THE VILLA

Villa Giotto is arranged entirely on one level and comfortably accommodates up to four guests.

The villa has two comfortable bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds and its own en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate main bathroom.

The bright living and dining area opens directly onto the garden and terraces, while the fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for relaxed meals at home.

The villa is fully air-conditioned for comfort during the warmer Tuscan months.



PRIVATE GARDEN & OUTDOOR LIVING

One of Villa Giotto's greatest features is its large private garden and wonderful outdoor living space.

Attached directly to the villa is a spacious covered pergola and terrace of approximately 55 m², creating a natural extension of the indoor living space. It provides a beautiful setting for outdoor dining, relaxing in the shade or enjoying a glass of local wine while taking in the surrounding Tuscan countryside.

There are several sunny terraces and seating areas around the villa, allowing you to enjoy the views and Tuscan sunshine throughout the day.

From the front of the villa you can watch the sun rise over the hills, while the rear garden and terrace are perfect for enjoying spectacular Tuscan sunsets.

THE POOL

The panoramic saltwater swimming pool is approximately 20 metres from Villa Giotto and enjoys wonderful views across the surrounding countryside.

The pool is shared with the other properties within the small borgo and is normally open from 1 May until 30 September.

Sun loungers and areas for relaxing around the pool make it an ideal place to cool off after a day exploring Tuscany.

BORGO COLLEVICCHI

Villa Giotto forms part of Borgo Collevicchi, a peaceful development of just ten privately owned villas and apartments surrounded by beautiful Tuscan countryside.

Although part of the borgo, Villa Giotto benefits from its own large private garden extending around three sides of the villa, together with several terraces, giving guests plenty of private outdoor space to relax and enjoy the Tuscan surroundings.

The setting offers the best of both worlds: peace, space and countryside views while remaining within easy reach of Volterra and many of Tuscany's most beautiful towns and attractions.

LOCATION

The historic hilltop town of Volterra is approximately 15 minutes away by car, with its beautiful medieval streets, Etruscan history, restaurants, cafés, shops and spectacular views.

San Gimignano, one of Tuscany's most famous medieval towns, is also within easy reach, together with numerous smaller villages, vineyards and restaurants throughout the surrounding countryside.

The world-famous Teatro del Silenzio, created by Andrea Bocelli near his home town of Lajatico, is approximately 10–15 minutes away by car and can even be seen in the distance from the area around the villa.

The location also makes Villa Giotto an excellent base for exploring further afield, with Pisa, Siena, Florence and the Tuscan coast all accessible for memorable day trips.

There are several excellent restaurants and traditional Tuscan agriturismi within a short drive. Even better, Agriturismo Santa Vittoria is just a short walk from the Borgo gates, making it possible to enjoy a relaxed Tuscan meal and wine without having to drive.
