Summer 2025

A fantastic property set in the beautiful grounds of the chateau. A great location to explore Normandy in a really tranquil and peaceful setting. Patrick & Brigitte where exceptional hosts and made us feel extremely welcome.

Our stay Jun 2nd - June 9th

Very nice object located close to a castle within a park. Equipment as described with proper conditions found. Very kind owners invited us for castle sight seeing and welcome snack. We really enjoyed our stay during the 80th D-Day annivasary. A good location to start exploring city of Caen and the landing beaches. We like to recommend this location.

Summer holiday in Normandy

We all had a wonderful stay in the cottage, which was in the grounds of the owner's chateau. Patrick and Brigette were very welcoming and friendly. The gardens were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. My sons enjoyed playing tennis and ball games in the orchard next to the cottage. Patrick recommended a lovely beach, which was only a 20 minute, drive away and quieter than neighbouring Cabourg. We visited Bayeux, Aromanches & Ver-sur-mer, where the British War Memorial is. Quintessentially French

The property is beautiful. Its well laid out and easy to keep clean. It's located directly next to the Chateaux, which is a beautiful property and has a wonderful garden. Its in a very quiet location surrounded by fields. We were kindly given access to the orchard too, which gave even more room for the boys to run. In the wider area there is a supermarket in the nearby town near access to the motorway. Beaches and D-Day sights were all within 25-30 minutes drive. Patrick and Brigitte are such a nice couple. Very attentive without being a bother. They are rightfully proud of all they have done with the properties. I cannot recommend the property any higher. I firmly believe that the boys will remember this holiday for the rest of their lives, and this property will be an integral part of that (.....with the help of Luca the dog).

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haus und Grundstück sind äußerst ansprechend, und die Ausstattung lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Auch die Küche ist gut eingerichtet und bietet alles Nötige für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen

We verbleven hier met 5 personen, en hadden het hier echt naar onze zin. Perfect als uitvalsbasis om kust en stadjes in de buurt te bezoeken. Het kasteeldomein is een prachtige setting en het huisje is ideaal gelegen met alle voorzieningen, een grote tuin én een fijn terras. De eigenaars zijn lieve mensen en geven met plezier en trots een rondleiding in hun vakantieverblijf. Enige minpuntje : internet is niet stabiel en het huisje was niet 100% stofvrij. Maar zeker een aanrader !

Ruhige Lage, zentral gelegen im Pays d'Auge und damit bestens geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung; Einkaufsmöglichkeiten praktisch nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen; direkte Umgebung nicht für Spaziergänge geeignet (fast ausschließlich Autostraßen, fehlendes Wanderroutennetz); Einrichtung bunt zusammengewürfelt, entspricht aber gutem, einfachem Standard; angrenzende Streuobstwiese lädt zum Spielen mit Kindern ein; sehr nette Gastgeber, Verständigung in Frz. und Engl. mgl.; Unterkunft bei Ankunft leider nur mäßig gereinigt

Demeure historique, très charmante et confortable

Le logement est installé dans une dépendance aménagée avec goût et qualité. Spacieux, grands espaces extérieurs ou les enfants pouvaient jouer librement, nombreux conseils du propriétaire quant aux sites d'intérêt qu'aucun guide ne connaît. Seul bémol : les lieux ont été laissés dans un état particulièrement poussiéreux, et par endroit franchement crasseux.

Toller Ort um die Normandie zu entdecken

Das Ferienhaus ist Teil einer toll erhaltenen Schlossanlage und wir haben die heißen Sommertage im Schatten der Apfelbäume sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben uns das Schlösschen gezeigt und uns Ausflugstips gegeben.

Sommerfrische auf dem Land

Familie Dumousset bewohnt ein Herrenhaus aus dem 18. Jhdt und sind freundliche Vermieter eines separaten Nebenhauses, dessen hinterer Teil vermietet wird . Die teilweise mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtete Ferienwohnung besitzt ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Couch und Sat-TV, eine kleine, gut ausgestattete Küche mit Sitzgelegenheit und im Obergeschoss dreieher kleine Schlafzimmer mit separatem Wannenbad und Dusche. Freundliche Wohnathmosphäre, der Fliesenboden sorgt für angenehme Kühle bei sommerlicher Hitze. Herausragend ein Frühstückstisch mit Sonnenschirm und ein angeschlossener Obstbaumhain, in dessen Schatten sich gut Zeit verbringen lässt. Der nicht sehr ansehnliche Ort liegt 15 min von Caen entfernt und bietet keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. In 10 Minuten Fahrtzeit sind Bäckereien und Supermärkte erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Belle location au coeur de la Normandie riche en visites.

Propriétaire accueillant. Maison indépendante bien équipée, située à 3/4 d'heure au plus de toute activité : plages du débarquement, musée du débarquement, Bayeux, Caen, Honfleur, Da7ville, Cabourg, producteurs de fromages et de cidre et Calvados. Endroit reposant.

sehr schönes Haus am Schloss

Das Haus ist sehr charmant und dabei sehr funktional. Im privaten Garten davor haben wir gerne gesessen und die Ruhe genossen. Die Lage ist ideal, um das Département Calvados und die angrenzenden Teile der Normandie zu entdecken. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Great place to stay

It’s a fantastic little house, perfectly located in Normandy to see many different sights. We were welcomed very nicely and the hosts were really accommodating and helpful, too. We also really liked the full equipment of the kitchen and the beautiful location of the house itself! Would definitely recommend staying there to any of our friends/family!

Historisch verblijf op het franse platteland

Erg leuk om te logeren in een 18e eeuwse personeelswoning bij een heus chateau. Erg veel ruimte, rust en historie. De verhuurders wonen in het chateau en zijn erg vriendelijk. Het kon allemaal wel wat schoner, schoonmaken gebeurt met de franse slag... Maar dat wordt weer gecompenseerd door de antieke inrichting en de dubbele badkamer.

Idyllisches Ferienhaus in toller Lage auf dem Land; Wunderbar zum Entspannen
