Tarrytown Colonial Farmhouse with Resort Pool

Welcome to our beautiful property in the heart of Tarrytown, less than 2 miles west of Downtown, Zilker Park, University of Texas and the State Capitol. Pedal one of our bikes, swim in the private pool, relax in the manicured garden, stroll the beautiful tree-lined neighborhood or hop in a rideshare to enjoy Austin.

We are located just down the street from Westenfield Park, a lovely neighborhood park with a trailhead connecting miles of cycling and running trails from Lake Austin to downtown to Town Lake and Zilker Park.

Built in 1941 as a charming colonial farmhouse, our home was expanded and updated into a sophisticated residence complete with resort pool and multiple outdoor living spaces. Situated on a giant corner lot under a stunning canopy of 100+ year old live oak trees, the house offers 3,400 square feet of spacious enjoyment.

Two outdoor spaces provide expanded living on the property. A private courtyard and manicured garden offers a peaceful venue for relaxation under a spectacular canopy of trees. A separate outdoor entertainment area provides a private resort pool, turf play area, firepit, BBQ grill and covered porch with furniture.

The first floor features a private master suite wing complete with a relaxing library and luxurious bath oasis. The other wing is open and bright with walls of windows allowing abundant natural light for terrific entertaining. The living room and dining room are adjacent to an enormous chef's kitchen appointed with high quality appliances and cookware. A central island anchors the kitchen and is an ideal gathering space for hosting a large group. Between the kitchen and dining room, up to 12 guests may sit comfortably.

On the second floor, three large bedrooms are accompanied by two full baths with double vanities and shower/tub combinations.

A two-car garage is available for secured parking and plenty of parking is available in the large driveway and along the curb.

The great ruptured Achilles respite

The property was fantastic. Our adult son had surgery and we flew in to help out. The amenities were great. We ate in every night, played games and hung out by the pool. I highly recommend their lovely home.

Tarrytown Charm

Located on a tree-lined street in Tarrytown, this home is warm, inviting, and comfortable. There is plenty of room to spread out and it is very close to all of Austin's greatest attractions. Beautiful home and perfect space!

We rented this home so we could be close to family. The house was spacious and exactly what we needed, with four separate bedrooms so everyone could have their individual space. The kitchen is amazing, as it opens up to the living/dining area for a full open-floor concept. Would absolutely love to stay here in the future!

Exceptional Tarrytown home

We stayed for a weekend at this exceptional Tarrytown home with my family of five and another family of four. Kids all under the age of seven. The home is immaculate and filled with modern charm. Our hosts were extraordinarily nice and kept a wonderful home. They take all the steps of a five star hotel to ensure your stay is comfortable. They have children, so the home can be very child friendly while also being modern enough to accommodate groups of friends as well. For those unfamiliar with Austin, Tarrytown is the ideal location in the city for a home. It's close to downtown, UT, and easily navigateable anywhere else in the city. The homes in this neighborhood are loaded with charm. Enjoy!

Just as pictured, great location!

Our stay at your home in Austin was more than we ever imagined. All we wanted was a safe, comfortable place with more room and privacy than a hotel room. We enjoyed much more than this and were pleasantly surprised at every part of our stay. First of all, the neighborhood was so quiet we could not tell we were so close to Downtown. The neighborhood and park down the street are excellent walking spots. We used the bicycles in the garage to ride to the lake about a mile away and enjoy the trails in the neighborhood. Second, the house itself was simply beautiful. The place has the charm of an old historic home with an updated modern interior. It was welcoming, relaxing and spacious. There was room to accommodate everyone in my group and I still found areas to sneak off for a quiet nap. The kitchen and living area is a wonderful place to gather and cook meals. The next time we need another stay in Austin we will definitely consider your lovely home. Thanks for having us!!
