Welcome to Sunrise Village 101, the perfect rustic beach cottage awaits! Sunrise Village is a small community of condos located right on the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of Gulf Shores. It is convenient to restaurants and shops, and directly across the street from Waves grocery. The sugar white sands that the area is known for are just steps away from your doorstep and there is a shower right outside of the units to wash the sand off. The complex has a heated pool and deck area for sunbathing. This complex has everything you need for a perfect getaway!

Sunrise Village 101 is a perfect little getaway for you and your family. With two bedrooms, it is a comfortable stay for up 6 people. Linens are fresh and ready for you to relax into. This condo is Gulf front and has an amazing Gulf View. New appliances, comfortable furnishings, a fantastic retro record player, and much more! Sit back and relax on the balcony and enjoy watching the waves roll in. Dine in or dine out, either way you are covered with a fully stocked kitchen you will be able to cook up your favorite seafood platters. You and your gang will be sure to enjoy the Gulf Coast when you come to stay in this condo!

Sunrise Village is a smoke-free complex. There is a small designated area for smoking, smoking anywhere else on the premises will leave you subject to fines.

Compact vehicles are preferred at this location. Larger vehicles may have issues parking.
Vehicle Registration Tags are required and may be purchased upon arrival or by contacting our office directly. Parking is assigned based on the unit a second parking pass can not be guaranteed.
Linens are provided however, please bring your own beach towels
The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, 1 trash bag per trash can, and 1 roll of paper towels.

Perfect spot on the beach.

Nothing fancy, but it met all our needs. Loved being in the end unit right on the beach. You can’t beat the view! Highly recommend Beach House Kitchen restaurant across the street and S & S Seafood also across the street.

Very comfortable, clean and with all the amenities but not glitzy. An old-time type of beach apartment that's hard to find nowadays. #101 is up front on the Gulf on the first floor with just a few steps down to the beach. Open the sliding glass doors to the private front porch and you can hear the ocean throughout the apartment. So relaxing1

Amazing view but unit needs updating

You'd be hard pressed to find a better view of the beach than this condo. I mean......it's amazing. With that said, the condo really does need a major refresh.

Very old but location is nice

The location is great, right on the beach. The balcony looking onto the beach is beautiful but I wouldn’t stay for a week in this place. It’s very outdated and could use some upgrades. It also had a lot of stuff left from previous renters that weren’t cleaned up. We weren’t staying long so we didn’t contact the host but they did tell us to if it wasn’t cleaned properly.

The only reason I gave the communication with property manager 3 stars is because I called a day or two before we left (12 hour drive) to check and make sure everything was okay and there was no answer and I emailed and never got an answer BUT when we arrived everything was fine no issues at all and check in was super easy! The property location exceeded our expectations and we absolutely loved our trip! It was so nice being close to the beach with little boys so we could walk back to the room no problem when they got cold or tired. Would definitely stay again and again here! Thank you for sharing your space with us and making the trip the best 4th birthday trip for our little!

Best view of the ocean anywhere in Gulf Shores

You wont find a better view of the ocean than what this little condo provides no where else on Gulf Shores and the ocean view from the balcony was just wonderful to sit on and watch the sunrise and sunset every morning and we even spotted some dolphins . Just know ahead of time it is tiny in square footage , has a vintage vibe in the living area , the main bedrooms bed was much more comfortable than the other but having a tv in each room was a great bonus . Only thing I would change would be to change out the living room wicker couch and chairs to me it appeared very vintage and was uncomfortable .

Needs to be remodeled by someone with an eye. Looks to have had repairs, painting by an ameuteur. Needs a keyless entry. Key is a pain. Dacore is bad. Chairs stained. Dirty. Great beach.

Bedrooms small with size of beds that are in there. Door would be nice if updated to a keycode type. Outside deck needs something under upper deck so people on lower deck doesn't get showered by sand and other debris when people are moving around up there. Other than that great to walk out right onto the beach and have fun.

This is a great location and a decent price, but there comes a time where you need to make some changes. The furniture is old and dirty. Doors will not open or close properly. And it needs a good deep cleaning. Probably won’t come back for a while.

Sunrise Village is wonderful

We loved staying at S7nrise Village. We were in one of the end units, facing the beach. There are only 4 units that actually face the beach, and these are the best. Although the condo was older, and not fancy, we loved it. It was very relaxed and homey. Right out the front door, you go down a short flight of stairs, straight to the sands of the beach. The only thing that was not our favorite was the pool. Although it was very clean, it was so small you could barely turn around, so you couldn't really swim comfortably if there were many people there. Also, the only chairs were metal, so they were very hot to sit on. But overall, we loved the property and would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Sunrise village! It was everything we had expected. We had a 2 year old and it was her first trip and it was the perfect place to stay especially with children. The beach area wasn't too crowded and it was right on the sand so it was very convenient with nap and potty time. The room was very clean and had plenty of towels, wash clothes, etc. Also every morning and evenings we could see Dolphins while sitting on our front porch so the view was perfect. The only down side was that the second bedroom didn't seem to get a/c in the room and the condo sleeps 6 so I feel like it should of came with two parking passes since most cars only fit 5 but it only came with one and once we arrive to check in we got charged extra for having two vechiles. But overall our trip was great and I would definitely recommend to stay in this condo.

Spring Break 2021

We’ve visited this property many times in the past few years due to location & being right on the beach and have always been pleased, but it’s time for an update on the interior & some deep-deep cleaning & repairs. The linens were stained & smelled stale, the couch/chair cushions & arms of couch/chair were worn & stained/dirty, bathroom door wouldn’t lock, tile cracked & pillows/bedding needs to be replaced. It just didn't feel clean & relaxing at all. Balcony view is great, but the chairs on the balcony need to be replaced or repainted because they were dirty as well. At this point, I would not recommend unless updates were made.

Great location but disappointing inside.

I feel like the reviews on this place were grievously misleading. Yes, the location is fantastic. Yes, it's wonderful to be right on the beach. But that is truly the only thing positive we have to say about this place. There were just four of us, two adults and our two kids, and we knew it would be small but it was WAY too small for four, so I'm not sure where the "can sleep six comfortably" comes from. No closet space, which means your luggage has nowhere to be but in the common living area. Everything felt dirty and sticky, no matter how many times I swept the floors. The furniture is SO UNCOMFORTABLE and disgusting. The couch has a sheen of dead skin cells and years of other people's sunscreen and sweat. Ladies, there's only enough hot water to shave one leg, not both, so choose wisely. Gentleman, this place is great if you like rustic camping. The reviews boasted a "comfortable balcony", but for four people, it was just not comfortable. There was mold on the ceilings and a dingy smell of old urine when we arrived. Ripped kitchen curtains and cracked and broken floor tiles. We loved the beach, we will never stay at this property again.

We always enjoy the beach and love the location of Sunrise Village and of course the patio right on the beach. Too bad we chose the same time as Hurricane Ida did to visit Gulf Shores. We had to cut our trip short one day.
