The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn off water in the basement under the stair well on the back right by turning the two valves on the copper meter a quarter of a rotation to the left and right facing away from each other.
Turn off hot water breaker in garage circuit box which is 2nd to the bottom on the left and should be the only breaker switch that is off.
Heat is via hot water, which takes time, so turn up all thermostats in rooms you are going to use (down stairs bedroom, kitchen and two upstairs bedrooms) to 68 and no more than 70 degrees.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This lovely condo was a fabulous place to stay in Big Sky. Clean, comfortable, and convenient to shops, skiing and West Yellowstone gate.We can’t wait to return!
This was a great place to catch up with good friends. We relaxed, talked, ate great food and enjoyed the mountain skiing. We would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at Jay’s condo was very enjoyable. It is spacious, well appointed, and clean. The location is convenient to the Town Center where there are many restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to the mountain. Jay was extremely responsive to any questions we had. Great time.
Jay's place was a wonderful retreat for our family's trip skiing in Big Sky. The place is spotless, with comfortable beds/furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. The garaged parking shouldn't be underestimated, either - our gear would stay relatively warm in the car when we started out each morning.
The location was really ideal at the end of the day, since the complex is before the traffic lights in Big Sky as you are coming down from the mountain at the end of the day.
Communication with Jay was excellent as well, and the instructions clear from arrival to closing the condo up for our departure.
We had a wonderful time and look forward to future stays!
We have been visiting Big Sky since 2014. This townhome is extremely well located between the Meadow Village and learn Mountain Ranch so everything is very accessible. The property was very quiet and well-maintained. There is a pool and gym that is just a short walk from the unit. I would highly recommend!
The photos don't do the place justice! We walked in and were very pleasantly surprised by everything from the cleanliness to the appealing layout of the space. I would highly recommend Jay's place to anyone looking to travel to Big Sky who is willing to drive to the Mountain. The location is also perfect for getting into town and doing non-ski related activities.
We really loved our stay here in Big Sky. Jay is great to deal with, the cabin has lots of great character and is very warm and cozy. Exceeded our expectations.
Our family had a wonderful holiday in Big Sky and found the accommodations in this condo to be very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is perfect for any activities in the area including snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park. Jay was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this property in Big Sky and would stay again.
Our family of four recently took our first ski trip to Big Sky and we loved it! We stayed in this condo and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is perfect, it's spacious, has a great kitchen, 3 very nice bathrooms, and all the furniture is super comfortable. I was even able to do some laundry so that I didn't have mountains of dirty clothes to deal with when we got home.
Best of all, Jay (the owner) is very nice and it was a pleasure to deal with him. Thank you for everything!!!
Great location and great condo. Not much of a view is the only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star stay across the board.

About the host
Hosted by Jay Scott
I was raised in Montana and attended Montana State University in Bozeman. My family, friends and I have been skiing or vacationing in Big Sky almost every year since it opened. Although I love Montana my work has taken me to California so I cherish the 6-8 weeks per year I spend in Big Sky.
Why they chose this property
I have always preferred renting in the Meadow over the Mountain Village since it is less congested, is more reasonably priced for the space, has better access to more amenities, has so much more to do in the off ski months and may be more comfortable to some with an elevation of just over 6,500 feet above sea level. I watched this complex being built and have dreamed of owning one of the units. Luckily the recession provided me that opportunity.
What makes this property unique
We offer a unique Western Lodge feel. Most furniture and fixtures are made in North America and the majority purchase from local craftsmen with the exception of a few pieces from Europe and Mexico. Our wall hangings and memorabilia come from local artists, photographers or have been handed down from previous generations of Buffalo, Elk and Cattle ranchers. Although it may appear remote on a map, we are very centrally located to the following which may be of interest during your stay: Bozeman with its historic downtown, many restaurants, entertainment and shopping. West Yellowstone with access to Yellowstone National Park, tours and snowmobiling. Two world class fly fishing streams, the Gallatin and Madison which are also great for white water rafting. Lewis and Clark Caverns and many more attractions. And of course the Biggest and Best Skiing in America!
