This Beachfront residence features 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 full baths and over 3200 sq ft of living space that accommodates a maximum of 9-10 comfortably. Completely renovated in 2014, this home has gorgeous wood ceiling beams through out each room. A full kitchen, new appliances and two eating areas for preparing and serving, The Great Room includes 36 feet of ocean view with two 10 foot sliders to access the 300 sq ft pebble tech patio overlooking the beach. Two large sofas, huge stone fireplace and 55 inch Smart TV features NetFlix for evening relaxation. Internet access to the beach with most cell phones services working well. Bring your family and enjoy the quiet serenity of Playa La Mision. Caretaker will check in/out..Private, Gated, Security.

Magical View

There were 6 of us enjoying this property. We had a very functional kitchen and large living and dining area. The best part were the 3 large multi level decks to enjoy the view of the waves crashing on the beach or the sunsets. We used the outdoor fireplace twice. We will be back!

Long Get Away Weekend

During a long weekend getaway, my family and I visited the La Mision property that had the perfect house décor that suited our taste. We indulged in cooking fine food, exploring the nearby wine region, and taking daily long walks on the beach. The decks offered spectacular views, and we were thrilled to spot dolphins and whales playing in the ocean. The property owner was highly responsive to our needs. We had an incredible time and can't wait to visit again.

gorgeous spot RIGHT on the beach

We stayed here for 6 days over Thanksgiving. We were a varied family group. My 94 year old mother was with us as well as my 7 year old daughter and every age in between. Everyone enjoyed it. Many steps down to the beach but my mom was able to do it with some help. Kitchen very well stocked. We mostly cooked in and had everything we needed. We ate out one night at Splash and had a great Mexican meal, much appreciated by everyone. The surf is big. very good for boogie boarding, skim boarding. Not so good for kite boarding and so-so for surfing this weekend. we had warmer than expected weather for this time of year but I recommend a wet suit. The owner was easy to work with. If you are looking for a pacific ocean stay this place is great!

Wow!!!! From the first communication with Steve....to arriving at the most beautiful home!

We come to Playa La Mision on a regular basis. It is just the best white sandy beach with total privacy in Baja. Steve's home did not disappoint. Sometimes you arrive at a rental to find it is not as described. The entrance to the home with wide open views, the spiral staircase, the beautiful decks and the furnishings are so perfect. The wood fireplace kept us entertained and nice and hot all night long. Steve put us in touch with a nice local who delivered a truck load of wood. We used a lot since it was cozy with the rain outside. The kitchen is fully stocked for my days spent preparing organic vegetables from the local farmers markets. A chef's dream, especially during Covid and not wanting to go to the restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was well worth paying top dollar for this experience. Thank you STEVE!! We will be back, hopefully soon.

Beautiful property!

We loved the house! The view was incredible and just steps away from a safe and beautiful beach. We enjoyed the comfy beds and ample outdoor seating. Our only complaint was the dishwasher wasn't working. Steve was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. We would definitely come back!

Stunning gem on the beach

What an amazing place. It was the perfect spot to create memories with our family. Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks in La Mision. It was fun to get everybody together for meals, coffee, watching the sunset but also having room for privacy as well. Kitchen is pretty well equipped and the courtyard is perfect for bbqs & relaxation. The great room provides stunning views and plenty of space for getting together without feeling crowded. Can't wait to go back!

Surpassed all expectations

Steve’s home could not have been a bigger delight. The home is beautiful, peaceful, and private - the deck and view is even more impressive than you’d think. Close to the grocery store, an easy jumping off point to Valle de Guadalupe, and on the beach - Baja perfection.

Great location and Very Nice Home

This house was great. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and lots of space to lounge inside or out. Behind the great room are two bedrooms. The first is the largest of all the rooms, and has a private bathroom. The one behind that has a full and a bunk. All beds were very comfortable, and the sheets and covers were all of high quality. This is not so common with these rentals. The two bedrooms on the lower floor both had full ocean views, and are identical for the most part. A bathroom is in between them. These are also very nice rooms. What you can't tell from the photos is that the main courtyard area with the pizza oven and two bbqs is before the main entry door to the house, and is sheltered from the ocean breezes. The picure with the brick arches and the chair is facing this area. We used this area quite a bit, as it got a bit chilly sometimes on the ocean facing balcony. The view from the great room is spectacular. All new fixed and sliding glass, making a 40' wall of glass for the view. The balcony is very large and inviting, with a large hammock and some rocking chairs. The deck below that can be accessed directly from the lower bedrooms is very large. The one below that, with the fireplace and chairs, is also quite large. We only used the outdoor fireplace once, but really enjoyed it. Things to know: From the front door all the way down to the sand, there are approximately 65 steps. That's a lot for someone with mobility issues. It was a bit of work for my old labrador too, but he loved the beach. (The beach is mostly empty, with on ly a few folks walking or running, or groups of horses with riders strolling by from time to time.) Bring lots of water. The tap water isn't filtered, and this is Mexico... In La Mision there is a little market across the street from Magana's that sells 10 liter bottles for less than $5. Stock up. Oh, and Magana's has some pretty darn good chilaquiles and cheap, tasty cocktails. La Fonda (Dmitry's) is the closest place to eat, and is great for dinner. Archer's pizza and the cafe next door for espresso drinks is also nice to know about early on. If planning on going to the Guadalupe valley for wine or restaurants, taking the road right in front of the community is faster than the toll road, and a beautiful drive. You will find this house to be more impressive than the photos can convey. It is quite updated, and all very well conceived. My whole family loved staying here.

Beautiful home on the best beach in the area

This house was perfect for our 2 families. The views from the 3 levels of patios are stunning, and the courtyard is lovely for BBQing. We even used the pizza oven one night! The kitchen is well equipped and the large living space was more than comfortable. We learned that La Mision is the best swimming beach in the area (thought the water was still very cold this early in June, it didn't deter the kids!), and the cute little town has all the amenities you might need. It's a 40 minute drive to Ensenada and 15 minutes to Puerto Nuevo for more dining options. We also drove the 45 minutes into the Valle de Guadalupe on 2 occasions for great wine tasting and amazing lunches. Check out bajabyhorse.com for awesome rancho and beach rides. We'll definitely be back!

Favorite beach house

I got to Baja quite often, and this house is now my favorite, for now. Very clean, brand new remodeled. It was very easy to contact with Steve, very nice guy, gave me instructions how to get there and whatever I needed. The house is new and very clean. Kitchen has all the necessary appliances and amenities. Rooms are very clean, 2 of them with a beautiful view to the ocean. There are not enough pictures to justify and describe the house. I felt like home here. Definitely will recommend this house.

Beach front paradise

We had a great time at this beach front property! My group of 8 had plenty of room. Might have been nice to be closer to a town with more amenities but the beach was beautiful and the photos just don’t do this place justice. Well equipped and obviously used by a family. Jose the guard is great for local tips and super friendly. Google maps is incorrect on the best way to get to the house- trust Steve’s directions. Thanks for the great experience Steve!

Perfect place for our group trip

We had a group of 10 to stay at this beautiful home over Labor Day weekend. It was PERFECT! Loved the easy access and being literally on the beach, super comfortable, everything we needed + more. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking for big groups, there are speakers to play music in the living room, and a hammock to chill on and listen to the waves. Great location, host was super helpful. 10/10 recommend.

Casa Ceilito is the perfect beach getaway!

The photos don’t do this house justice. 8 of us converged for a reunion and all were impressed with the comfort of this house. The open kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace and upper balcony with in encumbered views of the Pacific Ocean, is an amazing place to relax. The kitchen was better equipped than any other VRBO house, and checking in and out was an absolute breeze. All 4 bedrooms were very comfortable, and all 3 bathrooms functioned perfectly. It overlooks a lovely beach with more clams, mussels, and other shellfish than you can shake a stick at, and if we hadn’t bought so much food it would have been simple to forage up a cioppino. Angela was a love and set up wood in the fireplace for us to enjoy an evening fire. The owner Steve was very responsive, and has created an idyllic retreat from the cares of the world. This place is perfect for families or groups of friends who just want to relax, take walks on the beach, boogie board (boards provided) hike, fish, ride horses on the beach, visit wineries or whatever. You can’t go wrong here, and we will definitely return to this little slice of paradise.

We loved our stay in this awesome home. The pictures don’t do it justice - it exceeded our expectations. Great layout, stunning views and very well equipped with everything you need. Steve, the owner, was super helpful and answered any questions we had. Jose at the gate was very friendly and Angela was great at check in. Great getaway!

This place was all that was advertised and then some. The pictures really don’t do it justice, the view is great, the living area and bedrooms are all spacious and clean. We used the kitchen the whole time and was never short a dish or pan. All the bathrooms worked and were very clean and well stocked. The best part is the outside, all 3 balcony areas were great, with the hammock and lounge chairs used almost 24 hours a day. Angela was very accommodating and her brother Jose the gate guard helped us out as well. We went to la Fonda one night for dinner, which was a 2 minute drive away. Overall Steve’s place was great for our group of 10 and we look forward to being back!

Such a beauty~full little getaway! Celebrated my 30th birthday with 8 of my girlfriends and woke up every morning to the magical sounds of the ocean and ended the day soaking in blissful sunsets! The house was everything we could have imagined & more - beautifully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, numerous little lounging/kick-back spots, surf boards, boogie boards and a beach to ourselves <3 One weekend was NOT enough time to fully enjoy this little slice of heaven and we are already planning our next trip across the border to paradise! Thank you Angela for the warm welcoming and Steve for being so accommodating to make this a weekend we will never forget! ~~~
