Master bedroom on main level with large private en-suite with a walk in shower and soaking tub. Additionally on main level a custom kitchen with marble counters and high end appliances such as a Wolf 8-burner cooktop with double ovens, separate oversized refrigerator and freezer, walk in pantry, bar area with a Marvel wine chiller & beverage refrigerator. The family room is shown off with a gas fireplace. Also on the main level is a laundry room with a pull down ironing board, a locker room area for storage. Next to that is a double stall garage.
The upper level has two bedrooms (a King bed the other a queen) with another spacious living room with queen sofa sleeper, a walkout deck (perfect for quiet time and reading). Upstairs is complete with a beverage and coffee station.

The lower level boasts a custom kitchenette with ice maker, full size Fisher & Paykal refrigerator/freezer , dishwasher drawer & microwave. There is a bunk room (sleeps six) along with the fifth bedroom with a Queen bed - all with beautiful lakefront views, private sliding doors and patios. An outdoor shower when you come in from the beach. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom, along with a main guest powder room.

No pets allowed, no weddings allowed. Minimum age requirement of lease holder is 35 years old. Guests can be under 35 years old, the lease holder must meet the age requirement. Thanks.

Everything about the home was extremely well thought out , the kitchen had high end everything!!! The home was perfect for entertaining our family and truly felt like a home instead of a rental property. Beautiful Home

I primarily stay in vacation homes rather than hotels and this home was by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. It was beautifully decorated and fully stocked. The views are breathtaking and the location is amazing—close to Grand Haven and Spring Lake for great restaurants and shopping. We stayed for a family girls weekend and made amazing memories over the weekend here.

Stunning beach home on Lake Michigan!

This was the perfect home for our college reunion weekend. Plenty of space to spread out, but a cozy fireplace to gather around. The home has been completely updated with a beautiful, well appointed kitchen, huge bathrooms and plenty of beds for everyone. Brenda was the most gracious hostess providing recommendations for hiking trails, dinner and other things to do in town. She was so easy to work with and I'd highly recommend renting from her if you are looking to stay in this beach "dream home" with your friends or family.

Gorgeous and spacious home for larger groups

From the moment I inquired about the property through the final day of our stay at the “Sandbox” as the home is named, our experience was exceptional. Brenda, the property owner, was very responsive and helpful in all of our communications. The house itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated and maintained. A five star experience for sure! Our family of 12 never felt cramped in the slightest as there are plenty of rooms to gather in each of the 3 levels of the home. The house with its floor to ceiling sliding glass doors backs up to Lake Michigan which make for breathtaking sunset views and is very convenient in allowing us to just walk out the back patio to enjoy the lake. I would absolutely recommend this property and hope to be back with my family again soon!

Fantastic house/location

Fantastic house on the lake, three floors of floor to ceiling windows. House has every amenitie you would need and was probably the cleanest vrbo I've stayed in. North shore in Grand Haven is great because it isn't as busy but with the same great beach. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Getaway

I cannot say enough good things about both this property and the owner. The house is even more gorgeous than you see in the photos and obviously the location is spectacular. What made this rental even better was the absolutely incredible interactions with the owner. She was so helpful and was genuinely concerned about making our stay the absolute best.

Clean and beautiful place

It was the perfect place to get away for a few days during spring break.... even though it was cold for swimming, the views from the Property were gorgeous. The sunsets were amazing. We were able to walk on the beach a few times. Brenda went out of her way to accommodate our needs. House was fully stocked with necessities. Kids were entertained with games in the basement (with a view!). There were board games, puzzles, etc etc. food delivery was available and the kitchen is a dream. The house is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with access to multiple walking trails closeby. We would definitely come back in the summer!

Amazing beach house

The owner really thought through everything. The house had everything to make the week a super fun week! Beach accessories, tons of cooking gadgets, wonderful appliances from stove and oven to washer and dryer. The house was very clean. The lake view is breath taking! One negative, the bedroom we slept in had way too much light that came in and I notified the owner. Hopefully for the next guest there are black out shades. The beds were comfortable and clean. The decor is gorgeous. The deck is outstanding. The location is fabulous! I highly recommend this rental and would go back!

Gorgeous Beachfront Vacation Week

Our first “Papa+“ week away where all of my 4 kids, their 2 spouses, and four grandchildren and my fiancée gathered for what will always be remembered as “The Perfect Week With Lake Michigan.” Only 15 steps into the foyer of this palace and it’s obvious why you’ve come: Lake Michigan. Windows as far as the eye can see and beautiful blue water that literally speaks to you. Luxurious bedrooms with deck access and closets large enough to sneak a bunk room mattress in for the toddler in our group! Massive kitchen with stovetops galore (I challenged the kids to do the cooking and they came through big time) and walk-in fridge (OK, sure seemed like it!) walk-in pantry and appropriately-sized wine fridge. Coffee makers everywhere and we tested them all. Beach gear kept all of the grandchildren busy as we were lucky enough to have multiple Lake Michigan whitecap days. We rented kayaks and SUPs on the last day as the lake’s energy subsided. We enjoyed on-the-beach campfires until the mosquitos came out. And the clear nights allowed viewing of the NEOWISE comet. Can’t say enough about this place and the hospitality of its owner, Brenda. You won’t be disappointed if you’re lucky enough to snag a week of peace and solitude here. come:

Spectacular

House is exactly as described. It’s immaculate. Perfect location. Amazing beach. The decks offer the most beautiful views of the lake and of sunsets. The bedrooms are specious and comfortable. There is plenty of room for large groups. Fully stocked with all the beach gear needed. Amazing kitchen. Brenda is an amazing host. Very easy to reach and full of great information. Great getaway weekend for the family!

Fabulous Family Celebration Weekend

We have stayed at a number of rentals and this home and experience was exceptional. The owner was responsive, proactive and customer service oriented. The home exceeded our expectations and was spacious with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. The floor plan was perfect for a family celebration. The location could not be beat as it offered spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the pier. The multi level decks and outdoor seating added greatly to the experience. We were also blessed with unseasonable warm and sunny weather. We enjoyed hiking on the beach and in nature preserves and trails near by I would highly recommend this property.

Best girls weekend getaway location EVER!!

This place couldn’t have been any more perfect for me and all my favorite ladies to get away together! Relaxation, laughter, tears, new friendships and new memories made by everyone! From the moment we all entered the house we were in awe of the decor, ammendaties and view! This house and the owners made sure all 11 of us ladies got exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway! Everything You Want From A Vacation Rental

The house is spectacular. Top of the line decorating and finishes. We had a large group and it didn’t feel crowded at any point. Every couple had their own bathroom. The house is right on the water just steps from the beach. Brenda is a great owner and has thought of everything you’d need in a vacation rental....basically just show up and enjoy – everything’s been thought of and provided in advance. Great communication. We will be renting again. Highly recommended!

Great for multi-generations!

We have only positive things to say. Love that they had kid friendly items such as the baby gate, pack n play and high chair. The living and dining/kitchen areas were large enough to accommodate a large family and it was nice to have living areas on all floors that allowed for some separation and convenience. Everything was clean and organized which made it very easy to find everything that we needed. The deck was a great spot to watch the sun set over the lake and enjoy a hot cup of coffee on a crisp morning and was again large enough to accommodate the whole family. We liked that there was a spot to play in the sand right by the house in addition to a clean and clear path to the lake/beach. We had four generations for our stay from 88 down to 8 months and this house was perfect for us! Loved every minute!

Exceeded Expectations

Celebrating milestone birthday with family. Brenda truly has a house that wants for nothing. Upon arrival we noticed the home was meticulously clean, everything was organized and welcoming. 5 of our grandchildren ages 6-11 loved the bunk beds and having the lower level to themselves. Our 8 month old had a pack and play/high chair etc. provided by the house. We had as many as 8 adults at one time and the fold out bed on the second level came in handy. Everyone was comfortable as there is ample room here. This is truly a luxury rental with great, well stocked kitchen, multiple decks where you can have some privacy, iPad controlled sound, etc. The beach is easily accessible and is a relatively short, flat walk from the house. The kids loved swimming and playing there. Located close to park and hiking which we took advantage of. Make sure to get to the Grand Haven Farmer's Market on Thursday. Brenda was readily accessible to answer questions. This was a memorable experience and the home made it great. Highly recommend!

Best house ever

I cannot say enough great things about the house. Brenda has thought of everything. A contemporary designed house that has everything you would want in a beach rental - perfect view of lake michigan, outdoor fireplace on the deck, boardgames, control 4 sound system, huge dining area inside and outside, bunk beds for kids, etc. I could go on and on... Highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious beach rental. And Brenda was a pleasure to work with. Thanks again. Hope to make it back there sometime in the future.

This is the second rental home for us on beautiful North Shore Drive...Also known as 'The Million Dollar Mile' - this custom home has been our pride and joy, and we have spared no expense. We live in this area and just love Grand Haven!

Why they chose this property

Location...Location...Location - Private 75 feet of beachfront on the BEST area in all of Grand Haven. There is a natural dune preserve directly across the street (great for hiking and spotting animials that live there). There are no steps or cliff to climb to access the beach, its a straight path down to the water, great for anyone of any age to access.

What makes this property unique

Our custom home has lots of outdoor decks (different levels, private decks off the four bedrooms facing the lakefront) and ground level patio area. There is an outdoor gas fireplace on the main floor deck, and at night with the lake view, views of pier and sunsets, amazing!
