After skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, or exploring Mammoth, come home to a real wood-burning fireplace, a large dining table for group dinners and games, a fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of room to spread out.
The home is designed for families and groups who want comfort, convenience, and walkability. The living room has a real wood-burning fireplace with firewood supplied, a large-screen TV in the living room, books, games, and comfortable seating for relaxed nights in.
The kitchen is fully stocked for group meals, with a large dining table and island seating so everyone can gather together. The layout works especially well for two families, with two queen bedrooms for adults and twin/bunk rooms for kids, teens, cousins, or friends.
In winter, walk to the Village gondola and avoid the hassle of driving and parking. In summer, use the home as a basecamp for hiking, biking, fishing, boating, festivals, restaurants, and pool time.
We are close to the action and excitement of the Village (4 min walk) and the Westin (2 min walk) but private enough that you are not disturbed by any of it.

Practical notes
Maximum occupancy is 10 guests under our permit and insurance.
The home has a standard 50-gallon water heater. For larger groups, remember to be considerate so everyone has plenty of hot water.
The home is family-friendly, but it is not baby-proofed, has stairs and a real fireplace.
Laundry is shared with the development and located near the manager’s office (pay by app).
Mammoth Lakes requires local lodging taxes on legal short-term rentals. Our cleaning/linen fee reflects the size of the home, full turnover cleaning, and towels/linens for up to 10 guests.

Ground floor -front bedroom (2 twin beds), bunk room ( two double twin bunks)), Bathroom with bath/shower, main bedroom (Queen bed) with en-suite double vanity and shower room.
Top floor: Living room, dining area (Seating 10 (8 adults comfortably at the main table) plus 2 at the bar)), kitchen, bedroom (Queen bed), shower room.
Dimmable LED spots in all rooms (bye bye bad condo lighting).
Living room has a Malm real wood fireplace and vaulted wood ceiling with skylights. The living room opens onto the balcony which has an electric Traeger BBQ and stores the free firewood.
Our home has a well stocked renovated kitchen: new plates, pans, utensils, coffee maker, blender, sandwich maker, etc.
The living room has large flatscreen TV, surround sound, BluRay/DVD and IPTV (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu etc. (you will need your own accounts). We have lots of DVDs and music in the unit.
All bedrooms except bunk room have flat screens with IPTV.
All bedrooms and living room have a humidifier. All rooms have individual thermostat electric heating.
We have fast wireless broadband throughout (subject to service)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for accessing the slopes via the gondola. Darryl was incredibly responsive and helped work through a few electrical issues without any significant impact on our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The owner and property manager were both very helpful and responsive. We had 10 people and we were actually very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and many common staples like olive oil were already there.
It was a great stay. Everything works, nice instructions everywhere which is helpful. Easy walk to new village. Digging out the cars with all the snow was hard, but maintenance workers were all around the complex and helped out with it. We’ve stayed here a couple times and really enjoy it.
Spacious condo. Nice fireplace. Great location. Walking distance to Village and gondola to slopes. Parked the car and didn’t have to move it. Jacuzzi and sauna at the property were awesome after skiing. Easy communication.
Wonderful experience. Cute, cozy, and clean. Exactly as described. Was a perfect space for our 2 families. Would highly recommend. Great communication with owner and manager. Would definitely book again! Mammoth Lakes and this multi-room is beautiful!!
Large and welcoming condo with well furnished kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of room and beds for our 10 person family for a one week stay. The complex has washer and dryer and the grandkids had fun in the pool and enjoyed it s amenities. Its location is excellent and very near the Village. The host was very responsive and our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We have been coming to Mammoth for many years and this condo is the best one and most accommodating to our needs for 10 person family.
We had a great stay at Daryl’s place. He was super communicative before and during the stay and the place was exactly what we had hoped/expected. Great location and with 8 beds, it slept the 10 of us perfectly. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our first time to Mammoth. The location was amazing. The size of the condo was great for our small family reunion. The owners were so helpful throughout the whole process for any questions we had. Check in and check out was a breeze. We will definitely stay at this location again.
Delighted you guys had a good time. To be clear on the kitchen. We have original refinished cabinets, new countertops and flooring, new low voltage lighting and all new stainless steel appliances. We are also fully stocked with flatware, silverware and cookware beyond what is normal for a rental. See photos.

Winter or summer Mammoth Lakes is a world class spot and we love spending time here. This is our home and we invite you to share it with us. We love coming here to do everything or simply nothing.
We love skiing and snowboarding as well as hiking and fishing. We also love just hanging at the condo relaxing as a family.
Mammoth is a place where kids can be kids and we can unwind. After a hard day (or not) in the outdoors, we usually cook at home, light a roaring fire, pick a good book or a movie and snuggle up on the sofas.
Why they chose this property
Mammoth Estates is one of the best positioned developments in Mammoth. A very short walk to the Village and Canyon gondola you can park the car and forget about it. Kids can come and go as they please, the shops are a few minutes away but we are out of the hustle and bustle of the town. We are a few minutes walk to great restaurants, bars and shops when we want them. A shuttle stop which gives you free transport all over town is a 1 minute walk from our front door.
There are not many 4 bed 3 bath town homes this convenient to everything for both winter and summer. Most developments are great for one or other (or you are stuck out of everything not close to anything).
The development is well maintained and has a hot tub and sauna open all year as well as a pool (summer only). In the main office area there is a ping pong table, pool table and pinball. There are also two sets of washer/dryers in the same area.
What makes this property unique
Our home has been renovated to keep the mountain cabin charm but lose the bad lighting, old bathrooms and dodgy carpet. Modern, comfortable and highly functional this truly is a home away from home. We want to share our home with people who appreciate that and will treat it accordingly.
Many of our happiest memories come from time spent in our home in Mammoth.
