This place is anazing

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at this villa. The location is simply stunning and you won’t believe your eyes when you finally reach the end of the drive and arrive at this fantastic place. Bernard was the perfect host and Bargemon is the perfect Provençal village with everything you need for a quiet and tranquil holiday.

Einfach nur super!!!! Eine 12 von 10! Die Kommunikation mit Bernard war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Bernard hat immer sofort geantwortet. Das Haus ist ein Traum. Es ist alles vorhanden was das Herz begehrt und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Der Pool ist natürlich der Hammer. Wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt und die Zeit in Bargemon sehr genossen. Leider ist dieses kostbare Refugium zu unserer Ferienzeit nächstes Jahr schon vermietet, ansonsten hätten wir direkt gebeten es wieder mieten zu dürfen. Vielen lieben Dank für wunderbare 12 Tage!!!

Geweldig huis in een fantastische omgeving

Het is een heerlijk, gezellig huis, dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Een kleine badkamer bij één van de kamers, daarnaast een hele ruime badkamer en twee aparte toiletten. Het is heel fijn dat de slaapkamers allemaal een goede airco hebben, die ook op een hele stille stand kunnen en ze hebben goede bedden. In de keuken is ook alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. De tuin is groot met meerdere plekken waar je kunt zitten, in de volledige buitenkeuken, of met prachtig uitzicht over de bergen en het dorp Bargemon. Vanuit de tuin loop je zo naar twee molenruïnes, wat wij heel bijzonder vonden, zeker als je een molen bezoekt die nog in gebruik is en je ziet waar alles voor is. Het zwembad is heel schoon en van een goede grootte. Bargemon ligt op 15-20 min lopen (afhankelijk van de warmte en je conditie) en is een heel charmant stadje met mooie oude panden. Het is heerlijk om er naartoe te kunnen lopen, een wandeling te maken in het stadje en dan te eten op het gezellige plein. In het hoogseizoen is reserveren wel aan te raden. Dat je er naartoe kunt lopen is ook fijn, omdat de weg naar het huis wel smal is, met een erg smal bruggetje. Dat is wat mij betreft ook het enige nadeel van het huis, het is zeker de eerste keer best spannend om er te rijden als je dit soort wegen niet gewend bent. Het contact met de eigenaren is echt heel fijn. Je krijgt supersnel antwoord en ze voorzien je van alle informatie die je wilt, zowel vooraf als tijdens het verblijf. Jammer om weg te gaan!

Stimmungsvoll und entspannend

Wir haben nach einer Woche Aix-ein-Provence eine schöne Woche in dem Haus hier in Bargemon verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Anwesen liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes Bargemon in ruhiger und schöner Umgebung mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den Ort. Zu Fuß geht man ca. 10-13 Minuten in den Ort, was kein Problem ist. Einzig bei Dunkelheit kann man vielleicht dem ein oder anderen Wildschwein begegnen… Das letzte Stück zum Haus ist ein relativ schmaler Schotterweg, der mit einem sehr breiten Auto ein bisschen herausfordernd sein kann. Aber nach ein bisschen Übung auch kein Problem mehr. Wir wurden am Ankunftstag sehr nett von Pascale begrüßt, die uns alles gezeigt hat und auch immer erreichbar war. Besonders nett waren die schönen Willkommensgeschenke vom Gastgeber. Wirklich außergewöhnlich und eine sehr nette Überraschung! Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es war alles vorhanden, bis hin zur Nespresso Maschine. Der Pool und Garten sind sehr schön, es gibt viele unterschiedliche Sitzmöglichkeiten und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten sowie einen sehr schönen Grillplatz mit Outdoorküche- ein Traum. Der Poolbereich ist- anders als auf den Fotos- eingezäunt. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und fanden es schade, dass wir nur eine Woche gebucht hatten.

Zalige vakantie

Deze vakantiewoning oversteeg onze verwachtingen. Een mooie, zeer goed uitgeruste woning, met buitenkeuken, grote tuin en fantastisch zwembad. Dit op een zeer goede en rustige ligging, op wandelafstand van het dorp. Alle ingrediënten voor een zalige vakantie!

Gewoon geweldig

Top huis op een top locatie ♥️. Hier kom je perfect tot rust. Enige minpuntje is dat je voor alles de auto nodig hebt. Dus snel naar de bakker wandelen zit er niet in. Maar als je dat op voorhand weet, is dat helemaal niet erg. Een aanrader !!!

Fantastic house in a lovely French village

The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful the house and the outside area is. The house is really spacious, beautifully furnished and excellently equipped. There was really nothing missing. The outside area, which includes a garden kitchen, is the perfect place to chill and enjoy the surrounding landscape. The communication with the owner was great and smooth from start to finish and the welcome gift and vegetable basket were such a sweet touch. We loved everything about our stay and will surely be back some day! Merci.

Beautiful house in peaceful setting

The property is secluded and very private - yet set within a short distance to Bargemon, local markets and a variety of day trips to the coast and inland. As other people have said, the property is actually better than the photos suggest and plenty of different seating areas, especially outside to enjoy the views. Great, good sized pool and the hammocks were a special treat for peaceful relaxation. The house was very clean and well equipped. Thanks you very much for a lovely holiday.

Same old story. You ask yourself: is it really as beautiful as the photos indicate? For this property the answers is a clear no – in reality it is even more beautiful!! Photos can not display the tranquility and spirit of this place. OK, the road getting there might be a bit challenging the first time (actually quite easy to find, always follow the small road down to its end even when it becomes gravelly, small Peugeot or Citroën are better suited than a big Mercedes) but you will be more than happy to accept that for the total peace and tranquility of this place. You can easily forget your alarm clock here: Wake up with the songs of the birds, and when the frogs start croaking, it is bedtime. The Bargemon village itself is the most picturesque expression of a rural idyll à la Provençal you can think of: Buy your super delicious "Baguette tradition" for breakfast at the tiny village bakery, join the locals for a Pastis aperitif under the sycamore trees of the small village square…

Just wonderful

We wanted to let you know that we have had a most wonderful holiday. The house is just perfect! In the most perfect place- so peaceful and tranquil- a perfect retreat. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Wonderful outside space enjoyed at each part of the day. The pool was amazing and enjoyed by us all, especially the children. A 10 minute walk (up hill) to the beautiful village, live music and market on a Wednesday. We were treated to a solo opera performance by a local man whilst having a coffee in the village square- just wonderful!! We found our way around the area and visited a number of cities and towns by car or train but always looked forward to the tranquility and peace of the house. There are many large supermarkets around and a small shop in the village. The owners have been fabulous, very kind and generous, helping with information about where to find gluten free food for my daughter and on hand for anything we needed. We did not want to leave!

Das Haus und das Grundstück sind noch schöner als auf den derzeitigen Fotos. Aussenmöbel in guter Qualität und ausreichender Anzahl, wöchentlicher Pool-, Garten- , Bettwäsche und Handtuchservice, sowie die Aussenküche und der tolle Grill, machten uns fast wunschlos glücklich. Die gut ausgestatte Indoorküche mit dem Highlight des Eiswürfel produzierenden Kühlschranks sowie, die klimatisierten Schlafräume, ließen die 2 Wochen im Flug vergehen. Grande propriété très bien soignée et entièrement clôturé. La maison offre tout de ce qu'on a besoin pour passer de vacances agréables ( barbecue,terasse,grande piscine,cuisine super bien équipée,w-lan,pc,tv,etc) en gros cette maison est absolument à recommander!! Seulement le chemin pour accéder la propriété est très inégal et étroit,surtout les derniers 50 m.

Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant dans un cadre magnifique. La maison est grande, d’une propreté remarquable et de plus très confortable et fonctionnelle : il ne manque rien ! Sehr schönes freistehendes Ferienhaus mit Pool.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten und sehr schön und modern eingerichtet ohne den mediterranen Charakter zu verlieren. Da das Haus freistehend am Hang liegt hatten wir einen unverbauten Blick auf die umliegenden, bewaldeten Berge. Der Abstand zum nächsten Nachbarn ist groß genug, so dass wir uns ungestört erholen konnten. Um das Haus einfacher zu finden, empfehlen wir eine mobile Internet-Verbindung.

un vrai dépaysement, au calme, en pleine nature

Très belle villa avec une grande piscine et une superbe terrasse avec bbq et ombrage. Cuisine très bien équipée avec Frigo américain et lave vaisselle. Le wifi et le pc est un plus ainsi que la disponibilité des "concierges" sur place en 10 min, en cas de soucis. La literie est de bonne qualité et les chambres et sdb sont spacieuses. L'endroit est isolé, sans voisin direct, et très calme, visités par la faune... Seuls point négatifs : - l'accès (route sur 400-500m) est très étroit et très difficile pour une voiture berline familiale basse, vu le chemin en terre et pierres. - Pas de ventilateurs. A part ça, si vous voulez du calme au coeur de la nature, sécurisé et avec une grande piscine privée, c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut !!! Encore merci aux propriétaires.

Un magnifique séjour!

Un magnifique séjour, c'est le meilleur résumé que nous puissions faire. Nous avons l'habitude de louer des maisons dans le Var pour nos vacances d'été, et celle-ci nous a ravis. Premièrement, la maison est d'une propreté sans faille, et c'est important. Ensuite, l'équipement est parfait jusque dans le détail (Frigo américain, taques à induction, ordinateur, consommables Nespresso, papier de toilette, sacs poubelles,... mis à disposition gratuitement, chose rare). La piscine est spacieuse, les terrasses sont très agréables. La maison est très confortable dans son ensemble. Les chambres en particulier. Le terrain est particulièrement vaste. La nature est un peu sauvage et le village de Bargemon est un véritable petit bijou qui vous plonge dans le film d'Amélie Poulain. Léger bémol : quelque soit l'activité (plage, lac de Sainte Croix, etc.), il faut prendre la voiture pour minimum 30 minutes. L'accueil est chaleureux et les propriétaires sont charmants. Que demander de plus pour passer un excellent séjour...

Fabulous.

This is one of the best homes we have stayed in during our stay in France. We lived here for 7 weeks and not a day went by that we didn't say to one and other that we had made the right choice. We were greeted by Fred and Pascale who settled us in and looked after for the entire 7 weeks. The house is brilliantly situated below the village of Bargemon with views to the village on almost 4 hectares of forest. It is comfortable and accommodated us and our guests very well. The spinning pool is fantastic. If you are looking for piece and quiet and a location with access to this region of the Var then this is the place. Thank you Clementine and Bernard for your home.
