About this property
You can get in your recreation or relax. Located at the base of the Catalinas.
Remodeled June 2021. This home is located close to everything that Oro Valley has to offer. Very clean. Two bedroom and 1 3/4 bath. Washer and Dryer on premises. Master has Queen and full bed with on suite. A day bed that has separated to two twins. New, good mattresses on the 4 beds. Lots of extra pillows. New flooring, shower and bath. Access to BBQ, pool and jacuzzi. 5 minutes to Oro Valley Aquatic center, great children's park, many golf courses, tennis clubs and many hiking trails including Catalina State Park. Walking trails and great neighborhood. Bike trails close by with The Loop only minutes from home. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Lots of Restaurants both local and chains from Mexican, Italian, Thai, Whole Foods with tried and true recommendations in welcome book. There are many brochures to many attractions in Tucson and surrounding areas. There is a LA Fitness with day/month rates that you can walk to. Also a Planet Fitness 2 mile drive. We just realized that we should forewarn travelers to bring inside shoes/slippers. It’s a no shoe house. There is fresh blacktop outside the carport and it causes a black mess.
The townhouse will be cleaned thoroughly. Including all the towels and sheets have been washed in hot water and lots of soap. I have cleaned all the furniture and all surfaces extra well. There is a silver spray bottle with Mr. Clean solution under the kitchen sink if you feel like you need to clean anything that “just doesn’t seem clean enough”. We have tested cleaners extensively to find one that cleans, disinfects and doesn’t ruin the surfaces of the newly remodeled house. Do not use anything else.

Immaculate! Cozy! Well stocked! We felt right at home. The townhouse has two entrances which makes it super easy to bring suitcases into the bedrooms and the other entrance convenient to the kitchen. Ceiling fans plus good AC kept the home cool as the temperatures were over 100 degrees. The carport was tall enough to accommodate our tall truck. Lots of birds singing in the morning made it feel like home! And Michelle, our host was very helpful with questions I had! I would stay there again if I was in Tucson.
The instructions for finding the rental were perfect. The rental was clean, comfortable, and a perfect end to a long traveling day. We were able to hike at Catalina State Park - a short distance away. The owners were very quick to respond when we had a question. Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone!
Wonderful townhouse. Comfortable seating, Fantastic kitchen, comfortable beds and clean. The library was top notch and the location was only a couple of miles from our family. I highly recommend this property.
Michelle and Dan are terrific hosts. The communication and check in were seamless. The beds were very comfortable, the place was immaculate. The townhome is conveniently located in Oro Valley, close to shoppes and great restaurants. I was concerned there might be traffic noise, but we were able to sleep with the windows open without any issues. We would stay again.
The townhouse is as described in a great area with all amenities easily accessible. The townhouse is well-stocked, and has a vast library, including Arizona history books and photos.
Five stars are not enough to rate this place!
Additionally, the host was easy to reach and responded quickly.
We enjoyed our short stay at the Oro Valley site. It was very clean and lots of amenities if needed. It was comfortable and easy access to other areas in the community.
My family of four had a wonderful stay! The townhome is so clean, in a beautiful and safe neighborhood and the house was fully stocked. Everything we needed was in there including cooking oil, Brita water filter (we used it and also purchased a few gallons of drinking water), butter, spices, extra water bottles etc. Great selection of books, good WiFi and really comfortable beds and pillows! I liked that there were four beds which made my girls sleep comfortably. I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a comfortable place so close to the mountains.
Great location & comfortable, made it easy to accomplish a lot of Tucson tasks & travels. We now have a place in Oro Valley as a result of this trip so that would be the only reason we wouldn't return.
well maintained and very clean. Everything you would need is provided.
Main road out back is a little loud but decreases significantly in the evening.
Very comfortable while waiting for our house to be ready.
Host very accommodating to changes in our schedule.
This townhouse is very spacious and clean. I call it cozy because unlike a hotel stay, there are so many books to look at or read. Lovely seating options and an Arizona room. It was only me and my friend, but a family of 4 would have no trouble being comfortable here.
Townhome was as advertised. Happy with the cleanliness, and they provided what we needed for our stay. Didn’t use the pool. One issue for me, but might not be for others, was the foam in the mattresses and pillows. I get excessively hot from foam.
We loved the decor and comfortable furniture, and covered parking. We spent the Christmas holiday at the townhouse, cooked meals and particularly enjoyed the string of white lights on the porch that made it festive. Great library of books, nice tv which we don't usually watch but due to the pandemic we were more homebodies than usual. The townhouse had been redecorated and the master shower was especially nice as were the comfy beds. The neighborhood provided a short, safe walk and the place was close to Trader Joe's, hiking trails and had great views of the mountains. We would stay there again.

Very nice stay
The home was spotlessly clean, which is important to me. Because of the way it is built it doesn't have a lot of natural light, but the owners have put many lamps around. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! The kitchen is very well equipped. I messaged Michelle several times about little items and she always returned my messages promptly. I saw a reviewer said it was noisy but we didn't think so at all. I thought it was very quiet.
If you're looking to put 8 people into one place, this is a reasonable place. If you're looking for a quiet place to retreat and relax, I didn't find it to meet my needs. We also had people from the neighborhood demanding to know how we rented the place. It's completely functional, but not pleasant.
Positives:
Clean, everything you need in the kitchen, nice library, sleeps 8, everything works; host was responsive.
Negatives:
Quite dark inside; noise from Oracle Rd; Fixtures and furniture are quite dated (think rusty, paint spotted, fixtures from the 70s in many cases); two full/double beds in the master bedroom made it feel like a bunk house rather than a retreat.
Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Check in was great. Property owner Michelle was quick to reply to any questions we had. We appreciated her assistance with sightseeing suggestions (property has brochures with information on local sites and eateries). Close to great bike trails along the river (short drive from property to trailhead parking lot). Property as described on website. Well stocked, comfortable furniture accommodating people 5’8” and 6’3” tall. Newer, clean washer and dryer which I greatly appreciated! Most comfortable beds we’ve ever had at a VRBO. My husband said internet speeds were great…no problems whatsoever (internet speed repeatedly tested at 50Mb or better). Our subscription services worked very well on their TV. Very centrally located to a variety of grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. We stayed about 6 weeks mid-Dec to late Jan 2024. Wonderful artwork and a large selection of books to read! We would stay again!
We stayed for a week and couldn't have been happier. It was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and there is lovely Southwestern art throughout the house. Checkin was easy. Great books too.
Clean & cozy. great location if you enjoy hiking. I went in February. The pool was not heated. There were some issues using the lock to get into the spa. Host responded promptly. Beds & couch comfortable.
