About this property
A lovely village house in the heart of unspoilt Gascony.
A lovely house in a tranquil village in the heart of Gascony. The house has 3 large double bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, sitting room and 2 luxury bathrooms. There are 2 woodburners for chilly days as well as a private courtyard garden to make the most of the summer sunshine in this beautiful part of France.
This was our dream holiday house for 5 years and we loved it, and the area, so much, we sold up in the city to move here permanently. We now live 10 minutes drive away.
The friendly village has all the amenities you need, including a bar, a restaurant, a pharmacy and a well-stocked local shop. And during the summer months the square is host to a bustling night market every Wednesday featuring local food and drink producers plus live music.
There is fantastic walking and cycling on your doorstep, and historic villages and bustling markets make sure there is always something to do. Or why not just sit in the private terrace garden, soaking up the sun, with a glass of wine from one of the local vineyards.

About the host
Hosted by Averil Provan
After 20 years working in London, we decided to give it all up and move to this beautiful part of France.
Why they chose this property
This house was our dream holiday house - away from the noise of the city. A perfect location with everything on the doorstep meant we could spend all weekend without getting in the car. And when we did drive out, the beautiful countryside, lovely restaurants and friendly people made for amazing holidays.
