Situated on farthest Western point of Solana Beach, this beautiful San Diego oceanfront rental will take your breath away as you walk through the door. This condo houses a perfect getaway for both luxury and relaxation in this private, peaceful Southern California beach town. Need to work? This unit has incredibly fast panoramic wifi to make your work from home needs a breeze. You'll find nautical decor and color scheme throughout this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit illuminated by the turquoise ocean just outside the windows. There is 1 king bed in the Master bedroom, 1 queen bed in the second bedroom, and a wrap-around couch in the living room-- this does not fold out. Upgrades are sprinkled throughout including a huge flat screen TV in the living room area neighboring the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the luxury of private parking and laundry or venture down to the community area and pool/BBQ.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
*There is no AC in this unit. Being located along the coast brings cooler temperatures and a coastal breeze. 
*Community Beach Access is closed due changing bluff conditions. Nearest beach access from Surfsong is Fletcher Cove approximately 0.2 miles & 5 min walk.
*For work from home we always recommend having a hot spot backup as we can't control service interruptions & outages.
*Surfsong has an elevator from the parking garage to your unit floor. If for any reason the elevators are out of service, stairs must be taken.
*This property is in a condo complex with neighbors all around. We don't monitor construction or noise from neighbors and this should be taken into consideration when booking.

Starter kits of toiletries are provided to all guests.  
Supplies for the entire length of the stay are not provided. 
Kitchens are stocked with dishes, drinkware, pans and cooking utensils.  
Spices, oil or anything perishable are not stocked.

Best Beach Condo on the beach!

The minute you walk in you see nothing but ocean. Open the slider door and windows and the fresh ocean breeze hits you and the sound of the waves relax you! It's clean, beds are big and comfy. TV's have netflix and cable, shops are close by, pool is nice, spa is hot and it's just a wonderful place to reset from the busy world. WIFI is great!

If you enjoy the sound of the surf, as we do, you will be very happy in this perch above the magnificent coastline. The listing details are all as advertised! Quiet building, sparkling pool, Fletcher Cove beach, , heavenly terrace, were highlights along with a very complete kitchen.

Beautiful beach condo

Perfect condo on the beach -- we didn't want to leave. Spacious and with all the finishing touches of a tasteful relaxing vacation home. Comfortable furniture and beds. Very well stocked kitchen with all the cooking equipment you could need + BBQ. We chose it for the view and it didn't disappoint - spectacular sunsets every night. Very quiet. Lovely pool and hot tub. Short walk to the beach -- and once there you can walk for miles. Several great restaurants within walking distance -- don't miss the Naked Cafe for brunch. We felt very privileged to stay in this lovely condo.

The condo complex is secure with codes that are easily used. It’s all in all truly an excellent place to rent.

We like this place very much!

We stayed almost two months in this very nice condo. It was both a vacation and a working time. We enjoyed the condo and location. Very beautiful sunsets! We want to come here again. Hope that the construction work in the next door condo would be finished soon. The everyday noise was little bit annoying.

Wonderful August 2021 Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay in this unit, first one was July 2017. You can’t beat the ocean sounds and views from being directly on the ocean with this unit. Also the convenience of having an elevator from the garage to the unit is rare along the hilltop ocean units of Solana Beach. . We were happy to see that both walk-in showers in the unit had been totally redone since we were there last. There was also a better supply of towels and they were upgraded, with the exception of the kitchen that only had one dish towel. The unit is comfortable and the master bed mattress is too. We slept really well with the ocean sounds and sea air. The kitchen can definitely use some updating at this point. Pots and pans are old, no storage containers and, sink and faucet should be upgraded. Also fans in Master Bedroom were not functional and should be checked before each stay to make sure they operate, especially in the summer. Ashley at Harcourt was very responsive to initial issues after our arrival including replacing the tv immediately in the master bedroom that wasn’t working. This unit is convenient to all the great things Solana Beach has to offer including many good restaurants within walking distance.

Great views but lacks cleanliness

The location is perfect and the views are amazing. However, upon entering the property for the first time, we discovered a trash bag on a chair, clumps of hair on the rug and dirty showers and kitchen sink. I contacted management and they were very responsive. I cleaned up the messes left behind so they refunded me the cleaning fee. After seeing other reviews with the same issue, I hope a new cleaning company has been hired.

Best Views Ever!

The photos are 100% accurate of the views you get from this property...absolutely the best seat for daily sunsets! The property is otherwise largely as described. The complex is incredibly well kept and all the long-term tenants that we met were very friendly. The property management company was very responsive to our few concerns. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property upon arrival and neither of the 2 supplied room fans worked. The property management company offered to send in a cleaning crew during our stay at our convenience and provided brand new fans that day. We were also surprised to find that the nearest beach access to this property (just north of the tennis courts) has been permanently closed for some time. The listing now accurately reflects that you will have to walk about 5 minutes either north to Fletcher Cove (no stairs to beach) or south to Seascape Surf (stairs). For families heading to the beach with kids/strollers/lots of stuff Fletcher Cove is the easier of the two options and also has public restrooms and a playground.

Perfect location and great place overall. 2 negatives were the cleanliness and parking.

Both showers had hair (gross) and sand in them from the previous guests. Parking is convenient BUT the ceiling is VERY low and I had to take my roof rack off and drag the carrier into a parking spot. I wish the description of the garage stated that the ceiling is low and most SUVs or cars with racks would not fit!! Great location and the condo was awesome with the pool and hot tub. Will stay again soon.

Solana Trip

This is our second stay at this condo and we plan on returning. The views, property, and close proximity to the beach make this a 5 star stay. My wish list for this condo would include a Keurig coffee maker and a portable ac unit for the 2nd bedroom (master has great sea breeze flow). Thanks for a great experience and see you next year!

It was more than we expected! So beautiful 2 balconies right on water. Just perfect. The 2nd bed (queen) is hard and the property has a step down from entry way into living room which didn't work for my daughter's wheelchair, but that is an isolated issue. Only 2 things I would change. Thank you for a great week!

Peaceful Ocean Views

If you are looking for a peaceful beach rental in San Diego area, look no further. We had a wonderful stay for four adults. The condo and the views were so gorgeous we never wanted to leave. We woke up to the sounds of the ocean and had coffee on the balcony overlooking the crashing waves, surfers, and ocean wildlife. Mornings were picture perfect, but were actually surpassed by viewing the unbelievable sunsets from the balcony. The condo is clean, nicely furnished & includes everything you could want... from a wine fridge down to scotch tape. Every time we needed something, we found it in one of the cabinets. Underground parking was convenient and we enjoyed other condo complex amenities, including the pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean. The location is wonderful! If you ever want to leave the balcony and walk directly on the beach, the access point is a short walk from the condo. Numerous restaurants and a CVS are located within a few blocks walk. We especially enjoyed brunch at Beach Grass Cafe. I definitely recommend this property for a peaceful beach stay.
