The property was spotless aand delightful. Its situation was perfect for a peaceful few days with beautiful rural views. Parking was easy right next to the buillding. We particularly enjoyedan evening chat with our super helpful hosts.

This is a lovely cosy and comfortable property, a tasteful combination of traditional features and modern facilities. It is scrupulously clean and extremely well-equipped, with everything you could need for your stay. It has a spacious conservatory with lovely views over the countryside. There is ample parking on site. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The property has good local walks and is extremely well situated for exploring, amongst others, Cambridge, Ely, Bury St Edmunds and Colchester. We would thoroughly recommend this property.

Lovely relaxing stay at the Old Granary. Everything we needed was there and additional treats were left by the hosts. The view from the terrace was exceptional and we were lucky to see a fox, a couple of badgers and an owl over a couple of evenings. The cottage is well placed for visiting many of the attractions this part of Suffolk has to offer. We would definitely consider staying again.

A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely town. Anywhere with a sourdough bakery, a micro brewery and a castle is going to be high up on the list of places to visit. The olde granary has lots of room, good equipment, is very modern and the beam in the bedroom was not a problem. Wifi was sometimes difficult to get but having an OS map of the area and leaflets about local walks more than made up for that. It was very thoughtfully set up for visitors.

The Granary has been well restored and provides a great base to explore this area of Suffolk. The property is light and airy with lovely views over the fields.

Wonderful Location

The Olde Granary is a delightful character cottage with lovely views over the countryside. Beautifully presented with everything you could need Roger and Anna great hosts and we will certainly return in the future

A Good Base

The property is perfect for two people and actually feels bigger than it looks in the photos. Also has a lovely garden. Owners are very friendly and helpful and are on hand if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful retreat

Beautifully presented, perfect for a couple. Lovely hosts, whom we met on the last night. Will definitely recommend to others and hope to return ourselves for a longer stay...lots to see in the area but we ran out of time.

fantastic little gem

Had a great time staying at The olde Granary in Clare. It's a wonderful location just a 30min walk into the town to the local pubs and tea rooms. No more than 30/40m=ins from all the major sights. Hosts Roger and Anna went the extra mile and some to make our stay the best it could have been, Thank you so much.

Gloriously restful stay..

We stayed in Clare for a week and absolutely loved this place, as well as the surrounding area. The Old Granary is spacious, immaculately clean and quiet. It’s location was perfect for us with lots of walking, pubs, charming old buildings and within easy driving distance of other unique places. Anna and Roger were welcoming, helpful and fun. It’s a really well appointed cottage, and the sun room is perfect for relaxing in. We will definitely be returning!
