Open and airy one bedroom/one bath: sleeps four people (double bed/ sleeper sofa). Restored in traditional and Modern style in 2016, this third-floor flat has terracotta and beamed ceilings, terracotta and wooden floors, a black local marble kitchen and convenient comforts: WIFI internet, BBC and many other international channels, AIR Conditioned, LED TV, independent heating, washing machine, dryer, microwave, refrigerator. The bathroom features Murano Bisazza Venetian glass tile. A modern furnished bedroom has an armoire and wooden floors. The apartment is sunny with rooftop views and accented with tasteful lighting, located exactly in the centre of the main street in this charming city in Tuscany. Lucca is surrounded by a Renaissance wall with wide, tree-lined boulevards for walking, jogging, rollerblading and biking. Close to markets, pharmacies, sightseeing and shopping as well as wonderful restaurants and bars for every budget. All of Tuscany is a day trip away.

Awesome apartment in the heart of Lucca

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The space was exactly as pictured—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. We will definitely return. Paolo aquatinted us with the apartment then gave us a quick tour of the surrounding area and was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Paolo meet us, explained everything and gave us a short walking tour. He helped us with our luggage to the 4th floor apartment. It is completely provisioned, spotless and had more than we expected. Right in the center of town, but quiet.We highly recommend.

Paolo , was very responsive and helpful in showing us the Property and the apartment was very clean and very well equipped . Everything worked . Perfect Space With an Excellent Host

After spending 9 days in Rome, Venice and Florence, this was the perfect spot for us to slow down away from the crowds. The flat was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Paolo thought of everything a guest would need. The lovely flowers, wine and sandwiches to welcome us, we're greatly appreciated. a little hidden wonder in Italy

our kids first time in Italy: our host Paolo made everything very easy and clear for them... exactly how to go from the airport to the shuttle to the train, and he met them and brought them to the apartment. it's a little wonderland : how does such a small country have so many completely magical and completely different worlds in it? thank you Paolo, thank you Lucca

Lucca Trip

A gem of a place. Quiet, cool and very relaxing. The apartment is pristine and has everything you could possibly need. It is located on one of the main streets but the moment you step inside it is very quiet and peaceful. Paolo is a fabulous and very thoughtful host who left a number of treats for us and kindly came to our rescue when we lost our bearings. A fabulous place to stay, we would rebook without hesitation for any future trips to Lucca.

Paolo’s Place

Wow! Exceeded all expectations! Zero issues. Paolo heard we were interested in a wine tour so he arranged one for us, then drove us there and did the tour with us! His place is lovely. He had a lunch from one of the shops waiting for us, with some wine. He searched out some live music venues for me - because I had asked - although we didn’t end up going. Lucca is a great place to visit, and Paolo's apartment is a very central location for it! 10 to 15 minute walk from the main train station.

A perfect place!

The perfect place to stay in Lucca. You can not ask for a more perfect host than Paulo. He met us at his apartment and helped us with the luggage up the narrow staircase. Paulo explained in detail the ins and outs of this lovely decorated and super clean apartment. He had fresh cut roses, pastries, sandwiches, wine and Prosecco prepared for us! Paulo also took time to walk the city and showed us the highlights in this beautiful town. He introduced us to a neighborhood restaurant where we met his friend Marco. We spent the first evening there. He was just awesome. We will definitely come back to visit, but only stay with Paulo!

A perfect place

I simply cannot over state how good an experience my wife and I had over the few days in Lucca. A great deal of this goes to the man who owns the property, Paolo. He is an exemplary host and made us feel eminently welcome, in his fantastic property. He has taken a great deal of time and obviously put a lot of work in to making this apartment comfortable, functional and a joy to spend time in. There was everything that I could have hoped for including a list of personal recommendations for places to eat, drink and visit. The town it's self is just gorgeous. It was always busy without being overwhelming and has something worth seeing around every corner. I was initially torn between here and Florence, and after spending a day there I am just delighted that I decided to go here. This was my first time in Tuscany and after this experience I have left a little bit of my heart there. I cannot recommend this property or sing Paolo's praises highly enough. We are both sold on returning in the future.

Apartamento perfecto en el centro de Lucca,. Aunque está céntrico no sé oye bullicio de las calles. Todo está cuidado al detalle, cama muy grande y cómoda. Tiene todos los electrodomésticos necesarios y de buenas marcas, todo estabareluciente. El propietario fue muy atento y cercano, en todo momento estuvimos en contacto con él, nos hizo recomendaciones, fue muy atento en la entrada y nos obsequió con vino de la zona y tapas típicas de allí, cosa que agradecimos porque llegamos justo a la hora de comer. Además fue flexible tanto en la hora de entrada y de salida del apartamento. Recomendable 100%.

Rundum zufrieden

Wir waren mit dem Apartment während unseres 10-tägigen Aufenhalts sehr glücklich. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen, und man hat hier trotzdem Ruhe. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, verbindet alt mit neu und verzichtet nicht auf die Annehmlichkeiten eines modernen Apartments. Besonders überrascht hat uns der freundliche Empfang des Vermieters mit Blumen, Kuchen und Getränken. Die Bedienung der Geräte in der Wohnung wurde uns gut erklärt, und danach bei einem Stadtrundgang die nähere Umgebung mit ihren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Museen etc. vertraut gemacht. Der Vermieter war bei Fragen immer gut kontaktierbar, sowohl vor als auch während unseres Aufenthaltes. Insgesamt waren wir rundum zufrieden, haben uns sehr gut erholt und kommen gerne wieder.

I Would Absolutely Stay Here Again

Of the four places we stayed in Italy, all were very good, but this one was the best! Paolo was so helpful, he went over and above, giving us a quick tour of Lucca and personally assisting with parking. The apartment is dead-center in the middle of Lucca, surrounded by history and dining. Super quiet, clean, secure and all the needed amenities. The only challenge, like most Italian cities is parking, so be prepared. I could live here indefinitley.

Fabulous apartment right in the heart of Lucca

The apartment was even nicer than the photos and really peaceful. We found it to be really well appointed and was so comfortable for our stay. Paolo took lots of time to show us how everything worked and took us around the neighbourhood to point out good restaurants etc. He also left lots of lovely treats for us, which were much appreciated. The apartment is located on a busy street, but faces a courtyard, so it was very quiet. A fantastic experience and we hope to return one day soon.

BEAUTIFUL CENTRAL APARTMENT

This was the third time that we have stayed in one of Paolo`s apartments, I think that says it all. Paolo is a charming and helpful host. He even provided some sandwiches and a bottle of wine when we arrived. This was very welcome as we reached Lucca in the evening. This apartment is decorated, furnished and equipped to Paolo`s impeccable standards. It is one of the best equipped apartments that we have stayed in. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the Old Town. It is an easy ten minute walk to the railway station. Lucca is a beautiful small Italian historic town within easy reach of many places of interest. The quality of this apartment is appropriate for such a place.

Modern apartment at the centre of Lucca

We enjoyed 6 days in this modern apartment which is of a high standard. The apartment is quiet and has a well equipped kitchen area The location is at the centre of the city but within walking distance of both the train and bus stations making it easy to visit Florence or Pisa. On the coast Viareggio and the Cinque Terre are both convenient day trips. Paolo provided good recommendations on where to eat.

Amazing modern apartment in central Lucca.

The apartment was in an excellent location in the centre of the old walled town. Although it was on a busy street, it was quiet because it was on the third floor. It has been beautifully modernised and is equipped with all mod cons as well as having a well equipped kitchen. It's very comfortable and stylish and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paolo was a lovely and helpful host who welcomed us to his apartment with sandwiches, pastries and Prosecco! There was a folder of useful local information including recommendations for restaurants. We went to Gigi, which was lovely. Paolo has paid great attention to detail in renovating the apartment, which is even better than the photos suggest. The station is only about 10 minutes on foot and everything else, including a couple of local supermarkets, is within easy reach. Lucca is our favourite Italian city and this is the best apartment we've stayed in there. We would certainly stay in it again. There is plenty to do in Lucca and its surroundings. This time we took a wine tour in a neighbouring area, which included visiting Vinci (birthplace of Leonardo) and we went to concerts in the Duomo, San Michele in Foro, San Giovanni (Puccini festival) and the Botanic Gardens. Lucca offers regular entertainment in the summer. There are many lovely shops and plenty of museums/galleries to visit. Walking the city walls is a great pleasure and a lovely way to spend an hour or two.

Beautiful, amazing design, clean and close to everything!

Paolo was a wonderful host! He greeted us with a bottle of prosecco and some food and pastries for the night. The apartment is amazing, very very well designed with unique pieces and a lot of good thought that went into the setup. It was extremely clean, brand new it seems. The apartment is also situated right in the center of everything. I would 100% stay here again!
