sympathique, chaleureux et convivial avec 2 sœurs qui piqueront votre curiosité. Merci encore pour tout.

Un cadre au charme incroyable!

Nous avons passé un séjour au mois d'août inoubliable, nos enfants ont adoré le grand jardin, nous nous sommes bien reposés et avons vraiment profité des joies de la campagne dans un cadre magnifique meublé avec goût et très spacieux et confortable.

Chateau Sers is our favorite B&B in France!

Once you enter through the impressive front gate you will be amazed by the romantic garden with beautiful old trees. Imagine enjoying your summer breakfast sitting in its shade, or having your winter aperitif next to the fireplace with the sound of crackling wood. The intimate rooms are in mint condition and during the recent refurbishment all original detailed were preserved. The surroundings are amazing - great for long walks. The two hosts are very hospitable and friendly, and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one!
