Beautifully Restored Apartment in Farmhouse with Swimming Pool and Woodland

“Terrazzo Balcone” at Cascina Arcadia is a beautifully restored first floor apartment within a farmhouse named after its wonderful large covered balcony. This apartment provides wonderfully furnished, spacious accommodation with pretty views of the grounds and surrounding countryside.

There is a large open-plan living room/kitchen and dining area, which has immediate access to a spacious covered balcony where you can enjoy al fresco dining using the excellent BBQ facilities and relaxing on the reclining chairs.

The kitchen is well equipped with a hob and oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

The dining area has a table which seats six. There is also a Bluetooth Bose music speaker and lots of books & games in the storage dresser.

The lounge has a charming fireplace and 2 leather sofas. There is a flat screen tv on the wall and a playstation with games.

The beautiful main bedroom overlooks the extensive grounds and valley from its own balcony. There is a king sized bed with luxury memory foam mattress, also in the room there is a wardrobe & lovely armchair for you to relax on.

There is a wonderful mezzanine sleeping level with 2 single beds accessed by a staircase from the kitchen / living area. The room is filled with lots of character by way of ceiling beams and aptly furnished. Please note that this room is open to the floor below so is not suitable for young children.

The shower room is spacious with toilet, bidet, sink and shower enclosure.

The apartment is one of 6 properties within the farmhouse and also a separate converted barn. It is surrounded by 120000sqm of woodlands, hazelnut groves and grounds. The swimming pool area has been developed to the highest standards and is accessed by stairs built from traditional Langhe stone. The pool is 18m x 5m and is situated in an elevated position and includes a large surrounding terrace area that provides the ideal environment for swimming, sunbathing and general relaxation. The swimming pool is unheated and is open from 1st May until 30th September.

Die FeWo liegt bei Cortemilia und ist wie auf den Fotos. Auf dem grandiosen Balkon gibt es hochwertige Holzstühle. Eine Liege wäre schön gewesen. Sonnenliegen gibt es aber am großen Pool. Für eine Abkühlung prima; zum längeren Schwimmen zu kalt. Ruhige Gegend. Internet funktioniert bestens (Netflix). PS3 mit Spielen und DVDs vorhanden. Gute Betten. Bad ausreichend.

Huis is leuk ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken. Bedden op zolder zijn van mindere kwaliteit. 2-persoonsbed is goed. Balkon is heerlijk en zwembad is ook prima!

Een heel mooi appartement, goed verzorgd. Netjes. Prachtig balkon met een mooie barbecue, waar je kunt genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Het hele complex ziet er goed verzorgd uit. Genieten van de rust. De ligging is wel erg afgelegen. Als je graag onder de mensen bent is dit niet de locatie waar je moet zijn.

My husband is 1/2 Italian and I am English and we have 2 boys. We live in England but visit our home in Italy as often as possible. My husband speaks Italian and English and I speak just English (but trying to learn the Italian language).

Why they chose this property

My husband has always wanted a home in Italy and I have always loved woodland areas.
We discovered Piedmont region a few years ago and fell in love with its areas of natural outstanding beauty and of course its famous Barolo and Barbaresco wine.
The property is also in proximity to The Alps, Milan, Portofino, Barolo and Monte Carlo.

What makes this property unique

The views from the property are stunning and I love to sit with my book and a cup of coffee on the balcony and take in my surroundings.
My husband enjoys going off on his bike around the many hills and scenic roads in the area.
And of course the boys love to play in the swimming pool, play on the playstation or exploring the woodlands.
