Restored 'relais' dating from 1850 in the heart of a typical Medoc village of 900 inhabitants, the property is ideally located between the vineyards of the world-famous 'route des châteaux' and the Atlantic coast beaches 25 minutes away.
Completely renovated in 2013 in vintage chic style, the house has 5 bedrooms (accommodating 6 adults and 6 children) and boasts a large rose-filled garden with a 12m x 4m heated swimming pool.
A bakery, pharmacy and small grocery shop (open 7 days) are all just steps away from the front door.
The perfect setting for vacations with family or friends, offering large volumes (350m2) including 2 living rooms, a kitchen open to the garden and a large teak table seating 12 people on the patio.
Evenings are spent relaxing on the pool terrace (70m2), lounging on a deck chair under the starry skies.

Spacious and well-equipped property!

What a beautiful property! The spaciousness exceeded our expectations as did the top of the range appliances and fittings. Our teens and families really enjoyed all of the rooms and garden. Would recommend highly.

Family vacation in Medoc

The relais is very spacious and well equipped - there were 11 of us. Laundry room with enough towels for bath, pool and beach. Extra large fridge freezer and a coal BBQ. Begadan has a good pharmacy, big supermarket 10mins away in Lesparre and the beach in Montalivet is 25mins. The pool, music room and amount of toys entertained the children for days.

Het huis is echt heerlijk. Groter dan verwacht en de tuin is mega. Voor de kinderen hoef je ook echt niets mee te nemen. Alles ligt er! Speelgoed, speelkamer, speelschuur en zwemspullen.Wij waren hier op familie vakantie en een beter plekje hadden we niet kunnen hebben. Bedankt!

Maison exceptionnelle. Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis. Maison ultra équipée( jeux, cuisine). Le jardin est fantastique avec la piscine. Les pièces sont généreuses. Une maison de caractère décorée avec soin. L’accueil a été très chaleureux. Un séjour au top !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus in Bégadan! Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben den schönen Garten samt Pool genossen. Der Ort ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge entlang der Gironde und an die Atlantikküste.

maison fantastique, localisation appréciable

Maison fantastique au niveau des volumes, de la déco, de l'équipement. Petits bémols : piscine non chauffée (nous sommes tombés sur une semaine pluvieuse) et il faut avoir fait polytechnique pour regarder la TV (semaine des JO donc important). Pour le reste, la maison est fantastique et avec la voiture, on est à 20 min de la plage, 6/7 d'une excellente boulangerie (Lesparre); Nous la recommandons !

Parfait !

Le séjour s’est parfaitement déroulée. La maison est spacieuse, propre et très agréablement décorée. L’ambiance qui s’en dégage est à la fois reposante et inspirante. Le guide de la maison est complet et compréhensible. Les équipements sont pléthoriques, en particulier dans la cuisine, et sont tous de qualité. L’extérieur dont la piscine est également parfaitement adapté à des vacances entre amis et enfants (sécurité ok) pour profiter du soleil. Bref je pense que nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
