About this property

This charming and beautiful three story beach home is located in the Village of Jamaica Beach. The home is painted in very bright and beachy colors with lots of windows and natural light.The ceiling is vaulted and reaches about 30'at the highest point. It has a spacious back deck with hot tub, table,chairs and barbeque pit. Below is a flagstone breezeway overlooking a a big yard with a garden. This area is always cool with a great breeze even in August. There is also a bay view for awesome sunsets and beach view on third floor bedroom balcony. We are dog friendly so we have a fenced area for Rover.

This beach home has the following amenities: Hot Tub, Free Wi-Fi, Washer and dryer, double oven, two cable televisions with DVD players, microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, and a BBQ grill.

Within walking distance is a swimming pool and a big playground with basketball court. The beach is also walking distance. For those who like to fish, bring your boat, we have a public boat ramp at our marina. Galveston State Park is very close where you can see many types of birds. A Circle K convenience store is within walking distance and just a short distance away is Seven Seas, a fully stocked grocery store known for its great cuts of meat. They carry everything from food and bait, to flip flops and hats. Located right by Seven Seas Grocery is Nates West End restaurant. Nates is a locals favorite that features reasonably priced seafood.

Family mini vacation 😊

We enjoyed our stay very much. Quite neighbour hood. Short walk to the pool and play ground . Minutes away from the beach. Highly recommend it

Beautiful home and views from balcony, tentative host!

The pics did not do this beautiful home justice! Those of you wondering by the listing.... there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer. The hot tub is now on bottom floor which is probably best for the wood home since hot tubs sometimes run over. The home is not perfect and needs repairs (the top floor bedroom needs floor replacement in center, the hot tub needs new jets and mode cover repair, and water was dingy, holes in walls from pics, and moldy looking fridge water spout) However, our family really enjoyed the drive on Jamaica Beach, the 4 ft max community swimming pool, playground, friendly locals, seawall near by, grocery stores, great restaurants, and gorgeous balcony views! 😊 We would definitely return if we decide to visit Galveston again😊

Quick get away!

My family and I decided at the last minute to take a quick trip down to Jamaica beach and we chose this little gem and we loved it! We definitely will return!

I am originally from a small deep east Texas town of San Augustine. I was raised on a ranch and was a barrel racer by the age of 9. I have a great appreciation for all animals and anything outdoors. I was a high school history and psychology teacher. I quit teaching and became a serial entrepreneur. I have been self employed for most of my adult life. It seems that I really like to sell things ( it makes me high). Some of my businesses consisted of selling imprinted sportswear to schools as well as hand painted wall murals. For the last five years, I have taught onsite CPR and First Aid to company employees and schools. I now live in Galveston, Texas and enjoy entertaining and the beauty of the Gulf Coast.

Because it is cool!! the price is right and you get the best of the bay view as well as the ocean view.

What makes this property unique

You can sit under the house on the hottest day of the summer and there is always a breeze blowing thru the flagstone breezeway. I see many guest downstairs reading and relaxing in early morning while drinking there morning coffee.
