Cottage 40m², welcoming 4/5 people, just outside of the Brière Park apartment, bright and quiet with a clear view of the surrounding countryside from the south facing 30m² terrace (not overlooked) and an adjoining porch 25 sqm.

The lodging of Rock welcomes you in a calm and relaxing environment.
Stay in the heart of a vast garden through a small creek with trees and other centuries-old oak trees. You can also stroll through the orchard where a flock of sheep from Cameroon.

Located 25 minutes from the sea between Nantes (50 km), La Baule (35 kms), Vannes (60kms) and Redon (30kms) you can enjoy the sea, the Gulf of Morbihan, streams (Canal Nantes to Brest, Le Brivet), salt marshes, cities of characters (Guerande, La Roche Bernard, La Gacilly ...).
Many walks and excursions by bike are possible especially along the canal from Nantes to Brest ...

Staying in the beautiful Brière Park

We loved the area where we were because we find the marshes inspiring with the bird life, the wild flowers, the big skies. In the gite, the Wifi is excellent, the garden shady in hot weather and the sheep quite fascinating.

Maison agréable

Bon séjour, espace de vie spacieux et avec les grandes baies vitrées, on a l'impression d'être dans les arbres. Pour améliorer l'indépendance des chambres, des rideaux pourraient être rajoutées dans la mezzanine. Propriétaires sympathiques qui nous ont donnés des informations touristiques intéressantes.

déception

les photos nous laissaient croire à une maison isolée : le porche sépare la maison en bois de la maison des hôtes et voisins en face ; pas de clim ou ventilo = période très chaude difficile ; attention aux visites nocturnes du chat voisin . vue sur le jardin -brebis-, pas d'accès à la rivière. bonne literie en 140 et calme pour se reposer. prévoir tout le linge de maison (draps, serviettes, torchons...) et peu de rangements. proche de la brière pour les balades.

Gezellig huis

Goed ingericht, omdat we met twee waren konden we beneden slapen. Boven staat ook een 2-persoonsbed, maar daar kan het zonder airco warm zijn . Jammer dat de zijramen niet open konden (en dan eventueel voorzien van hordeuren?) . De mevrouw die ons ontving is erg aardig. In de omgeving is veel te zien.

Kleine, aber feine Unterkunft im Hinterland. Strände und touristische Ziele sind gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sehr nette Gastgeber und eine Top-Bäckerei in Pontchâteau.

Le gite est très calme et agréable ; nous avons apprécié le cadre, le jardin et les moutons . Nous n'étions que deux donc pour nous c'était parfait mais pour 4, le couchage sur la mezzanine est plus adapté à des enfants qu'à des adultes car très près de la pente du toit (mansardé) . Les propriétaires sont agréables et discrets.

Nous avons été déçu par plusieurs éléments : la location n'était pas propre (c'est encore plus curieux en période de COVID), le jardin, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce, n'est pas entièrement accessible puisqu'il est entouré de clôtures, le cabinet de toilette est beaucoup trop près de la chambre. Par ailleurs rien n'est accessible à pied et nous avons donc beaucoup roulé ...

Gite agréable mais peu mieux faire

Le gite dispose d'un très joli jardin avec terrasse. L'emplacement est calme et situé à 30 minutes de Penestin comme de Guerande. La déco est sympa mais le ménage n'était pas très bien fait à l'arrivée. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un forfait ménage obligatoire qui garantirait un logement propre surtout en cette période de crise sanitaire.

Séjour en famille avec mes enfants de 7,5et 2 ans . Bel accueil, Gîte fonctionnel et très joliment agencé et meublé. Propriétaires disponibles et sympathiques. Endroit agréable et reposant ☺️ Les moutons sont un plus pour les enfants ils ont adorés les nourrir et les carrésser. ☺️ A refaire sans hésitations. Merci

Charming gite in a beautiful semi-rural location.

We loved the sense of calm and community in the houses along the lane to the gite, the friendliness and civility of neighbours, and the richness of the fields and gardens....birds, sheep, cattle, even the wildlife- ragondins! And most especially, the welcome afforded by our hosts, who went out of their way to be helpful to us.

Nous y avons séjourné 2 semaines (Août 2018) avec nos 3 filles, le lieu est très ressourçant, calme, reposant avec très belle vue 180 sur une vallée arborée. Les enfants ont pu profiter du grand jardin des propriétaires. Gîte fonctionnel et bien aménagé, jolie terrasse, pas de vis-à-vis. Propriétaires (discrets) accueillants et de bon conseil pour les visites aux alentours.

Très bon séjour

Excellent séjour, avec un accueil chaleureux de M. et Mme Ménard, un logement très bien équipé, moderne, à notre convenance. Nous avons apprécié le calme, et la situation idéale, à la fois pour visiter la côte et l'intérieur de la région. Passionnés d'ornithologie, nous avons, entre autre, apprécié la réserve naturelle de la Brière.

Chaleureux, calme et moderne

Nous avons passé un séjour de 2 semaines très agréable dans le gîte du rocher aux portes de la Brière. Le gîte est très récent, donc impecable en tout point. Même si la location est située sur le terrain des propriétaires, ces derniers sont très discrets et nous font très rapidement oublier cette proximité. Pour autant, ils sont de très bons conseils et sont toujours disponibles. En ce qui concerne le cadre, on se sent vraiment coupé du monde tout en étant à proximité de tous commerces (5 min en voiture). Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Merci encore à Laure-Anne et Anthony pour cette contribution à la réussite de nos vacances.
