Twin Palms is a fabulous two bedroom apartment, located at the well loved, prestigious resort of Glitter Bay on the west coast of Barbados. This apartment has just been refurbished elegantly to a very high standard, and is fully equipped with everything that one would expect of a high end, privately owned property. The comfortable accommodation sleeps up to five guests and overlooks the resort swimming pool and a lush oasis of coconut palms and tropical gardens. From the terrace, it has stunning views of the lush gardens & pool and a partial view of the ocean. One of the best stretches of sandy beach on the island is a thirty second walk from the apartment through the lovely gardens. The beach comes complete with comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas, fresh towels daily, a beach bar, and beach & pool staff to help make your stay all the more relaxing. Glitter Bay resort offers many of the facilities of a top ocean front development with acres of lush gardens, a large swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, concierge, friendly staff and 24 hour security. The apartment is very well maintained and comes with its own housekeeper and property manager, meaning it has a high standard of cleanliness, and is properly managed. It offers everything you could desire in a beachside hideaway and is perfect for a honeymoon, romantic getaway or a family holiday. There is a children's swimming pool, and playground, as well as plenty of space for children to enjoy the freedom of a summer holiday. Beautifully refurbished and furnished apartment. Glitter Bay is a great location in Barbados, with pool, lovely beach, beach bar does great food and cocktails, tennis court and gym.

Christina the property manager was great to communicate with, and the host keeper Arlene a lovely lady who always had a smile on her face.The condo itself was stunning, and the view from the balcony pretty, with the pool and gardens in full view ( with a partial view of the ocean ).Everyone enjoyed using the air conditioned gym, which had all the equipment they needed. This is a stunning property, and it’s beautifully equipped. We did a lot of cooking because we had an infant with us, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need

Perfect location, comfortable, clean condo.

This Glitter Bay condo was perfect for my wife, 2 sons, and myself. The location is ideal, on quiet West Coast. Swimming and snorkeling just a few steps away. Close to Holetown for shopping needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

Beautiful Spacious Apartment

A beautiful bright spacious apartment with a staggering balcony. The cleanliness of our apartment was exceptional and Arlene our housekeeper was a lovely hardworking lady. A minutes walk to the beach with designated sunbeds. All in all I would highly recommend a stay here.

The apartment was exceptional and with every mod con! We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday and would definitely love to return again. Arlene was of great assistance and kept the apartment spotlessly clean. Glitter Bay is a well kept private site with easy access to the beach and to the Fairmont Hotel next door. Fantastic spacious sparkling clean apartment

Newly renovated when we arrived. Beautifully furnished. Amazingly clean. Large terrace with dining area, seating area and views of the Carribean sea. Christina was super helpful and responsive and Arlene had answers to everything we needed to know and kept the apartment to the highest standard. Highly recommend..

Twin Palms, 411 Glitter Bay - “excellent holiday apartment”

Spent 2 weeks at this apartment in July with my wife, and our 18 year old daughter and friend. It’s well appointed, smart and clean - all due to very professional and courteous property management and housekeeping. Recommended for anyone who wants a peaceful stay in an attractive location by one of the best beaches on the island

Bad start, but good overall

The first day we arrived to discover that there was no water at all! We couldn’t wash up, use the kitchen sink or flush the toilets. We were told that repairs were being done to the plumbing system and the the water would be on ‘as soon as it dries’ The water did come back several hours later. We discovered the same situation the next day, only it was worse this time. No water all day. At five o’clock we were told that it would be back on in a half hour. We made dinner reservations for 7:30 and arranged for a taxi ride. After coming back from the beach we all needed to shower before going out to dinner. After numerous calls to the property manager we were told just about every 20 minutes the the water would be on shortly. The water did not come back on until a little after 7:00!!! At one point we were told that getting the water pressure up to the fourth floor could contribute to the proble. Needless to say we had to cancel our dinner reservations and taxi. Not a great way to start a trip. The unit is beautiful but the LR couches were very uncomfortable. Good reliable Wi-Fi. The housekeeper Arlene was wonderful. And Perry our taxi driver was also very good. For the next 8 days everything was fine. The beach is beautiful, the drinks and food at the little beach bar are very good. The location is not the best. You have to go into Holetown for groceries and to go to dinner. Very little is walkable. We’ve been to Glitter Bay a number of times and it’s a beautiful place to vacation.

Wonderful

Apartment is beautiful. Immediately felt at home. Every thing you need is in the apartment. Blissful relaxing evenings on the huge balcony. Housekeeper is a gem and keeps the apartment beautiful and looks after guests. A total chill out, blissfully peaceful pool area and fantastic beach. Beach bar does great food. Two weeks were really not long enough!

We can't say enough good things about this property. Location is absolute perfection. Beach is barely a 3 minute walk... bar, food, service at the beach are all terrific. Close to restaurants, shopping. Apartment is immaculate, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Christina is gracious, helpful, responsive and very kind - exactly the sort of host we'd want anywhere! Arlene the housekeeper is super. A wonderful week! Thank you!

Lovely apartment in a great location on Glitter Bay beach. Walkable distance to Holetown, or 2Bd$ on bus or 25Bd$ in taxi. Apartment had all the amenities you would want, and a fantastic terrace for al fresco eating in the evening. Pool and beach were good. Tasty lunch at pool bar served by friendly staff. Would definitely recommend! 10/10

Delightful stay

Our family of 3 had a wonderfully relaxing time staying here at Glitter Bay. Dealing with Cristina when arranging our stay went smoothly. The apartment was immaculate and what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. It was spacious, light and airy. The location for Glitter Bay is perfect, no hassle to just stroll down to the pool and gorgeous beach area where sunbeds are readily available. The snack bar was unfortunately shut for most of our stay, opening only on the last day, however it was open for drinks. This was not a huge issue as we just walked along the beach to the Fairmont next door or lonestar for breakfast as well as staying in for breakfast on a couple of days. There are plenty of restaurants to go to in the area for a slap up meal or just something quick and easy. Bus stop right outside or taxis are easy to order. There are tennis courts in the grounds but I would suggest taking your own balls as the ones provided were not very bouncy. A great holiday and we would consider staying in this apartment again.

Family vacation in Barbados

We were a family of 4 adults who totally enjoyed the island and our stay at Glitter Bay. We stayed in the Twin Palms villa, it was very spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfortable. The outdoor deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening meals. Christina was very responsive to any of our questions and offered to book our catamaran sail. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Never Fails!

Just returned from another two week break at Twin Palms. Thanks to Christina for her usual impeccable organisation and arrangements. Thanks to Chauntel, our wonderful, friendly and cheerful Housekeeper, for her kind help and assistance during our stay. The apartment has been refurbished ( yet again ) to maintain the excellent standards of decor, practicality and overall ambience. Every description of Twin Palms is accurate and in my opinion, understated. It truly is an excellent place to stay when visiting Barbados. We look forward to returning to Twin Palms again next January for another wonderful holiday experience. Thanks to all concerned

Really nice condo.

A great place to stay Barbados. Our group was four adults and we never felt crowded. Kitchen small but efficient and well equipped. Chantell (maid) is a sweetheart. Beds were comfy. A short walk to the pool or beach, neither of which were overcrowded in eary February. Christine (property manager) is very helpful. There is a beach/pool concierge that dispenses towels, assigns beach chairs and answers any questions or can provide recommendations. There are beach towels in the condo for times when you want to explore other beaches or take in a boat ride. In short: a very comfortable base to explore a lovely island, or just relax in the complex's comfy beach lounge chairs looking out over the ocean. All four of us had a great, relaxed stay. One bit of feedback: the Smeg brand appliances were a bit of a mystery at first for us Americans, and some of the button-labels on the microwave were faded, so there was some guessing and fumbling in the kitchen at first. A user guide in a kitchen drawer would have been helpful. Totally nit-picking here, the place totally deserves the 5-star rating. (After using these appliaces for a week, I am wondering if they are available in the States. Dishwasher is as quiet as a mouse.)
