A short stroll from Sunset Beach we are located in a quiet cul-de-sac with panoramic ocean views, our renters come to this house to relax, refresh and some for a ‘workcation’. Set across two floors with a combination of easy indoor/outdoor living on the wrap around lanais, with all living and bedrooms flowing to the outdoors. Each of the 4 bedrooms (+ 4 ensuite bathrooms) provide privacy with door locks. There are 3 group gathering places for family, group cooking, meals and memories. High end, comfy beds and a choice of pillows make for a dreamy night’s sleep. The short 5 minute walk (or 2 minute bike ride) to sunset beach makes swimming, surfing, snorkelling a sublime way to unwind and de-stress. A chill out zone for you all!

WORKCATION: Families have stayed for over 30 nights working from home due to fast wifi (+300Mbps) and space for family members. Home schooling is made easier with a spacious house and a large, private garden where the kids can run around and play in a safe space and you can see them from the house.

CONTACTLESS ENTRY: We provide contactless entry and exit and 5/5 cleaning rating from Vrbo.

My family enjoyed staying at the house. It had all that we needed. The view was spectacular. We walked to the beach when the waves were calm. The property managers kept in touch and made sure we were fine. Only one hiccup was my children said there were dust/others’ hair on their bedroom floor. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway/Youngest Daughter’s Wedding

Words can’t describe how wonderful our stay was in this beautiful home. Di was so helpful and responsive to our needs for pre-wedding planning. The home is stunning and the views are unbelievable. We had an amazing time as a family congregating on the lanai for morning coffee, evening cocktails and dining alfresco. The walk to the beach was easy and enjoyable. We will definitely return. Oahu and our home stay was some of the best times we have had as a family.

Amazing property and experience.

Can’t say enough good things about being able to stay at this beautiful home for some family time with our son who lives on the Island. Our family had great times cooking together and playing games at the house and enjoying the beautiful view. The kids used the bikes to go to the beaches at their convenience. It was close to everything we needed to enjoy an amazing family vacation after being kept apart by the pandemic for a year. We are very grateful to have found this home.

Beautiful spot for gathering

My family and I were in the area for my sister's wedding. It was the perfect house to accommodate all of us (my parents, aunt, spouse, and child). The large kitchen meant that we could cook and be together. The proximity to the beach was also great for our toddler. We would take our time and walk to the beach in the morning and afternoon. We had a great time. Di and the property manager Winter were helpful and communicative throughout. All the instructions were clear and made the stay comfortable.

Great location on the North Shore. My husband and son were close to golf at turtle bay. My daughter got to see the turtles on the north shore. We brought my husbands parents. The place was perfect. We could have our own rooms and bathrooms. The place was spotless and had everything you could think of from boogie boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and coolers. As you know, most homes do not have AC but the design of the home allowed for a great breeze. We had a wonderful time even on the one rainy day because of Hurricane Hector!

Di's house is exactly as described. It is spacious with ocean views throughout the home. We all appreciated how well stocked the home was. A closet for necessities such as tampons, bandaids, extra toothbrushes, alka seltzer, etc. as well as large containers of shampoo and bodywash. The kitchen is stocked with most items we all have in our homes, which made cooking a meal easy. It was great to have quick and easy access to the beach and not forced to drive around north shore if we felt like staying in the neighborhood. There are a few nice restuarants in the area, which was great~

Wonderful North Shore Vacation

What a wonderful home this was. We were not disappointed with the home and the communication with had with Di. The home is gorgeous and outstanding views. What we saw on the listing matched up exactly with what we got. They provided many extra towels, beach chairs, bikes and umbrellas for us to use. The walk to the beach at first seemed long, but it only looks it, it is a very easy walk. The neighborhood is very quiet and the view excellent. Our family left hoping that we'll get a chance to stay here again in the future. We also concluded that you get what you pay for and this was worth it. We had a wonderful North Shore vacation!

Magnificent House!

We enjoyed this magnificent house on the North Shore! What a beautiful property with “take your breath away” views! We could watch the surfers each day and had many beautiful rainbows 🌈. The house is very spacious and immaculate! There is plenty of room to spread out and relax. We were a group of 4 adult sibling couples. The house has everything you need! The on-site property managers Winter and Butch were there to help with any questions and actually had a few items that we needed waiting at the house before we checked in. We are repeat guests at this wonderful North Shore home. The lanai has 180 degree views of sunsets, surf, whales and ocean breezes - our favorite place to have morning coffee or a bbq dinner. The North Shore culture is tropical country, away from town, but close enough if you want higher energy. Enjoy riding bikes, strolling on the beach, watching the surfers, golfing, snorkeling - the list never ends. The home is clean, high quality, everything you need for the beach, cooking, or just relaxing. The pictures are very representative of the beautiful interior and stunning setting. You cannot go wrong with this home. The owners are easy to communicate with, responsive and anxious for you to enjoy the home as much as they do. Aloha!

Stunning Spot on the North Shore!

Our stay here was so relaxing! Enjoyed the view and the easy access to Sunset beach. Everything is fresh and new here with all the amenities for both indoors and out. Clean and modern. And to walk out from any room on to the deck and enjoy the view - priceless. Great place to check on the surf conditions. A straight view to Sunset. It's quiet except for the distant roar of 'double overhead' waves if you are blessed enough to come in Fall/Winter. Love the outdoor shower after a trip to the beach. If you are looking for a modern, fresh, friendly place on the 7 mile miracle, this is it! Our host was sharp and accommodating making sure we had all we needed. This place has all that we needed and more. We will be back to watch the sunset again!

Unbelievable!!!

This house is everything and more than the description and pictures tell and show you. We found ourselves not even wanting to go out to eat because the kitchen was so nice and the Lanai was a place we didn't want to leave. Every morning we woke up We would stare out at the ocean to watch Humpback whales breaching and even saw a pod of about 100 Spinner Dolphins cruise by. I could write a book about our vacation but it's better to experience this house for yourself. Not only was the house more than what we expected but Di, the owner was incredibly easy to communicate with and I feel like I have a new friend without ever meeting her. Ralph the property manager was also very easy to get along with and always fast to respond to anything we needed. Without a doubt, this is the best house I've ever rented through VRBO and will absolutely be coming back!

Sunset - Every families Dream location in paradise

WOW WHAT A PLACE!!!!! The house just blew us away on arrival, ideally located just off Sunset Beach and you can walk or cycle along the bike path to Pipeline or Shark Cove for unbelievable snorkelling, the kids just loved every minute and so did we. Each room in the house was self contained with a bathroom, TV and stylish décor, All opening onto the deck. I loved the huge washer and dryer and Kitchen which I used daily and my Husband loved the outdoor Hot and Cold shower, perfect after all the outdoor sports. There is a proper chefs kitchen and entertainers dream, it is an ideal location for Barbecuing which my Husband loved and watching the sunset while experiencing the Aloha of the place. The calming energy of the house was great for Yoga, and kids loved spotting the Humpback whales and surfers from the balcony. Located at the peaceful North Shore, Honolulu is only a short car ride through the stunning mountains to experience Pearl Harbour and the famous Waikiki Beach and the Hustle bustle. I would highly recommend staying here and we'll see you next year.

Breathtaking and serene

This property is a dream! I would definitely stay here again. Its like 2 houses in 1. There is an upstairs and down stairs with kitchens and livingrooms in both! We had everything we needed provided for us. I mean everything dishwashing soap, snorkel gear, beach chairs bicycles. We had so much fun riding the bikes around the coast. All the info needed for the house is in a binder so REALLY, you feel at home and safe. The view is breathtaking. You wake up to the ocean and birds. The setting is so serene and tranquil. It's was so relaxing to sit outside, close your eyes and just listen to the ocean and birds. We had the most beautiful view of the sunset. Having dinner and watching the sunsets were our favorite. The view is the best!!!! The windows give you a panoramic view of the sunset and ocean. That alone is worth staying here. We even walked to the beach and sat there with the beach chairs and watched some of the most beautifully sunsets i've seen in my life. Di and the property manager are so welcoming and easily reached if anything is needed. This was a dream stay. Di, Winter and Butch thank you. This house exceeded my expectation. I have so much appreciation for all your help and willingness to help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Gorgeous North Shore Oahu home with wonderful ocean/sunset views

We just returned from 5 nights at Di and Paul's gorgeous home. We wish it had been longer! It's a stunning home design with a modern look. We couldn't stop talking about how happy we were to be there. We were traveling with 3 generations: my parents, my sister/her husband/their 2 year old, and my husband /our 11 yr old and 6 yr old. All the rooms in the home are lovely with views of the ocean, and each with their own bathrooms. The showers were wonderful, with great water pressure. The extra second floor bathroom was also quite helpful to have. The home had everything we needed to cook meals, do laundry, BBQ outside, and enjoy some exquisite sunsets together as a family. One of my favorite things was to sit on the lanai, look out at the ocean, and admire the beautiful colors as the sun set. All the views from the home are just wonderful, even the back of the home which looks like a lush tropical garden. The landscaping was quite impressive. We made several trips to Foodland for groceries, which was just down the road. We ate all our meals outside. It rained a bit during our stay, but the lanai was nicely protected, and the rainbows were incredible. I've never seen rainbows so full, from end to end. The front lawn was great for the kids to play on, and you can see them from the lanai. Thank you for sharing this home with us. We hope to be back in the years to come. Mahalo!

Fantastic Stay on North Shore!

This place is actually better than the pictures! We woke up each morning to the sound of ocean waves and bird songs. It was truly relaxing! We could see whales and surfers from the lanai, which was a favorite place to start each morning and unwind at the end of the day. We stayed here, three adults and two tweens, over spring break. It was a great place to see and hear the ocean, reconnect as a family, and yet have our own spaces. The layout would also be great for two families traveling together, since two bedrooms are upstairs and two are downstairs. This property is in a neighborhood setting, and we tried to be respectful of neighbors who were not on vacation. The location is very near to famous surfing beaches. Although we are not surfers or too comfortable swimming in the ocean, we very much enjoyed watching those that were. We managed to do some boogie boarding on one of the calmer days. Some days, we traveled to tourist attractions around Oahu (Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation), which were approximately 20-40 minutes away. Other days we stayed near the house, eating at local food trucks or in the nearby small town. Everything was as described, and we had plenty of unexpected extras with beach chairs, toiletries, and kitchen appliances aplenty. The house was beautifully decorated and maintained. The neighbors greeted us and showed us the house and features. Both the owners and neighbors responded in good time to questions and concerned. We highly recommend this property to friends, relatives, and others looking for a quiet, relaxing place to unwind on the North Shore.

Amazing, simply amazing

We had such a great stay. This house is incredibly appointed and the owners put so much thought into everything they provide. I couldn’t think of one thing we needed that they didn’t have available for use. From kitchen and BBQ supplies to beach gear and towels, the owners cater to every need. As an example, each night stand had a small flashlight. Very thoughtful, though we didn’t need to use them because the house is well equipped with night lights! The location is perfect, right above Sunset Beach and a short walk to the ocean, Teddy’s ( must try pies!) and the Sunrise Shack (coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls). The views are endless and the Sunsets are incredible. The lanais are where we spent most of our time. The walk back up to the house is a moderate hill so maybe a challenge if you have older folks in your party. Easy enough to shuttle people down by car if you need to. The house is very comfortable and spacious. We originally planned to have 8 total but 3 couldn’t stay so our party was 5 for the week. Though too much house for 5, we absolutely still wanted to stay here and am glad we did. Can’t say enough great things about our stay. The North Shore is amazing. My family had a great time! The area is very quiet. The quiet time is real so if you are looking to party late at night look somewhere else. We all were exhausted by 10 each night anyway from all the sun and surf. Property manager next store is extremely nice and helpful and there if you need him. We didn’t need anything but he checked in with us to make sure all was ok. Communication with Di and Paul was awesome as well. So much pride of ownership with this place and I am grateful we had the chance to share in it. Thanks for a great week!

This North Shore gem was designed and built by us from scratch, to take advantage of the 7 mile coastal miracle. We used local builders, architect, trades and carpenters to make our bedroom furniture to which we have added high end mattresses on all bed frames. Our large Ohana take advantage of this house and each family spends time here every few months. We also take care of the property, so sometimes we are re-painting or maintaining the house to keep it in great shape for all of us. Occasionally we share our home with select groups. It is really about people who take care of our neighbours and leave the place as they found it. Our neighbours are amazing and we want to ensure we respect their tranquil pocket of the North Shore by being peaceful and quiet and soaking in the serenity away from the crashing city noises. A chill out zone indeed!

Why they chose this property

Quiet and peaceful, we are protected from tourist buses and the hustle and bustle of city life. We are on a quiet private road and our neighbours are quiet and respectful and appreciate the same from us and our guests. Local pets and kids use the road to get to school, walk, cycle - so we all drive slowly. Our local full-time community is a natural neighbourhood watch, so we take care of each other's properties and well-being. Being off the tourist track, we enjoy a safe and tranquil setting. Chillax!

What makes this property unique

For a group stay you need space for your family. One of the benefits of this property is the size and layout of the house. This allows a group to gather on the lanai for dinner or watching the sunset from the front lanai, or in the living room inside. It also means you can take time out from the group and sit on the side lanai, front lanai, outside the main bedroom or downstairs on the lanai or out on the back deck, overlooking the garden of tranquility we have created for you. The house is on 1.1 acres giving a sense of space. There is a long strip of lawn out the back and lawn in front of the house if the kids want to run around and play. The beach is only 500 yards away and so you can hear the ocean outside the front and birds in the back garden - two different ecosystems!

Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and door lock. Your own tv in the bedroom means you get to choose the channels you watch or keep it turned off if you prefer!

It is ideally suited for two families or four couples, as there are two main bedrooms each with a california king bed on each floor and on each floor there is a bedroom with 2 XtraLong single beds. A total of 4 bedrooms and 4 ensuite bathrooms. Plus a powder room and an outdoor hot and cold shower making a total of 5 bathroom facilities in total! Beds can be pushed together by request.

The main kitchen is upstairs and is equipped for baking and group cooking with gadgets, crockery, cutlery and lots of crockery and cutlery. Pots, pans, baking items, salad spinner, rice cooker all abound.

Downstairs has its own kitchenette with a sink, microwave, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery, toaster, blender, kettle if you want to grab a 'cuppa' or snack downstairs. There is a third fridge for +100 cans in the carport to keep your drinks cool.

There is a large Webber barbecue grill upstairs for group barbecues connected to the mains gas.
