Magnificent stone construction facing the 16th century manor, the fern house benefits from a superb environment, perfect calm just a stone's throw from Cherbourg (Cité de la Mer, shops, restaurants, easy access ... ). Formerly the manor's bakery, this authentic and charming little building is now converted into a charming and elegant little cottage, perfect for a couple. Intimate terrace among the tree ferns. Manoir de la Fieffe is also a charming guest house with 4 bedrooms. Ideally located for exploring the Cotentin, you will be half an hour from the main attractions of this splendid region.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les deux semaines passées dans l'ancienne boulangerie du Manoir de la Fieffe. Notre jardin privé, où nous nous sommes détendus avant et après nos excursions, ainsi que le grand parc aménagé étaient magnifiques.La Cité de la Mer à Cherbourg, les superbes sentiers de randonnée côtiers de la côte ouest, la plage du débarquement d'Utah Beach sur la côte est avec son excellent musée et les nombreux jardins publics sont facilement accessibles et constituent des destinations d'excursion qui valent le détour.Nos hôtes Emmanuel et Michel nous ont accueillis à notre arrivée avec des spécialités régionales et étaient toujours disponibles pour répondre à nos questions et nous donner des recommandations.Nous avons pu nous détendre et nous déconnecter à merveille. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise là-bas. La cuisine était parfaitement équipée pour nous qui cuisinions nous-mêmes et il y avait même une machine à laver dans la salle de bain .Le logement était extrêmement propre et bien entretenu et nous le recommandons sans réserve.

Hele fijne gastheren. Bijzondere plek, fijn huisje omringt door bijzondere planten en bomen. Wat jammer is dat er eigelijk geen goede, fiets en wandelpaden in de omgeving zijn. Je hebt dus echt een auto nodig als je elders wil fietsen.

Vacances en pleine nature tout près de Cherbourg

Le gîte, l ancienne boulangerie du manoir,est en pierres dans une immense propriété. On ne peut être plus au calme et au coeur d une nature verdoyante. Il est tout près de Cherbourg et de Tourlaville. Le gîte est très confortable, très coquet et très bien chauffé. On y trouve tout ce qui est nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. J y retournerai et je le conseille vivement

Heerlijk verblijf, maar auto is noodzakelijk

Een heel leuk huisje in een prachtig parkachtig groen domein gelegen. Wel altijd de auto nodig om er op uit te gaan. Met de auto is de Cotentin prima te verkennen. Aardige gastheren.

Excellente semaine passée dans un très beau gîte situé à côté d'un manoir superbe. Ce gîte est parfait pour 2 personnes, belle décoration, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour, literie digne d'un grand hôtel.

Das Haus und das Anwesen sind sehr sauber und gepflegt, und die Pflanzenwelt ein Traum. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir hatten jeden Morgen frische Backwaren an der Tür hängen ,die wir den Abend vorher bei Emmanuel entweder pers. oder über whatsapp bestellt haben. Es waren 14 Tage Erholung pur. A la découverte du Cotentin, région française plutôt méconnue

Propriété idéalement située pour visiter le nord du Cotentin. Superbe demeure du 16 ème siècle remarquablement entretenue ainsi que ses extérieurs. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce domaine.

Ein bezaubernder Ort, wir haben in der alten umrangten Bäckerei gewohnt. Das Häuschen hat eine wundervolle, gemütliche Ausstrahlung. Der Garten ist kunstvoll gestaltet und soo schön. Die Betten sind feinste Qualität und man schläft himmlisch. Merci Emanuele und Michael

Delightful cottage in beautiful surroundings. Well furnished with good shower and comfortable bed.

We enjoyed the cottage and surroundings spent every evening there rather than eating out. Good location for visiting the Normandy beaches Bayeux and all the coastal regions of the Contentin Peninsular. Le Mont St Michel two hour drive away. Quiet spot spent lots of the evenings in the gardens. I would definitely recommend this property

Vraiment très bien

Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'accueil et la disponibilité de Monsieur De La Fonchais. Le gîte est vraiment très bien équipé, rien ne manque, c'est agréable. Très bel environnement . La situation du gîte permet de visiter le Cotentin sans faire trop de kms, emplacement idéal. Bonne literie et seuls les oiseaux pourraient vous réveiller. Il m'a juste manqué un peu de soleil dans la pièce principale.

Parfaitement situé pour visiter la région, le gîte est dans un parc arboré, au calme, on s'y sent si bien qu'il est difficile de partir ! Les propriétaires sont accueillants, et ils ont beaucoup de goût pour la décoration. Très belle propriété, jardin magnifique. A réserver sans hésitation !

Warm welkom in Manoir le Fieffe!

Bij extreme winterkou (-12 C!) zeer warm verwelkomd door de eigenaren van de charmante gite. Bij aankomst stond een fles cider klaar en was er gezorgd voor extra verwarming. In het huisje ontbrak het aan niets, alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Terug komen doen we zeker, al was het alleen al voor het heerlijke bed! Peter en Tanja Verlaan
