What a fantastic location, and an amazing place for our family to come together. The village of Carces was amazing and it was a really easy walk of a couple of minutes into the town centre to pick up our breakfast. This place had everything we needed a little hard to find but well worth looking for.Thank you to the host for making everything so easy, and allowing us to have such a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Toplocatie met prachtig zwembad !

Het is een prachtige locatie met rust en mooie uitzichten vanuit de tuin. Wij waren met 2 gezinnen waardoor je boven en beneden goed kan gebruiken. Het zijn nl. eigenlijk een aparte boven en onderverdieping. Eigenlijk niets op aan te merken behalve dat airco een plus zou zijn als je in de zomer verblijft.

Life in a French village

The villa has beautiful views overlooking the village which you can walk to in about 5 minutes. It was particularly nice to walk down to the village in the early morning to get croissants and baguettes for the day. The property is very private with a wonderful dipping pool and several serene sitting and eating areas. Having two units each with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and bathroom was beneficial when hosting guests and adult family members. The outdoor table and BBQ area is wonderful where you can seat 10+ people around the table. The balcony/deck on the top unit is nice for having morning coffee, cocktails, and/or dinner. The owners of the property are lovely couple and responsive to any needs the arised.

Agréable et convivial pour un séjour au calme sans vis à vis

Pratique et conviviale pour un séjour en famille ou en entre amis. La maison se compose de deux appartements séparés. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la grande table a l’extérieur et le barbecue a gaz. Par contre la piscine parait plus grande sur la photo qu’en réalité mais cela ne nous a pas empêcher de bien s’amuser. Merci au propriétaire qui nous a répondu rapidement a chaque fois que nous avions une questions (que se soit dans la préparation ou même durant le séjour). Très belle expérience et bon séjour.

- We hebben genoten van onze vakantie met grote privacy op het mooie domein. - Het zwembad is aan de kleine kant maar proper. - Spijtig van de vele slakken in het gras, waardoor in het gras spelen onmogelijk was. - De moderne keukens en badkamers voldoen aan de hedendaagse normen. - Een tip voor de eigenaars : een beter 2 persoonsbed op het bovenste verdiep zou aan te raden zijn.

Belle villa dans un village magnifique

Nous sommes resté 2 semaines dans ce cadre provençal parfait! Une jolie maison, bien orientée où il fait bon se réveiller au soleil :-) Un beau jardin pour les enfants, une jolie piscine et une belle terrasse où il fait bon de boire le pastis :-) Un petit chemin à l'arrière de la propriété qui vous permet de rejoindre le village de Carcès en quelques minutes et à l'ombre :-) Carcès, un magnifique petit village, où l'on trouve tout ce que l'on recherche :-) Un marché nocturne le jeudi, le marché "normal" le samedi matin, l'intermarché non loin de la propriété, bref toutes les commodités sont réunies pour passer de bonnes vacances! Un super resto "L'oie qui boit" à à peine 5 minutes à pieds de la villa et surtout des propriétaires au top qui répondent dans l'heure à nos questions et nos interrogations! Il est certain que si nous revenons à Carcès, je n'hésiterai pas une seconde à recontacter Catherine pour une nouvelle location! Le village se trouve aussi à proximité d'autres jolis petit village tel Cotignac, Lorgues, Régusse, Aups, et près des Gorges du Verdon! Un endroit à découvrir :-)

Mooi huis wat net was aangekocht en opgeknapt.

Een mooi ruime woning met een bovenhuis op het niveau van de oprit. een beneden huis op de hoogte van de tuin en het zwembad. Het beneden huis was in Juli 2015 net verbouwd. alles is voorzien van mooie nette nieuwe meubels. Het zwembad is niet heel groot met wel groot genoeg om lekker te ontspannen of om lekker is te verkoelen. Bij het zwembad zijn 8 ligstoelen beschikbaar en is er een overdekt schaduw deel waar het lekker zitten is, zelf bij 40graden! Het huis staat in het dorp maar daar merk je niets van als je eenmaal de oprijlaan in bent geslagen. Ook vanuit het huis of de tuin zie je geen buren. Wel een fantastisch uitzicht!! Zeer vriendelijke en zeer goed Engels sprekende eigenaren. Aanrader dit huis, ook omdat Carces een leuke plaats is. Het voordeel daarnaast is dat je binnen een uur aan de kust bent, bij lac sante croix of andere leuke plekken bent.

Bel Air is just five minutes walking distance of the village centre with all its amenities; shops, cafés, bars and restaurants and its weekly 'Marché Provençal'. The villa's grounds open onto a small and charming water irrigation channel or 'canal' from where one can either take a short-cut to access the village or in the other direction one can follow the canal path out of the village towards towards the nearby 11th century chapel of Notre Dame de Carami. From there a recognised touristic trail leads on to the scenic Lac de Carcès with its fishing and biking and hiking trails. So whether its, lounging by the pool, leisurely countryside walks or strolling into town for a glass of chilled rosé or a meal, Bel Air is excellently positioned for it all. Looking further afield, the village is ideally located at the crossroads of some of the region's most highly regarded villages of Cotignac, Lorgues and Entrecasteaux to name but three all within a 9miles radius. The lac de Carcès is a key feature of the area for fishing, hiking and biking. The beaches of Saint-Raphaël, Sainte-Maxime and Saint Tropez are only 40 mins away whilst other popular tourist attractions are the following distances: Aix-en-Provence 45 miles, Nice 70 miles, Saint Tropez 37 miles. The reknown golf course at Barbaroux Golf Club is about 10 miles distant. Lastly there's an Intermarche supermarket situated just half mile away.
