Great property. Kitchen and BBQ right off deck. Hot tub was super relaxing. Quiet and comfortable. Gas fireplace makes front room inviting with plenty of couch space. Already thinking of our next Sunriver stay.
We had my husband, myself, our grown kids and their kids all staying together at this home and while we spent a lot of time away from the house it was a perfect place to come “home” to and gather. Plenty of room for all, entertaining things for the kids to do and the hot tub felt great! The owner is very nice and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family trip to Sunriver
Met grandparents in Sunriver, traveling from Colorado. This house is a great fit for a large family and close to everything. Well stocked and comfortable. My kids had a great time in the loft area with toys and games. Thank you for a great stay.

Thank you, happy we could provide a place for the whole family to get together.
We arrived on Friday evening and stayed through Sunday morning. This house is well furnished, with plenty of extras in the kitchen for cooking and baking. It even had some board games, foosball and an air hockey table! The house was very clean and spacious. We will be coming back! Thank you!

EVERYTHING WE NEEDED
This house was so wonderful for our family. And they have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. They even got us a turkey roasting pan for out thanksgiving meal! The fooze ball and air hockey provided endless entertainment for everyone in our group. It was rainy/snowy while we were in Sunriver and the house provided a comfortable refuge especially with the hot tub. We will definitely come back when we can enjoy the trails in the summer and the snow activities in the winter.

Sunriver is a great place to spend a holiday, thank you for choosing our home spend yours.
My family of 5 enjoyed our stay even with COVID limitations. Jonathan informed me early that the previous renters were rough with the house and that they were doing extra cleaning. We arrived to a very clean home. Kitchen provided the essentials needed for a family. Nice bbq, hot tub and good location, close to pool and village. Bikes were nice to have, a bit used but good enough for our purposes. Good communication and good stay. Would certainly rent from Jonathan again. Thanks!

Sunriver Five Bedroom is Fine
This is a decent five bedroom home that accommodates more than 12 people. We didn't realize there was no air conditioning, so that was a bit rough in July. They have updated some things like new counters, but they put them over older, small cabinets. It was a fine house for the cost, but it is showing it's age and wear a bit.

Thank you for your stay. Our home is older and there are still updates that we have planned and will continue to work on. We did several interior updates in 2015, this year we focused on the exterior and took care of siding that needed addressing, gave it a fresh coat of paint and stained the desks. Like any home, it is a work in progress but we will continue to make improvements. We did choose to keep the cabinets that are original to the home, they keep with the rustic Sunriver cabin feel of our home, just couldn't bring ourselves to tear them out.

Loved the house and location! Great communication!
We had 10 adults in this house. Everyone felt like we had room to hang out and separate space to watch football!!! This worked well for all of us ;) The home was decorated for Christmas - thank you so much! House was well equipt, clean and maintained. I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't there. The SHARC passes were icing on the cake. The tubing hill was right down the road and so much fun. We all highly recommend this property and the owners. Thanks for sharing your home and helping us all make wonderful memories!

Thank you, so happy to hear that you were able to enjoy your Christmas stay with your family and that you got to ride the tube hill in the Christmas snow.
House comfortable but could use some updates.
Curtain rods prone to falling off.
Hot tub lid impossibly heavy in tight space requiring two people to open/close it.
Decks need maintenance.
Cruiser bikes provided, but chains kept derailing.
Bathroom soap & shampoos would be appreciated. We could have used more dishwasher pods.

Great place to Stay
We visited in August for the Eclipse with a few friends, the home owners were very nice and accommodating. Everything was well stocked and instructions were easy to understand. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Washer and dryer were available inside the rental. Layout was very nice with two bathrooms downstairs and one upstairs. Two televisions and the nice gas/propane fireplace to take the chill off as it cooled down nicely at night. The hot tub had a few jets that were not working but that did not ruin our enjoyment in the tub it was wonderful and we were happy to be able to use it especially after going out hiking, thank you for that. We really enjoyed the deer that ventured out back right up to the deck, they visited multiple times!! There is also a market and some other shops/restaurant just down the road.

Great layout for multiple families
The three rooms downstairs and bunk rooms with family room upstairs provided a nice flow for our three families. It's not huge, but well laid out. We were there over the HOTTEST three days, and the house cooled off amazingly well overnight. If you're into old school Sunriver properties, this is for you. Lots of wood, vaulted ceilings, the classic upstairs loft. Some thoughtful updates have been made so you get the feel of the old school house with modern comforts. Location is very convenient to get to 97, the Village and SHARC. There's no garage, but they do have a shed that we were able to lock up our mountain bikes. Just something to know if you're bringing a lot of gear. Everyone in our group was of course dreaming about buying a Sunriver house, and we all agreed something like this is what we would want.

Needs updating
Our stay was ok, house needs some updates, like new towels, they looked old and washed out, all kitchen appliances and utensils really used up. Water tub wAs 90 degrees upon arrival, and would each night go back to same 90 degrees when not used and take hours to warm up. Pillows were very stained only covers were some what clean. Kids bunk beds had lots of crumbs upon our arrival, so linens were not changed. Grill was not clean. Dryer took 3x90 minutes to dry clothes

We are sorry to hear that your stay was not what you had hoped. We do encourage all of our guests to let us know if there is an issue during their stay so we can get it addressed. We do have a 24 hour service for the hot tub whose number is provided to all of our guests, along with our house keeping service's number. We have contacted them to address the hot tub issue now that it has been brought to our attention. The dryer has also been checked and there was no issue to be found so it is working properly. We have made several updates to our home within the last year, we are sorry if they did not meet expectations. Our house keeping service does change and clean all linens after each stay and checks the overall serviceability of our home after each stay. We do strive to make our home a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable house for our guests to spend their vacation time with friends and family. Unfortunately several items in our home were found to be tampered with after this group had left.
Check-in was smooth, and we had plenty of room for the five of us. The location provided easy access to the Sunriver Village and to travel to Mt. Bachelor. Thank you Jonathan for responding quickly when we had any issues.
We really enjoyed this rental. We loved the design of the house and the skylights. It was super cozy near the fireplace and the kids loved the stairs to the play zone upstairs. There were plenty of comfy spots to sleep and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. It was about a 10 minute walk to Fort Rock Park. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

About the host
Hosted by Jonathan Scheirman
We are a family that has fallen in love with Central Oregon and Sunriver! We have been visiting the region for years and decided that the time was right for us to buy our own place. Sunriver has so much to offer for a young and active family like ours that it makes it the perfect place for us enjoy and explore all that Central Oregon has to offer.
Why they chose this property
We had looked at several properties in Sunriver and then we found this house. It needed some work, but the layout was just what we were looking for. We wanted a house that was not so big that you would get lost in it and never be able to find any of your family to spend time with them, but one that had ample space and a layout to accommodate different activities. We wanted a home that we could have room to grow into and still be able to have friends and family join us as we vacation. I believe we have found that house, and we hope you feel the same too.
