Just left this superb property. Everything you need to make it a truly wonderful holiday. Came to support our son in the Ironman. Perfect time, thank you to our host and to the people of Wales, unforgettable!
Very nice house, really spacious with lots of bed rooms and bath rooms in a quite area. A large garden for kids to play and a terrace for chilling outside. Very clean, good communication with the owner. The nearby pub is unfortunately closed, but there is another one down the street with a few minutes walk away.
We stayed here as 6 adults, 2 children and 1 dog and wow it’s an incredible house in a fantastic location , close to the beach, local pub and Tenby. The house has totally equipped with everything you need for a get together away from home ! Highly recommend this place! It’s only a few miles fromTenby , which you can walk to along the beach , catch the train or bus or drive ! Cannot wait to return with friends
Big, spacious house. Large rooms, very comfortable, lovely garden and lots of parking. Super location, easy walk to the beach and then into Tenby. WiFi at the downstairs bedroom end of house needs rebooting or a new extender as did not connect. Maybe some more explicit instructions regarding recycling disposal. All in all a great place to stay with our family and we had a wonderful time.
Enjoyed our 3 day break, perfect location for Tenby/Saundersfoot and the beaches. Late booking but everything went well via texts with the owner.
A large detached house with big garden with table & chairs and BBQ in warmer weather.
Internal rooms are large and comfy.
Quiet setting but close to local pubs and a village store.
Would highly recommend.
Exactly as it was described and shown on the website, this house has everything you need for a lovely break away. Easy to walk into Tenby or down to Penally beach but also has its own lovely garden you can relax in as well. Kitchen was really well equipped and lots of games in the lounge and garden as well. It gets the sun beautifully so it warms up so we found it useful to leave the blinds down when we were out in the day so it wasn’t too hot to come back to!Beds were all comfy and so much space for 2 families of four to enjoy and not feel like we were on top of each other. Definitely one to come back to - thank you!

Spacious Property
Huge property, well equipped with good heating system.A few things need updating in the info books and on the app, our access code was incorrect so had to contact the owner on arrival and the password and wifi info was incorrect on the app and in the book. Just use the sticker on the box.Fantastic value for money in a lovely rural setting, close to the beach, pub and Tenby. Great place for dog too. Plenty of bathrooms and enormous bedrooms.
This property worked really well for us a family of 6 adults and 2 young children plus a dog. The utility room was very handy for the dog. There is plenty of space and a large garden. The house was pretty clean with a few exceptions like the skirting boards and front door area. The house is well equipped although the coffee maker is missing a few items. Overall we would recommended the property for a relaxed family stay.
The property is lovely I felt it needed some tlc in some areas but on the whole a great base and a good size. The lounge was too small for us all to sit in we were 7 so for 8 it would have been a real squeeze. The 'host' didn't respond to a message I sent. The access no. sent didn't work but my son figured out what it might be. . Overall our weekend was great. I think directions on the website could be a help it want easy to find in the dark!
We stayed as a group of 6 adults and 2 dogs. The property was ample size to accommodated us with large bedrooms and reception areas. All mod cons provided. While the general cleanliness of the property was excellent, we had to give the dishwasher a good clean before using and there were some cobwebs around the coving. There are some areas that would benefit from a little TLCs (some worn decor) and some more seating in the living room (consisted of only 2 x 3 seater settees while property sleeps 8). That being said would definitely use the property agains and recommend to others.
A spacious light and airy property with a nice big garden for the dogs (not secure but my two don't want to run off).
Very well equipped and practical.
The property has an annex which had people in but this was not a problem.
Beach, train station, local pub, bakery and Tenby all in walking distance.
Would recommend!!
......Oh and we met the cleaner who was very helpful and informative.
We loved the property and it was much bigger than expected. Only downfall is that it is advertised as enclosed garden but it isn’t. Thank you for the stay
We all had an amazing weeks stay helped by the lovely weather. The house is situated in a quaint village with a couple of pubs close by, ‘the cross inn’ did fantastic meals. The house was lovely and spacious and the garden was great for the dog. Its a short drive to Tenby but if you like walking then it’s a short stroll down to the beach then it’s a picturesque walk up the beach and into Tenby. Would highly recommend the house and would definitely stop there again :-)). Any golf enthusiasts book on to Tenby golf course as it was a real treat of a golf course.
Lovely spacious house, plenty of room indoors and in the garden for the family to spread out. Nice quiet location. Amazing garden, enjoyed the barbecue and watching the sheep. Penally beach was great and only a short walk. Easy to get to Tenby and shops. Happily stay here again.
Lovely property in a small village 5 mins from Tenby. Spacious and modern interior and equipped with all you could need for your stay.
A good base to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline and nearby towns and villages. Excellent communication with owners, we had a issue with WiFi codes on arrival and it was sorted via email within 30 minutes
Piako is a great house in a perfect location. The village itself is very quiet but only a 40 minute walk/5 min drive into Tenby. All the rooms are spacious ensuring that we were not on top of each other when we did have a day of rain. The garden is lovely with great sea views. The only downside to this property was the cleanliness - one of the bedrooms did not have clean sheets as when we arrived at the property the sheets were covered in dog hairs. The washing machine and dryer meant that this was not a real issue but it did make us slightly skeptical of the deep clean which had been done for our arrival
Overall, I would say that all in our party enjoyed our stay. Really liked the location, Penally village is beautiful and the beach and local attractions are nearby.
I think in terms of the house we didn’t realise that there is a ground floor attached to the house. From Saturday to Monday a family with young children occupied the flat. We have a young family but are past the early mornings crying stage. On the Monday a new turnover in guests and a couple checked in. No early wake up call but if you were in the room above the flat you could hear the loo flushing, the hum of talking - and I’m certain they must have heard my family!
What we liked about the house was the spacious rooms, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and tableware should you want to cook. The homeowner also thoughtfully had plenty of outdoor kids games for borrowing and the large garden was great for burning excess energy in.
While we had a pleasant stay and there were plenty of positives I would say for us it won’t be a repeat return for that we want a fully detached house to ourselves. Thank you
The property is in a good location with an approx 1 mile walk to South Beach through Penally village, over the golf course and sand dunes.
All rooms were spacious, well appointed and comfortable.
Our stay was probably the first post lockdown and the property allowed a relaxing time with lovely views and friendly but not intrusive neighbours.
Overall a good choice to which we may well return.
We stayed on 20th March before the lock down.. The setting was so quiet and picturesque that we totally chilled out. After all the chaos with the Corona has died down we will definitely be going back
