INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

vacation 2021

Condo was very clean and plenty of towels. Very minimal furniture on balcony and needs more hooks in the bathrooms. But overall a great stay and vacation.

It was not clean when we got there the floors were nasty. The bathrooms were ok. Hair all over the floor and bed. In the master. 🤮 I call for housekeeping he came with a dry mop!

Filthy and disappointing

It took us an entire day to get the refrigerator and freezer to proper temps. The toaster looked as if someone slammed it into their head or knee. All bar stools were unable to use as we were afraid they would break. There was literally DUCT TAPE on the table. Closet door in guest room completely off hinges. Floors had our feet black on day 1. Unfortunately, we were a group of 17 (5 children 12 & under) staying in 3 separate condos so, we all felt stuck. The food, drinks and staff were very friendly (except the front desk). The pool was very nice, as was the beach. I would stay elsewhere but, will not return to Panama...full of college kids and cigarette butts.

Condo good - Red Tide not so much

Condo was pretty good! Loved the tile floors and how roomy it was for my family of 4. With 3 full bathrooms, none of us had to stand in line very long :) Lovely views, and quiet neighbors the entire stay. I purchased an oven mitt and a few mixing bowls and left them for the owner or next guest because it appeared some of the typical things you'd find weren't there, but we still had what we needed for the kitchen minus a couple of little things. The patio furniture is pretty worn out, and there were alot of splatters on the walls that I was afraid if I hadn't reported to the Panhandle Getaway team might be blamed on us, but they assured us that we would be ok. Middle bathroom had a leaking light inside of the shower, but about 20 minutes after I reported it, the Maintenance team was on it and was fixed right away. Very impressed with their Maintenance service. I had never heard of Red Tide before, and I've been to the beach in September TONS of times. This time, though has ruined me from ever wanting to return to the beach. I now know that Red Tide means alot of dead fish and eels spread all over the beach to rot all day long in the sun and cause breathing problems for everyone due to the bacteria in the water and the air. 2 days ruined for us, but that has nothing to do with the condo...but I do caution others to verify Red Tide will not affect your trip and plan accordingly. Should I ever decide to return to the beach, I would definitely stay here again as long as there is no more Red Tide. That was a bad experience, but everything else was ok. Oh, one last thing, Parking space is T-I-G-H-T in a corner of the parking lot. You should be a very experienced driver to use that spot! There's only one reserved spot, so if you're traveling with more than one licenced driver and vehicle, you should make note of this.

Property in state of disrepair

Black mold, shattered light fixture, dishwasher leaked, drapes off tracks and would not open/close, one toilet was leaking when we arrived and continued to leak - used bathmat to get up water and floor was dirty, another toilet was obviously not cleaned (visibly filthy - I cleaned it)

Florida vacation

Second year we are coming to the Panama City beach for our vacation and we are always choosing the same resort Shores of panama. This place is awesome, location, pool,but the room (604)we had this time was awful. Dusty, dirty walls, dirty and smells bad kitchen cabinets, not enough cooking dishes, furniture need to be upgraded, there was no table at all. With 6 people in the room we were using bar ( 3 stools) and coffee table to eat our food. And plus to all of this we killed a few crouches. We had 6 families, 6 units was reserved but no one was complaining about this bugs. I'm not coming back to this unit again unless a changes been made .

Awesome stay!

This property was everything we thought it was to be! The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, the property was very well maintained! The room was spacious and gave everyone their own space! The kitchen was very well stocked with every cooking utensils/dish you could need. Will be back to this property!!!

It was ok

Bunk beds were wobbly and ladder was broken. Was afraid to let my teenage daughter sleep on top for fear of it breaking so we had to sleep 3 in king bed.

Very nice property! Had an issue with some mold due to the unit being shut up and no air left on. Unit was nicely decorated and stocked with everything we needed.

Condo not clean at check in. Had to wait at pool for 3 hours to get in. Furniture broken and condo just was horrible. Hurricane mandatory evacuation force us to leave leave on Tuesday morning. So drove 1000 miles for nothing and should be refunded.

Good location and great view of the pool. Partial beach view.

This condo was plenty of room for us. The living room and bedrooms were a great size. View to pool was great, and you could see part of the beach as well. We enjoyed our stay. There could definitely be an upgrade on some of the furniture though. The kitchen table was duct taped together and only had two chairs. There is one couch and two sitting chairs. Most of the patio chairs were broken/uneven. But overall, it was a nice condo. Had most cooking necessities. Would be nice if there were cleaning supplies as well.

Beaches for days

The view from the condo was amazing! Condo was nice and clean. Lot's of room. More then what I was expecting. The beaches are amazing! Whitest sand you'll ever see.

Utilized vrbo for spring break with high school kids. Good location and great beach. Specific condo needed a little tlc - carpet worn out and extremely wobbly chairs, but overall was satisfied with the condo for the trip. Service related to the booking and check in were excellent!
