Cottage was really cosy with comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Location is stunning. Undine was really brilliant and responsive. Thanks Undine and John. We hope to return one day.
the accommodation was absolutely perfect. The host had thought of everything you might need right down to washing up liquid and tea towels. The location was beautiful.
Lovely 3 bed cottage with outstanding views over the loch and easy access to the pebble beach. Lots of bunnies in the garden which my daughter loved watching. You could happily spend hours on the sofa just watching the scenery and wildlife. Kitchen was well stocked, as was a games cupboard and binoculars and a welcome box of shortbread were lovely touches. Owners were friendly and responsive to messages, great stay!

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location
We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage and would highly recommend it! Wonderful location, close to Glen Coe and Ft. William, yet off the busy roads, directly on Loch Linnie. The cottage was beautifully decorated and the kitchen well stocked. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The house is equipped with everything you need. We really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. It is very quiet and yet it is not far to Fort William. Ideal for exploring this beautiful area. Thank you for the great stay.
Unit was clean and well equipped. Walks along the beach and watching the bunnies playing in the fields was great. We would definitely recommend this location.

Great guests, left the cottage really tidy and clean. There was good communication too. Can highly recommend to host them! Thank you for coming.
Fantastic cottage with everything you need and for rainy days a selection of dvds, games, kids toys and books. Extremely clean and cosy and it has a big garden as well. It is really quiet and only a few steps to the beach. The area is perfect to explore the Highlands by hiking or by car. There are many atrractions nearby. Highly recommendable
We had a marvelous stay at the cottage! It is very warm and hospitable. The view of the loch is breathtaking! We walked to it nearly every day and even saw the northern lights! The cottage has everything you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable with ample pillows which was a huge bonus for us. The hosts are very attentive and checked up on us . It is within easy driving distance of many sites. Highly recommend!
Lovely ,clean and beautiful house. We’ll equipped and warm.
Quiet spot and fantastic views over the Loch and mountains.
Would highly recommend and Undine easy to communicate with and helpful. Would love to return.🤗
Location was just like the photos. Beautiful views from the back deck. Rooms were clean and cozy. We didn’t realize the bedrooms and bath were upstairs so for those of us with stiff knees we were conscious of our goings up and down.
This was one of 4 rentals on this trip and the home was well stocked with kitchen supplies and utensils which was great. Clear that the cabin has been lived in and not just a rental.
Host was very helpful and responsive when we thought we were missing an iron. Had a wedding to attend. Undine was willing to deliver the morning of if needed. We found what we needed in a storage closet. Crisis averted.
We arrived late in the evening so navigating in the dark with limited signs was a challenge. A helpful neighbor out walking his dog provided assistance.
Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Thanks for having us.
My husband and I are retired scientists and we enjoy staying in Beachcomber Cottage but if we can't be there we like others to enjoy it. Driftwood Cottage is on the beautiful Ardrhu Estate, Onich, between Fort William and Glencoe in the Highlands of Scotland.

Why they chose this property
For me this cottage is perfectly situated. It is away from busy roads and has fantastic views across Loch Linnhe and the mountains beyond. It is perfectly situated to discover the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and all the outdoor activities available everywhere around Ardrhu. The cottage is also perfect for just to "get away from it all", to relax, to recuperate, to quieten the mind etc. We enjoy to stay in the cottage ourselves on occasion and never get enough of the weathers going by.
My husband and I have refurbished this property to a very high standard. It benefits from central heating and a wood burning stove which provides a wonderful cosiness in the cooler evenings. From the sitting room you have a fantastic view towards Loch Linnhe and the mountains beyond. In summer when the sun is shining onto the decking its the perfect location to have breakfast or dinner outside, or why not take a cup of tea and stroll down to the shore to sit on a rock and relax close to the sea and let the wind and weather ruffle your hair for a while.
The cottage has been fitted with a kitchen incl. washing machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
The bathroom has been completely renovated and is stylish and practical.
In general, the cottage is very unique and homely, the decor has been carefully chosen, and it provides a calming and relaxing ambient. It is suitable in all seasons, and it is wonderful sitting on the sofa and watching the "weather" going by.
What makes this property unique
Everyone who visited Ardrhu is blown away by the fantastic setting. There are only few places left which provide you with so much peace, wilderness and beauty.
The cottage for me is a perfect setting for all sorts of activities, whether you like to relax or just go out for adventures. Right between the Nevis and Glencoe mountain range it provides all year activities incl. winter sports. The many lochs and the sea in the area give plenty of opportunity for water sports, including fishing, snorkeling, diving or sailing.
... and can there be a better activity after a long day out to come home to a fire in the wood burning stove? This cottage is my "getting away" and my "soul searching" and my "recuperation" and the perfect place to explore this beautiful area with its many exciting attractions. It is centrally located for Glencoe and Ben Nevis range if you enjoy hiking or winter sporting!
