Beautiful condo just outside of downtown- easily accessible- great host- beautiful view from the patio. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed Arches National park both days.
Location was good. We were very conveniently located between Arches and Canyonlands Parks. The neighborhood seemed nice and quiet. The rental had plenty of space and most amenities. Beds were very comfortable. It wasn’t a huge issue, but there wasn’t a pizza pan or cookie sheet available.(we do frozen pizzas). Also, the outdoor gas grill needed attention. The grates were very rusty, we opted to not use.Overall we were happy with the rental and would consider renting again if we ever came back to the area.
Family spring break trip to Moab. Some hiking and mountain biking. Great location, just outside of town. Quiet and easy access to the trails off Sand Flats Road. Garage was a really nice feature for storing the bikes and bike boxes. Plenty of kitchen necessities to handle basic meals.
The condo/twin home is modern and looks to be nicer than most Moab homes. It is very nice for any size group that needs 2 queens. Only issue would be that it is on the far side of Moab from Arches/Canyonland, but it is really only 10 minutes further than locations on the side of Moab closest to Arches. I would still rent the place if my destination is Arches. Great Moab rental!

Perfect location
We enjoyed our week at this property. It was clean and homey. The location is central to the state and national parks in the area. The bed was comfortable and we were glad for a lovely place to relax and cook dinner after long days of hiking. We would stay again.

Lovely Moab stay
This was a perfect condo for our family of four. We were able to cook in every night with the grill. It was so accessible and we all had plenty of room. The owners are great to work with and even let us extend our stay an extra night last minute!
We had a comfortable stay at Cataract Condo. The unit was nicely decorated and clean with everything we needed. A good pick if you’re spending time in Moab!
The condo was a great launching spot for exploring Arches and Canyonlands, rock climbing and canyoneering nearby, and checking out the coffee shops and great restaurants in Moab. Beds were comfortable and kitchen adequately equipped. We recommend!!
Condo is very clean and comfortable. Sitting in the back gazing at the stars and mountains after a long day of hiking was wonderful. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms and closets are spacious. My son took me to his favorite place on earth (Moab) for my 67th birthday. We hiked arches, dead horse point, Canyonlands and moonflower park. We drove Shaffer's Pass and Fins and Things (you need 4 wheel drive). Truly a pleasurable trip. The condo is very close to downtown Moab and the parks. Thank you Jennifer!
Simple, nice, relaxing, great view, and quiet.
The only issue was the neighbors smoking and it coming through the vents or somewhere. Great stay otherwise.
Exactly as described. Fast communication with owners

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Taylor
This is a small family owned property that is owned by brother and sister Matt and Jennifer. Jennifer lives in Moab with her husband and is in charge of 3 small children while also running the day to day affairs of Cataract House. Her husband is involved in the outdoor recreation business in Moab, and as a family they spend lots of times outdoors. We consider ourselves a very well rounded outdoor family and you will be able to find them on the river both in rafts and paddleboards, Jeeping, hiking remote canyons, or just playing at the park with their kids. Matt and his wife live in Northern Utah and spend lots of time traveling back and forth to play in this spectacular country. We love Moab and we want you to have the best possible experience you can have in this great place. That was our goal in creating Cataract House, a place where you could come play and be comfortable; a place you will want to keep coming back to time and time again.
Why they chose this property
We wanted to create a place to stay in Moab that we would want to stay at. A place that has everything that we would need to enjoy this spectacular area. We call Moab home, and we wanted to create a place that you could also call home while visiting this area. We picked the best mattresses we could find and paired them with soft and comfortable linens. We have stocked the laundry room with soap and provided a washer and dryer so, if needed, you could do laundry. On the back patio you will find a great barbecue grill for grilling up some steaks while you watch the sunset. We have created a place we would want to stay at and by doing so hope it will keep many of you coming back to visit year after year.
