This beautiful, waterfront retreat offers a spacious deck for those evenings when you want to sit and gaze at the star filled sky! There are no city lights here on the Island to dim their brilliance. Many nights the stars seem so close you feel like you could reach out and touch them! Located on Bass Cove on a large waterfront lot.

This home has 2 bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 baths. The downstairs Queen Master is spacious and features lots of storage space. Bedroom 2 upstairs, is spacious, tastefully appointed and features two Queen beds along with a 1/2 bath. Beautiful, airy feeling throughout the home thanks to lots of large, bright windows and an open living space. Large deck for enjoying the outdoors. Sleeps 6 comfortably.
· If you are making this reservation within 24 hours of arrival please call for check in instructions.
· Check-In after 4 PM. Check-Out by 9 AM. Check in at Drummond Island Hotel & Vacation Homes at
34834 S Townline Road. We will provide you with keys & directions.
· Any fees associated with processing a credit card will NOT be refunded if you cancel your reservation.
· Pets welcome. Pet reservation is required. Please read our Pet Policy. Two Dog max. A $50 per pet fee
will be added by Property Manager.
· All reservations have a 30 Day Cancellation Policy.

Beautiful waterfront property

The star gazer cabin was a beautiful waterfront property! We came to Drummond to Jeep and this cabin was close to trailheads. Home was cozy with everything we needed.

Peaceful summer getaway

Wonderful time at Star Gazer

We had a very relaxing time. The view of the water was amazing. We loved hearing the waves lapping the shoreline. The house was as advertised and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something remote and quiet.

Family vacation

This is a great place! Right on the water, beautiful peaceful view! Very close to a trailhead and 4 miles from the beach. No complaints!! Lots of family time around the fire morning and night.

Quiet and relaxing

Property is about 20 minutes away from amenities and the pictures are outdated, but no issues other than that. Not far from a trail staging area and lake levels are high, so water was close to the fire pit. Will stay again.

Stargazer cottage

Very beautiful views on a quiet peaceful dead end road! It’s about 25 minutes from the town area. The house was everything we hoped for! We enjoyed our family vacation at this location! Things we enjoyed was bike rides and bon fires at the cottage, we did the indoor putt putt with the kids at The Rock, off-roading to fossil ledges, the public beach close by, boating and fishing, seeing a bear and enjoying the small shops and restaurants!

Clean and great view

Clean property. Nice views of the lake. Accurate description. Secluded quiet location. Only complaint and complaint is a too strong of a word is the water has a lot of iron in it, a lot. But that would not stop us from staying here the next time we are on the island.

Great UTV getaway!

We came to experience the island on our UTV. Great timing between Jeepers weekend and Memorial day. Island was relatively quiet (great for us) and so was the lakeshore. Great spot to connect with the end of the UTV trail or sit on the deck and take in Lake Huron. House was everything we hoped for, clean quiet and quaint. South side of island is a little breezy compared to the rest. Thank you for great accommodations.

Jeep event getaway

This was a nice property to relax on the water! Aside from my husband driving thirty mins each way to his Jeep event we enjoyed this place. It did however not get cleaned very well from the last people as we found random stuff under tables and there was dog hair all over the carpets. Otherwise it was a great home! Would come back here again!

Sisters’ Unplugged Weekend

We loved the location close to the trails. The view of the lake from the house was beautiful. We enjoyed watching and listening to the waves crashing in. The limited cell service at the house was a plus for us, we did take advantage of the WIFI for texting. The house shows some age on the decks, however the interior appears to have been recently updated. We would definitely rent again and recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful waterside retreat

This property is right on the water! You can look out the back sliding glass doors and see a beautiful view of the lake. You are also far enough away from any neighbors to have peace and tranquility, but are still just a 15 minute drive to the center of the island where all the business are located. Wonderful home on a beautiful island! There is not much cell service on the island, so be prepared for that.

Shooting stars are amazing!

Clean and comfortable cabin! Great internet and awesome view! We really enjoyed our stay. There was both a nice fire place inside and firepit out by the lake. We saw 2 Bucks and a mama bear and cub crossing the road. The neighbor showed us a video of a Moose in the woods just 2 doors down that happened while we were there. Totally a fantastic experience. The serenity of the water and woods are relaxing and unforgettable. Awesome huge deck to hang out on! Hope we can come back again soon!
