About this property

Boutique home on the Zihuatanejo Bay, Just A Short Walk From The Beach.

This was our first beach house, we spent many wonderful weekends and vacation days here! The house is designed and built by renowned architect Enrique Zozaya. From here you can easily walk, or jog, to Playa la Ropa, which is right at the center of the Zihuatanejo bay. This beach is perfect for little ones and not so little ones who love playing in the quiet waves.
There are two master bedrooms with a king sized bed each, one bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds and a double bed, and a smaller bedroom with 2 twin beds. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are air conditioned. The two masters have TV with cable. The living area of the house has an open living room that faces the pool and there is a TV room with a full bathroom connected to this area. The TV room is also air conditioned. The house ideally sleeps 12 adults.

We booked this property as a gift to family from Michoacan. This place exceeded expectations. It was in a perfect location, up to date amenities, clean and staff was very attentive. Short walk to the beach. Definitely a place to make great memories!

Beautiful Home

This home had everything we needed! We spent a week with family and it was wonderful! We had immediate response when communicating with owner. We were so well taken care of by the housekeepers Antonia and Mari who helped us with all of our questions and kept the house super clean not to mention they are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met! The only con was that the house was a bit far away from everything but taxis are only a phone call away and the walk down to the beach or the Oxxo (a bit further than the beach) is easy - its the walking back up hill which is the difficult part but we took the combi's for 15 pesos each on some occasions or a taxi up for about 60 pesos from La Ropa or Oxxo. We did make the trek down to la ropa and followed the path over the rocks to las gatas which was my favorite beach - we opted to take a water taxi back to the pier (also a cool experience!) because some of us were not wearing appropriate footwear to go back - Do NOT wear flip flops if you attempt the path to las gatas - sandals with an ankle strap or tennis shoes would be best but it is doable! Thanks to Georgina for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home!

La estancia estuvo agradable, pero la comunicación con el anfitrión fue un poco complicada ya que la última vez que le mandé mensaje no recibí respuesta alguna ya que me interesaba mucho que la alberca estuviera limpia por que iban niños que se la querían pasar en la alberca, de lo demás todo bien la ubicación se la casa está súper bien.

Breathtaking views

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The views were breathtaking and the open concept living area captured the views perfectly. It is a 3 story home with 3 bedrooms below, main living and then the master up top. It was clean and nicely decorated. Having a maid come in everyday for cleaning was a nice bonus. We did have a couple of issues when we checked but Georgina was on top of things and got it taken care of. The only thing I would disagree with on the listing is it says it is a "easy walk to Playa la Ropa". You are high up on the hill with a steep incline and I believe too far to walk. Plan on a taxi. We had people ranging from 24-55 years of age, all in good shape, and we all concurred on that. Bottom line: Highly recommend this home and we will be back.

Short family stay

This house is amazing. Been to Zihua for many years and stayed a lot of places, this is the best yet. Best to have a car rental because it is up on the hill. Beds are comfy, pool cold and the house is immaculate.

Casa Osorio was the perfect setting for our family Christmas

We were very impressed with this house. It was large enough to accommodate all our family - 11 of us from across Canada and had spectacular views from the living room and bedrooms. The owner responded to all our questions before our arrival and the housekeepers were friendly and helpful .The house does not have the name on the front, so the taxi driver from the airport had a difficult time finding the property. Luckily, we had a picture to identify the house. Over all, we were very impressed and will return if we have the chance.

WOW!!!!

We just recently stayed here this January and this amazing house met all our expectations and more! We had a group of 12 coming from various states (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Colorado) and we all had more than enough room to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. I was beyond excited that everything exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. From the time of booking with the owner,who was very responsive, to arriving and being greeted by the kind housekeeper, we had all we needed to start enjoying our vacation. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!
