Hastings Barn at High Park, Indoor Pool

This beautiful 2 bedroom 2 story Barn has recently been converted transforming it into an ideal luxurious relaxing getaway. The Barns at High Park were originally built in the late 1800's and are situated in the heart of the North Devon coastline. It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.

High Park Barns has a secure, purpose-built 1 acre dog exercise field located on site. Designed with safety, freedom, and fun in mind, our fully enclosed field, with 1.8m high fencing, offers dogs the perfect space to run, play, and train off-lead in a safe and private environment. The dog field is open daily in the morning and evening for staying guests at no cost. Additional time can be booked during the day.

The barn is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is a shared indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.

Converted in 2015, this barn features a solid oak, super king bed in the master bedroom, all new solid oak furniture & staircase, leather sofas, recessed LED lighting and underfloor heating.

The barn has access to four 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination chargers.

The barn is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

Hastings Barn

We had a fantastic stay at High Park Barns! Everything was spotless and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The little touches like the fresh scones and bottle of milk were so thoughtful. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and it was perfect for our dog Mabel who loved having the dog field to run around in. The swimming pool and hot tub were brilliant – a real treat – and my daughters especially enjoyed the trampoline and pool. The hosts were friendly and made us feel right at home. We would definitely love to return!

Wonderful Christmas Stay

Have just returned from a quiet little Christmas break just myself, my husband our 11yr old and our dog. We were after a special little retreat for some quality family time and this was absolutely perfect! Hastings Barn was beautiful, everything a really high standard and spotlessly clean. Lovely and cosy with underfloor heating and we loved the special touches of milk,scones, jam and cream on arrival. The pool facilities were great and the timetable worked really well. Lovely peaceful location with beautiful views, yet only a few minutes from Atlantic Village, Clovelly and Westwood Ho! Wonderfully dog friendly with the dog paddock a bonus. Our son loved going to the milk kiosk at the farm next door and being able to make flavoured milk of his choice. Highly recommend, we hope to go back in the not to distant future! Thank you!

A little bit of luxury

Lovely little enclave of luxury in North Devon. The cottages are very well equipped and very comfortable. The swimming pool is a real treat with dedicate time for each property. Ann-Louise could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Fantastic

Loved our stay in Hastings Lodge. So many added extras that meant a lot. The barn had everything you need, amazingly comfortable bed, to die for bathroom and a very good coffee machine. The grounds are lovely, pool and hot tub were a luxury all to ourselves. Wonderful well kept place. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Will certainly be back.

We had a fantastic stay in Hastings Barn. We accessed the Barn easily following the clear instructions in the welcome email. Anne-Louise was a great host, she came to check we had settled in, was lovely and friendly and was quick to respond to any queries. We really appreciated the private use of the pool and hot tub. 4th stay

We have returned to High Park for the fourth time this year and have loved our time here as usual. The check in is seamless, the grounds seemed to be updated each year with a new driveway and the addition of charging ports this year, our barn was spotless (as always), and the swimming pool is always impeccable. My daughters and husband always look forward to the scones on arrival and we find it's the little things like this, that make the stay extra special. Ann Marie has always been on hand whenever we have had queries and we have never had a single problem in the 4 times we have visited.

Very nice stay

Our family of 4 had a great time at Hastings Barn. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub! The location was good - being relatively short drives out to a variety of beaches and tourist locations. We'd definitely stay again when coming to the area.

Well equipped and great swimming facilities

We've stayed at high park a few times and it never disappoints, providing access to a wide range of locations and activities. The barn is very well equipped, we love the swimming pool and jacuzzi. There is also Aircon in the bedrooms and a fabulous BBQ for hot days. The welcome scones are a nice touch too. The accomodation was very clean in the majority of areas, however more attention could be paid regards hovering of stairway and under sofas (sorry fussy customer). I recommend a walk to the lake, take a drink to enjoy on the decking area. Thanks for our stay!
