Large family friendly cottage by the sea. New modern cottage with great facilities.

Large cottage by the sea for rent.
The cottage is of a high standard, with large living room, kitchen and beautiful bedrooms.
The cottage is well equipped and is beautifully located on Sotra at the far end of the sea.

A perfect starting point for those who want to go deep sea fishing, or just a family vacation.
Own boat that is possible to rent is located in the marina 100m from the cabin.


Boat is not included in rental price but can be hired on request.


There are very good fishing conditions in the area. There are filleting houses at the boatyard. Here is also a freezer for storage of catch.

Large and secluded and spacious terrace with sea views.
The chalet is located 150m from Panorama Hotel and Resort, which offers its own wellness department, restaurant and Bar.
The cottage is newly built and has a large living room, separate TV room and attic with terrace in the 2nd floor kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
3 double bedrooms and 2 large bedrooms on the 2nd floor. In addition, the TV room and loft area are equipped with a sofa bed.
Also suitable for several families, or groups wishing to vacation together.

sheets and towels can be rented for 150NOK / person

The cottage is built for private use and is rented out for vacant periods.

Tranquil and Magical

We had a lovely stay at William's property. The cottage is lovely and well equipped. The location is stunning and was a much needed respite during a busy trip - everyone wanted to stay longer. We hope to be back next time we're in Norway.

Beautiful, Romantic Sunsets by the Fjord

We never tired of the view...absolutely magnificent. We were there in May and enjoyed the midnight sun! Plenty of sturdy deck chairs, a big hot tub, and an impressive large couch with plenty of throw pillows. Only 2 of us so the property felt large. Just incredible sunsets, relaxing hike to grocery (25 mins), even a farm across the way with friendly goats, Scottish cattle, horses, even emus! Easy taking modern bus to Bergen. We rented a car for last 2 days, but did fine first 2 days hiking around. Friendly people in the area, and very relaxing.

Very nice house direcly on the fjord

The house is in a very nice location and has al the amenities you need. The firepit was pretty cool with the stunning sunsets. There is other houses just around which seem to be kind of partylocations. It was a bit noisy 3 evenings during our week...but maybe that's just because im getting older ;-) William is a very nice host and takes care of everyhing. The fishing is also pretty good and there's a lot of fish just a 5 min drive with the boat. We really enjoyed our stay in Steinsland.

A view that provides peace and tranquility

We so appreciated being right on the water and enjoyed the view from each room in the house! The sunsets were magnificent! The owner was available and responsive to the couple of questions we had. We cooked our meals and the kitchen had all that we needed. The hot tub and sauna were enjoyed at the end of each day for a relaxing moment. The house is approximately 45 minutes into the center of Bergen and a beautiful ride. We wanted our first trip to Norway to be authentic and the best way we found to do that was to stay in a lovely fjord to take in all the natural surroundings… this house provides that and sweet memories that we won’t soon forget!

Unser Gastgeber war immer super hilfsbereit. Die Lage war ideal für uns, da wir uns eine ruhige Gegend gewünscht haben.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in ein paar Minuten erreichbar.Die Ausstattung war ausreichend und die Einrichtung war Mega gemütlich.Kann es für jeden der Ruhe haben möchte mit einer wundervollen Aussicht empfehlen.

The views were absolutely stunning, and the sauna and fire pit were wonderful highlights of our stay. However, a few notable details: the hot tub water was unfortunately green, and certain finishings, including the glass balcony, moldings, and pool table, were not built with high quality. Also, as a few other guests noted, the neighboring guests were quite noisy playing loud music late into the evening. While we enjoyed the overall experience, these specific maintenance and quality issues detracted from our stay.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit direkten Blick auf das Wasser. Die Ausstattung hat uns gut gefallen und alles hat gut funktioniert. Der abendliche Blick von der Terrasse oder aus dem Whirlpool mit Sonnenuntergang war unbezahlbar! Die Gegend ist auch sehr ruhig und in wenigen Autominuten ist man bei einem Supermarkt.Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Perfekt! Es ist ein super schönes Ferienhaus! Die Lage, die Meeranbindung sind einfach nur toll!Das Haus selber ist gut ausgestattet! Der W-LAN Empfang ist leider nur im EG gut, Obergeschoss und Terrasse funktioniert leider nicht!Der Vermieter ist sehr sehr sehr nett! Immer da wenn es Etwas zu regeln gab und auch sehr großzügig! William kümmert sich sehr um seine Gäste und Höbel es 10 Bewertungssterne würde er diese von uns bekommen! Einfach nur TOLL

Schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Toller Blick vom Jacuzzi aufs Wasser. Auch die Sauna war toll. Leider habe ich in der Küche einige Utensilien vermisst und dafür das die Unterkunft eine Sauna und einen Pool hatte fand ich ein Handtuch pro ersonnen sehr wenig. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war super. Wir hatten eine. Schöne Zeit als Familie.

Stor og velutstyrt familiehytte

19 barn og voksne hadde ei svært kjekk helg på hytta. Vêret veksla frå magisk solnedgang fredag til vind, delvis sol lørdag og regn og vind søndag. Friskt og vekslende som ofte i april. God plass, flott natur og utsikt, leker, biljardbord og flott boblebad ute, ga rom for mange aktiviteter og mye fellesskap. Tiden fløy. Svært hyggelig!

Hyggelig overnatting

Hyggelig overnatting i nydelige omgivelser! Vi var en kollegagjeng på 12 personer, ingen problem med så mange soverom og store oppholdsrom, vi storkoste oss! Vi vil likevel gi tilbakemelding på et par punkter for å forbedre neste opphold: - vaske stekeovn og stekebrett skikkelig, vi opplevde stor røykutvikling under matlaging - synlig spindelvev i kroker - lite håndsåpe/toalettpapir - ødelagt persienner på bad - savnet avfallsposer og kildesortering - nesten tett vask på bad v/kjøkken Ellers takk for oss :)

Traumhafte Aussicht

Das Objekt war für skandinavischen Verhältnissen gut ausgestattet. Kleinere Schönheitsreparaturen stehen noch aus. Aber insgesamt ein absolut schönes Haus zum Wohlfühlen. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war zu jedem Zeitpunkt vorbildlich und freundlich. Wir freuen uns darauf im nächsten Jahr abermals dieses Haus besuchen zu dürfen.
