This is a lovely apartment in Trastevere, in a neighborhood that has a very fun nighttime vibe. Our host, Ekaterina, was amazing. The entire check-in process was seamless. She provided lots of info about restaurants and points of interest. It's in a great location for restaurants, there are quite a few on the same block. Would highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for fun nighttime ambiance that's walkable.
Positive: This is a spacious apartment and the host was responsive. The neighborhood has great restaurants and vibrant nightlife.
Not as Expected: The description notes two king beds while elsewhere as doubles. We found the bedroom off the tv room with a double bed and the bedroom off the kitchen a slightly wider bed (neither are king size). My husband and I selected the bed off the kitchen and put the children in the smaller double beds. We found our mattress had a hump in the middle and depressions on either side which made us feel like we were sliding downhill all night. The wifi did not work in our bedroom (works in the other rooms) and the cell service is spotty. The washing machine cannot run without turning off the AC or it flips the main breaker and shuts off power to the apartment. The bathroom door has no lock. The shower is less than 30 inches wide so your elbows hit the walls. The drainage is poor so the shower pan fills up quickly and you stand in a couple inches of dirty water. The toilet button needs to be pumped to work and sometimes doesn't. In all, the bathroom feels like something in a youth hostel with cracked tiles and gunky caulking. Prepare for many stairs to the upper unit and lots of noise at night from the bar across the street then the garbage trucks. The instructions require that you walk 5 min with sorted trash for recycling or be charged 10 Euro which is not included in the cleaning fee.

Dear Jeanne, thank you for your message and it was a pleasure to have you as our guests! Appreciate very much all your notes and we will make a treasure of it! The apartment is situated in the antique building in a famous in all the world for being lively and full of activities central district of Rome Trastevere. It is absolutely not necessary to turn off all the AC presented in the apartment, but we recommend to "moderate" the use of all the electric outlets at the same time in the apartment. The beds have the memory foam mattresses and usually all of our guests are very comfortable to rest on them, but i guess it is very personal feeling and understand very well your position. They are 160x200cm and 140x200cm in the bedrooms and there is the sofa bed with 160x200cm mattress, one of the bedroom have the single sofa bed, we have indicated the exact sizes on the profile of the apartment for our guests. In the apartment we have the last model of the Vodafone fiber optical station wifi. Be sure if you have mentioned that the water did not drained as fast as you desired, we would immediately to come for check. Our beautiful district is historical and we have a very narrow streets that don't permit to have the fixed big garbage bins downstairs of every building, otherwise we could not walk :) All the central districts of Rome have the collection points where we bring our garbage and we ask please our guests to take care about it. We appreciate very much all the collaboration as it is very important for keeping our city clean! Thank you again and we are very happy that you liked how spaced was the apartment and appreciated our responsiveness. We wish you all the best and hope to meet you one day again in Rome!
