Looking for a romantic beach getaway in paradise.
Enjoy a beautiful custom beach front 1bedroom/1 bath condo with a spectacular ocean view from the 4th floor directly on Sandy Beach at Sonoran Sea Resort in Puerto Penasco aka: Rocky Point. Great for couples, friends or a romantic getaway. Sleeps 3 with a King in the master bedroom and an Ashley sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy a beverage watching the beautiful colors of the sunset over the ocean, watching the dolphins play. We're only 3.5 hours from Phoenix or Tucson.

Amenities: 3 pools, 2 jacuzzis, swim-up bar, state of the art gym, tennis courts, pickle ball, Ramon’s Restaurant, BBQ area, private WIFI in room, cable TV, fully furnished with pots/pans/kitchenware, convenience/coffee shop, and much more.

Spectacular view

We recently stayed at The Sonoran Sea condo/ resort in Rocky Pointe Mexico. The staff are exceptionally friendly courteous. The grounds are meticulous in the unit that we stayed in was beautiful with a spectacular view very clean, comfortable king size bed, all of the kitchen appliances, washer, and dryer everything that we needed to make our stay feel like home. I would highly recommend the Sonoran see in Rocky point Mexico definitely five stars.

There are so many good things to say about staying at this condo! I booked this stay for me and my wife to celebrate her birthday and it totally exceeded our expectations! Jaymie is such an awesome person, and responds really quick if you have any questions. The location is perfect and the view of the ocean from the condo is amazing!!! The staff at the entire resort were friendly, and being able to walk to Banditos for a few cocktails, eating steak at Garufas, or picking up some pizza at the corner is such a huge plus in my opinion because we didn't have to go far. There was a city wide water shortage, and only one elevator worked, but that is out of the hosts control, so other than that I will definitely be booking another stay in the future!!! So a big shout out and thank you our host, Jaymie!!!

Condo was not ready

When we arrived the condo had not been cleaned and it looked as if it was still occupied with previous guest food and beverages in the refrigerator. The owner had a cleaning crew come in quickly however we were 2 hours past check in time. She did offer to comp us a free night. And she was really apologetic. The cleaning was so so the counters were still not clean and I felt compelled to wash the counters and bathroom down again. Overall the condo is cute and the location is fantastic.

Perfect Location for Circus Mexicus

The condo was perfect for the 2 of us, as we were in town for Circus Mexicus. Sonoran Sea is literally right by Banditos and Changos so we were able to be right near the action. Sandy Beach was more beautiful than we imagined and the pools at the condo were wonderful. The condo was easy to find, the owner was easy to communicate with, and we would gladly rent again in the future. Pros: All of the above. The view is incredible. There is a small market on the premises or another little shop a couple minutes away that each had things to get us by when we didn't want to go into town. The drinks from the carts on the beach were tasty. Cons: taxis cost $20 each way, no matter where you want to go (which is probably on par with the demand for the busy weekend, but we weren't expecting that. If you are looking for TRUE peace and quiet at the resort, be aware the pool bar plays music throughout the day (you may be into that and that's great). We could have used more than 2 washcloths (I looked, but did not ask the owner so there may have been a couple extra I just didn't find).

The property is always a great place to stay. Very well kept and clean...we also appreciated the separation in the 'Adult Only" pools!!!The Unit was very clean and well stocked. We had a great deal of trouble opening the sliding glass door to the patio.

Mexican paradise

This condo was exactly as described. And the location was perfect! Jaymie was very attentive to all my concerns about traveling and any questions I had about the property. Most important thing we packed was beach towels and beach chairs thanks to Jaymie. We're already planning our next trip and will definitely stay here again.

This is a nice little condo. Love having the in unit washer dryer. Beautiful views. Convenient location. Door was a bit tricky to use but we figured it out. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio looking at the ocean

We had a great stay. We had an amazing view of the Sea of Cortez. There were plenty of lounge chairs by the pools. The owner let us know to bring our beach towels as none are provided, so be sure to bring some with you. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. The location was close to everything we needed. It had a little market downstairs and restaurants close by. The only downsides were that there was no shampoo or conditioner provided, but I guess that was my fault for not asking. Also, the door lock was a bit tricky to use. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we'd definately stay again.

Very accommodating and most of what i needed. I had to bake a cake and there wasnt a cake pan or cookie sheet. It had some spices and oilehich was nIce to have!
