This house totally fit the bill for our family get together. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and lounging areas - inside and out. We would definitely stay here again!
no complains, place is spacious and well furnished.has everything you need for a large group with plenty of entertainment options and places to hang out.
It's a big house perfect for our group and walking distance to Stowe breweries and restaurants. We love coming here year after year. Management is great as well. Definitely stay here if you can.
The home was amazing! it offered a great location walking distance to breweries and restaurants. The home had a large yard with plenty of seating and outdoor activities provided. The interior of the home was also spacious and allowed for a variety of gathering spaces. We enjoyed the screened in porch, window seat in the dining area, the media room above the garage & the lower level with the pool table, sauna, ping pong and darts. One of the most appreciated aspects of the home was the acoustics the floors and walls were well insulated so kids could sleep while adults socialized in the evenings and adults could sleep in while kids played in the early morning. Making this a great group home!We hope to stay again!
House really accommodates a large group. My family of 11 were very comfortable. Bonus room was a hit with young adults. Loved the restaurants. Would stay here again.
Our large group had a great stay. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out. The basement and 3rd floor were huge hits with the kids. Very short ride to Stowe. The welcome basket but the icing on the cake!
This is a fantastic property conveniently located to a great ski area! The perfect place for a large family to get together, relax and enjoy everything that Stowe has to offer. We had a fantastic experience. The property is well furnished, very cozy with plenty of space.

Thanks so much! We’re so glad you enjoyed your time in Stowe. Hope to have you again & happy new year!
Stowe is our favorite town and ski resort.House was well appointed for skiers and non skiers. Great week as it snowed everyday. Property manager had the driveway plowed before we left for the mountain everyday as well. Thanks for a memorable week.
This beautiful home is truly a haven for a large group. So much space for everyone with cozy New England charm around every corner. The kitchen is large and accommodating, the many bedrooms are clean spacious, and the deck and yard space are huge and private. The location of this property is excellent and central to every amazing thing Stowe has to offer. I would highly recommend this property and would book it again!
Our family (adult children, grandchildren) gathered for a late summer birthday celebration. The property is on a hill, on a quiet street with an expansive front yard - a beautiful, well-appointed house with plenty of space for our crew of four adults and four children. The owner went above and beyond all expectations helping to recover an item left after check-out. Thank-you, Linda!
The house is lovely and located in an incredible setting. Lots of outdoor space which makes entertaining and just hanging out perfect. We absolutely loved our stay at this very large and beautiful house.
The only downside was that the dishwasher did not work, the house could be somewhat cleaner and the back indoor porch screen was torn and unsightly. But, honestly, even given these things we loved the house and highly recommend it.
We had 14 people stay, 8 adults and 6 children. There was lots of room for the children to play and rooms to accommodate varied sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well equipped but I always travel with my own knives and favorite cooking pot. We arrived to find snow on the ground which the kids loved. The next couple of days it all melted and we had gorgeous weather for the eclipse. I would definitely stay again if the family decides to revisit the area.
Had a great ski weekend at this Stowe house with some friends. In better times I couldn't imagine a better location with it's proximity to Alchemist (unfortunately only open for pick up) and a quick ride to the mountain, and a fantastic view from the deck to boot. One thing that was disappointing was the fact that the oven was broken - the owner was very kind/apologetic and I am guessing this will be remedied, but it presented a difficult wrinkle when we had planned on cooking every meal (for obvious pandemic reasons). All in a great weekend though.

Great Vacation house in Stowe Vermont!
The members of our family live all over the country and we enjoy spending time together! So we meet somewhere fun at least once a year. This year it was Stowe and this house was great for it. There are 3 young children and 8 adults and there was room for all of us. The lay-out worked well for our gang too. There is one quirky thing - no bathroom upstairs in the "second master bedroom" suite above the garage. Those folks have to go down a flight or two of stairs to get to one. And although the oven stopped working on our last night, we still really enjoyed our stay. The property management reacted immediately to this problem. So you can see, even with a few minor glitches the house was very good. And we would definitely rent it again!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your vacation & thanks so much for your wonderful review! Yes, the oven......unfortunately we couldn't fix it during your stay, but a new oven is being installed shortly. And I appreciate your comment regarding the bedroom over the garage - proximity to the bathroom is a downside to an otherwise "peaceful oasis", but all other bedrooms are very close to a bath.
Thank you again & we hope to welcome you back in the future!
My family of 13 (7 adults and 6 children ages 3-9) just returned from an amazing stay at this expansive home in Stowe over the 4th of July and the Stowe Hot Air Balloon Festival week. The house is very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with beds galore! The master bedroom and bath were especially pretty.
We thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong, pool table, bumper pool table, and the huge yard and the fire pit. The whole family spent hours outside playing baseball and football, corn hole, soccer, and frisbee with all the sports equipment in the garage. The kitchen was very well-equipped and we especially appreciated the plastic dishes/cups for the children. It was apparently unseasonably hot that week, but there were lots of fans for the bedrooms to help with sleeping. The AT&T cell phone reception was super spotty in the house, but we found that a short walk up the driveway the service improved.
Stowe and the surrounding areas are beautiful and we ran out of days to do all we hoped to do! We all rented bikes and rode extensively on the Recreational Trail, went fly-fishing with a guide, visited the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, and watched how cider, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and maple syrup were made, We sampled beer at the Alchemist and the Von Trappe brewery and rode the gondola at Mt. Mansfield. The Stowe 4th of July parade on Main Street was such fun with free popcorn, snocones, pie-eating contest, mini-marathon, and candy thrown from all the parade vehicles.
We enjoyed breakfast at the Butler's Pantry and dinner at Harrison's. In Burlington the food at The Shanty on the Shore was excellent, especially the lobster.
The highlight of the trip was the hot air balloon ride that my 3 adult children took over Lake Champlain with Above Reality. The pilot, Jeff, was excellent, very cautious, and obviously enjoyed flying and everything about hot air balloons.
At the end of the week we all got to experience 23 hot air balloons taking off at the nearby Stoweflake Resort at the Hot Air Balloon Festival. It was so beautiful, and though the lines were too long for the grandchildren to go up in a tethered balloon, it was amazing to watch!
Obviously, we had a grand time! My grandson told me to just say, "Amazing!" All the 5 star reviews are well-deserved, and the owner Liz was very helpful and responsive. We highly recommend it all!

About the host
Hosted by Liz Fariello
We are a family of 5 from New Jersey. Ralph & I first started enjoying the Stowe/Waterbury area almost 20 years ago when we got engaged. I’m a proud UVM grad & never fell out of love with this part of Vermont. And when I told Ralph about a B&B I’d always wanted to visit in Waterbury on Rt 100, he knew exactly how he wanted to propose. Since then we’ve come back many, many times to celebrate anniversaries, reunions & share the fun with our 3 kids. The summer is our favorite time up here, but of course no place is better in winter than Stowe.
Why they chose this property
When we decided to take the property plunge, we knew exactly where we wanted to be in Stowe, and fortunately, we found our home! We are within easy biking distance to the Stowe Rec Path, a few minutes to the mountain, a few minutes to Stowe Village, several restaurants & shops within 1 mile, but still an idyllic, peaceful location.
What makes this property unique
You'll feel like you are away from it all, but it's all right there. The property is in the heart of stowe - located in between Stowe Village and Mount Mansfield & Spruce Speak (Stowe Skiing Resort). There are so many restaurants, breweries (e.g. The Alchemist is right down the hill) and more closely situated near the home, yet the three acres and pastoral setting let you unwind and feel like you're away from it all when you want to be.
