Small cozy cottage!

We had a very nice vacation in Lostmarch. It is a small cottage with a garden. Perfect for anyone who likes peace, simplicity and being close to nature. Communication (mainly via email) was great, even though we only knew a few words of French (thanks to deeple translator). Check-In was easy and very warm hearted. We were shown everything we needed.

Das beste vorweg, die Umgebung ist unfassbar schön. Es gibt einsame Strände, super viele Wege, die mit und ohne Hund wunderschön zum Wandern und Laufen sind. Der nächste surfbare Strand ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, einfach herrlich. Das Haus ist von außen absolut entzückend. Nun die vielen kleinen oder großen Mankos. Die Toilette ist direkt am Esszimmer in einem kleinen Raum, der so groß ist wie eine Besenkammer, ohne Fenster, ohne funktionierende Entlüftung. Man kann seine Mitreisenden quasi während man isst auf Toilette zuhören und leider diese auch riechen. Der Kühlschrank brummt extrem laut, was auf Dauer sehr störend ist. Beim Backofen fliegt die Sicherung raus, sobald man diesen benutzt. Die Betten sind oben, über eine sehr schmale, steile Treppe zu erreichen. Die Möbel sind zusammengewürfelt und alt. Den Garten kann man nicht direkt aus dem Haus erreichen oder einsehen, man kann also den Hund nicht einfach rauslassen, sondern muss ums Haus gehen. Handtücher, Bettwäsche, etc. muss selbst mitgebracht werden. Das Sofa unten ist nicht zum Liegen oder sitzen geeignet, verbraucht nur Platz. Das Geschirr ist schön, aber Töpfe und Pfannen sind sehr einfach und für maximal zwei Personen zu gebrauchen. Würden wir hier wieder her fahren? Grundsätzlich sehr gerne, mit angepasster eigener mitgebrachter Ausstattung.

Gîte très agréable avec emplacement idéal dans la presqu’île de Crozon

Le gîte est simple mais bien agencé (il ne manque rien), la propriétaire est adorable, et la proximité de la lande et de la plage de Lostmach (accessibles à pied depuis le gîte) sont un atout supplémentaire. Un bout du monde, puisque la route s’arrête au bout du hameau… Nous avons été époustouflés par les côtes déchiquetées de la presqu’île. Nous reviendrons assurément !

Gut, einwenig sparsam, aber wir waren nicht dort um im Haus zu sitzen. Die Landschaft ist fantastisch. Der Strand wunderbar. Die Leute freundlich, mit unserem Hund gab es keine Probleme, alles sehr gelassen, Urlaub halt.

Tolle Lage! Leider sehr dreckig und feucht.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen da. Es hat gepasst aber war dennoch sehr eng. Es ist Geschmackssache, wir fanden es mit 4 Personen doof, dass die separate Toilette ohne Fenster direkt an die Küche (einziger Raum unten/Wohnraum) angrenzte. Die Wohnung war feucht, die Klamotten und Handtücher trockneten im Haus gar nicht. Das Problem hörten wir dann auch von einer Nachbarin, die das Haus bereits einmal für Ihre Familie gebucht hatte. Da wir aber top Wetter hatten, konnten wir alles draußen trocknen. Es gab auch eine Wäscheleine, der Rest kam auf die Gartenstühle. Die Ausstattung war ausreichend aber es war alles sehr dreckig und in der Besteckschublade traten wir auf Schimmel. Wir haben alles, was wir benutzt haben gut gespült und separat gestellt, denn selbst die Schränke in denen nur Geschirr steht müffelten. Uns war nicht klar, dass wir Strom und Wasser extra bezahlen mussten. Hiervon stand nirgends etwas. Bei 4 Personen, die normal geduscht und gespült haben, lagen wir bei acht Tagen bei knapp zwanzig Euro zusätzliche Nebenkosten. Nicht die Welt aber eine Info wäre toll gewesen! Weiterhin hatten wir sehr starke Kommunikationsprobleme!!! Die Eltern der Besitzerin haben das Haus übergeben und abgenommen. Wir konnten kein Französisch und wissen bis heute nicht, dass was nun tatsächlich in den 75 Euro Servicegebühren enthalten war. Es sollte z.B. der Müll getrennt werden. Glasflaschen und Altpapier gesondert reichte wohl nicht aus, es wurde bei der Übergabe zum Ende viel diskutiert und verstanden alle nicht was der andere meinte. Hier wäre eine Info im Haus in verschiedenen Sprachen sehr sinnvoll um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden! Wir hatten vor ab auch gefragt, ob der Garten umzäunt ist, da wir mit Hund angereist sind. Den bejahten umzäunten Garten gibt es, allerdings separat hinterm Haus. Da die Straße (Sackgasse), die direkt an der wundervollen Bucht liegt (15 Minuten zu Fuß) nur wenig befahren ist, haben wir die Gartenstühle, die fast alle in der Lehne gebrochen waren nach vorne gestellt, damit wir näher am Hauseingang waren. Im Umkreis waren alle sehr freundlich und obwohl schwimmen wie Hunde am Meer verboten sind, waren alle schwimmen und es waren auch Hunde am Strand. Es war wenig los, trotz angefangener Saison und die Lage ist ein absoluter Traum! Wir würden nicht noch mal das gleiche Haus buchen aber den Ort würden wir jederzeit wieder besuchen! Die Kaution war 10 Tage später wieder da.
