Modern 3 bed apartment. 3 min walk from ski lifts and trail walks - I&D 2stars

The apartment was built in 2016 and is the perfect location for active skiers or those looking to relax. It sleeps 8 people comfortably with 3 spacious bedrooms; 1 kingsize, 2 twin rooms, single bunk beds in a separate enclosed area, two bathrooms with showers, an open plan living space comprising of kitchen/dinning/lounging area (with a double sofa bed for additional guests if required - making a maximum of 10 persons), two private balconies with stunning views, and a secure basement storage facility for your luggage, ski equipment/boots/bikes, and a parking space. (Towels are now included)

There is free 'wifi', a widescreen TV in the living area with a Wii Games Console, Apple TV, and a selection of books and games.

The apartment is located in La'Chapelle d'Abondance which is known as "the gateway" to the stunning 600km Portes du Soleil ski range. The apartment is a scenic 1 hours drive from Geneva airport, and only a 3 minute walk from the Cret Beni ski lift which offers the perfect amount of slopes for all levels, especially those with young families (due to the ski school access), but also challenging enough for stronger skiers/boarders looking for less crowded slopes than Morzine or Les Gets. There is a ski school located in the village for those looking to get the best tuition.

Skiers/boarders with more experience can easily gain access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski range, and the free shuttle bus that runs every 15 mins will take you to the gondola at the top of the village (La Panthiaz), or onto neighbouring Chatel. From there you can gain access via ski lifts to endless amounts of amazing ski runs on the Portes du Soleil and in the summer this area becomes a mountain bikers and walkers paradise.

In the evenings La'Chapelle d'Abondance has a variety of choice when it comes to dining. There are some truly stunning restaurants and bars, and even a local cinema - all within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Chatel also has an excellent Spa called Forme d'O.

Pictures don’t do it justice. Very spacious and roomy enough for a family of 5-7. Kitchen is small and basic but well equipped. Only thing missing is a washing machine. Highly recommend.

Spacious accommodation

We happy with the flat, it slept all 7 of us very comfortably and we were 7 adults. The rooms are very spacious and plenty of storage spaces so no need to live out of the suitcases. Bathrooms are also a good size. Kitchen well equipped and clean and tidy. Water for showers is plentiful and hot, the flat is lovely and warm after a hard day skiing. It is located close to shops and ski hire provider and also walking distance to the local ski area. I definitely recommend this accommodation, the owner is very helpful and responsive. Will come back again!

Grandes chambres bien équipées salles de bain fonctionnelles

Attention : la photo envoyée par le propriétaire ne correspond pas à la situation réelle de l’appartement qui certes est côté montagne mais PAS du côté indiqué sur la photo donc assez grande proximité avec la route très passante notamment pour 2 chambres Cuisine minuscule pour 10 personnes très peu de vaisselle : pas de saladier pas de plat pas d’égouttoir à salade Arrivée gérée par une agence qui ne nous a proposé qu’une passage le lendemain de notre arrivée (dimanche) a 8h30 puis totalement absente le jour du départ l’agence ne nous a pas du tout contactés

appartement très agréable, idéalement situé près des pistes du crêt Béni ( 10 minutes skis aux pieds avec nos jeunes enfants). chambres et literie confortables. équipement complet pour bébé. Résidence récente très calme en parfait état et facile d'accès en voiture. ascenseur bien pratique pour la manutention des skis. bonne communication par téléphone avec le gérant. Tout est parfaitement conforme à la description, cependant la kitchenette est un peu juste pour une famille nombreuse, Un lave linge serait un plus ! Fijn appartement goede bedden

Heerlijk om. In porte de soleil te kunnen skiën . Meestal beginnen we in linga ruim 10 minuten rijden. Voor beginners is cret beni ook prima. Wanneer je via chapelle naar chatel skiet is dat erg mooi maar wel veel trage sleepliften dus dan ski je een stuk minder (poken en weinig steile pistes). Vanuit linga of pré la joux naar Zwitserland skiën is super!

Début compliqué mais au final agréable

Lors du checkin le gerant nous a annoncé que le chauffage ne marchait pas mais que tout serait réglé dans la journée. Ce ne fut le cas que 3 jours plus tard…. Un chauffage electrique d’appoint dans la piece commune (apporté par le gerant après notre insistence) nous a permis de tenir pendant les 3 premiers jours (-10 degres la nuit et 5 degres la journée)

C'est un appartement très bien équipé avec 3 vraies chambres. La localisation permet de profiter de la Suisse, du Lac Leman pour la baignade à Evian et les Portes du Soleil pour les randonnées. Merci beaucoup

This property is uniquely situated. During winter or summer time everything is right on your doorstep. It's also perfect for young families who don't want to hustle and bustle of busy towns like Chatel and Morzine. Our family love it and we're sure yours will too.

3 minutes walk from riverside trails. 3 minutes walk to the Cret Beni ski lift. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, with Chatel centre a 10 minute bus ride away. The village centre is only a 7 minute walk, where you can access lovely restaurants and bars.
