Great little apartment with fantastic views across the estuary.

Great little apartment with fantastic views across the estuary. Location fantastic with a ten minute walk to Instow and the beach. Apartment very well equipped. Lovely little touches with decorations ( almost too many not leaving much work top space in the kitchen). Up to date photos would be good on cottages.comMay be a bit cosy with 4 adults (we were 3 adults and dog )Slightly nit picking, would have helped to have settee across the lounge facing TV. Got a bit of neck ache. ( Especially if 3 people sharing the sofa)Would recommend

As soon as we entered Galleon's Reach, we felt welcome and at home.

As soon as we entered Galleon's Reach, we felt welcome and at home. There was a bowl of clean water ready for our dog, as well as treats, towels and tennis ball. There was also a welcome basket with scones, jam & cream, as well as a lovely bottle of wine and two glasses (who could resist!). The views of the estuary are beautiful and the area is peaceful. If you don't fancy driving, you can easily walk to the beach at Instow which is dog friendly. The pubs allow dogs if you want to eat there. If you don't want to walk along the main road there is a pleasant walk through fields instead. Both bedrooms are a good size, have decent storage space and the bedding provided is good quality. The apartment is situated in a handy location for exploring Devon without spending half the day in the car. It rained quite a bit during our week but it didn't spoil our holiday.
