Lovely beachfront 2 BR/2BA condo. Gated community - Pool, Wifi, AC

Seven Seas #3, main level, pool side unit with full ocean view. Seven Seas Condominiums is a small condominium complex located in the quiet beach community of South Akumal, just two and half miles south of Akumal proper.



Guests of Seven Seas enjoy a large beachside swimming pool with chaise lounges for relaxing in the sun. Each unit has a private patio area and is just a few steps from the sandy beach and water's edge.



Seven Seas #3 is full two bedroom condominium with fully equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for six and living area. From the living area access the pool side patio. The unit faces the ocean and has full bright views of the gardens and sea. Guests also enjoy ocean views from both bedrooms and access to the poolside patios.



The master bedroom is spacious. Furnished with king bed, private sitting area, writing desk with ocean view, en suite bath and air conditioning. The guest bedroom is furnished with two single beds which can be made to one king to accommodate couples or families. This bedroom also enjoys an ocean view and has private bath and is air conditioned. There is also a queen size inflatable air bed available for US$25/night to accomodate a 5th guest.



Another great feature at Seven Seas 3 is that it has ramp access all the way from the car parking area into the condo, for those who are looking for ease of mobility in and out of the unit.

Quiet Beach Holiday

We loved our time at Akumal Sur. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a very relaxing time. We enjoyed snorkelling every other day, and the pool was wonderful. We ordered groceries online, and rented a car to drive to Puerto Adventuras for groceries. There is so much to see and do in this region, cenotes, ruins, beaches. Renting a car is a must as taxis are quite expensive. The staff at the property were the BEST. Miguel made us feel right at home and was kind and helpful. Our kids loved it here and we would absolutely come back again.

Beautiful location and roomy condo

By far, we absolutely loved our cleaner "Dacie" and manager "Miguel" ...so helpful and friendly. The condo was nice and clean, but needed a bit of updating. Mostly the master bedroom's sheets/towels. The kitchen was well-stocked, but the toaster didn't work! The weather was gorgeous, seeing Tulum and Cenote Azul were amazing. A bit reefy out front in the ocean but lots of paddleboards and kayaks to get out there..it was private and very quiet and had a sparkling clean pool and groundskeeper!! It was the perfect place to stay for 10 days and enjoy the turquoise water and beach.

Reviewer Comments: We have visited Yucatan mexico many times since the 80's and have always liked Akumal especially now when most of this province has been turned into HUGE resorts. This had been the nicest vacation rental we have stayed in. Largest 2BR 2 bath by far. Lovely furnishings and decor and just steps from pool and beach. Very quiet and peaceful yet just a short drive from great restaurants in Akumal Nord. Staff very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up!Visited the newly opened Tulum Airport. Looks awesome and will be a welcome alternative for visiting this area.

The condo is well maintained and the staff is awesome! My only recommendation would be to put a new mattress pad on the king bed. We ate at several restaurants, and our favorite was Taco Maya in the Pueblo. You can’t go wrong with Seven Seas. Too bad that the sargassum has become so invasive, but the efforts to keep the beach clean are commendable...the crews work so hard every day!

The condo was located directly on the beach of Akumal Sur with direct access to the sea. We enjoyed using the kayaks and snorkeled at the reef. After the salt water activities, we could take a shower in the garden and jumped into the beautiful pool. An as a highlight, we could watch Turtles coming to the beach for nesting activities. Just wonderful!The condo itself did offer all the amenities which are needed for a relaxed stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for meal preparation an dining. We did both, either cooking in the kitchen, and also went out for dinner in the restaurants in Akumal. The two bedrooms were nice and comfortable , one equipped with a king-sized bed, the other with two single beds. Bioth rooms were aiirconditioned. The staff was really nice. Special thanks to Miguel, who helped us with the issues of our rental car. Many thanks, Miguel! You were a great support.

Dad has trouble with knees so this place was absolutely ideal. No steps. Ocean front. And pool side. It was beautifullly decorated in a Mexican traditional style. (They loved it!!!! You’ll need transportation to get anywhere but the service was stellar. Miguel lived up to the reputation from previous reviews. Thank you for allowing Us to share this magnificent place. Another feather for Akumal rentals.

Super happy with this condo

We are in the unit now, and unfortunately we have to leave the day after tomorrow. We absolutely love it here. The condo and the grounds are clean and well maintained, and the onsite staff are delightful. We like that we're close to town but not so close that we have to deal with lots of people. We usually rent a house, but this time we decided to save some money and rent a condo instead; and we are very happy with that decision. We were a little nervous that there would be a lot of noisy people around, but it is absolutely quiet here. The pool is great for our kids, and the snorkeling right out the back door is fun for the whole family. A washer/dryer in the unit would be a great upgrade, but we knew there wasn't going to be one here so I can't say I'm disappointed about that. I would highly recommend this condo.

Reviewer Comments: Very convenient and spacious apartment on ground floor, right in front of the swimming pool and couple of steps from sandy beach and rocky sea. The Sargasso arrived already mid April this year and, although a few steps further into the water and the snorkeling is great. Apartment is great for a family with two bathrooms, children sleeping room and big master bedroom. There are two places to sit outside. Kitchen well equipt. On the whole: very nice experience and might come back!

Second Time, Still a great Location

We loved our stay this week. The South Akumal beach is the best, calm, quiet, great snorkeling and the kids loved the pool. We stayed here four years ago and I would say the only complaint is that things could use a little updating. For the price it is still a great deal, but next time will probably upgrade for a little more comfort. The mattress in the master is pretty worn and the cement couches in the family room just didn't work for us this time. The TV was also broken and had no access to any english programming. We spend most of our time outside on these kind of vacations anyway, but it is nice to be able to watch a family movie or two sometimes. I would still recommend the property, Miguel the manager is great and super helpful, the grounds are immaculate and access to everything you need, just feel like it is important for folks to know what the comfort level is.
