Would stay here again. Good location and easy to walk to Bellagio. Only thing is the outside lights stayed on until midnight and if you’re staying in the back rooms it’s very bright in the room.

Great location and apartment! We had a group of 6 stay to check out Bellagio for the day. Far walk into downtown Bellagio but it’s no problem with a car.

We stayed for two nights in this airy and comfortable ground floor flat in San Giovanni near Bellagio. Francesca the host is very friendly and communicated well. The apartment is spacious and well air-conditioned and only a few minutes walk to the San Giovanni ferry boat . We didn't use the garden because of the weather, but you'll need insect repellent in the lakes if you want to sit outside in the afternoon and evening. To get to the flat you have to go through a very narrow section of road - we had to fold in the wing mirrors on our rental SUV and go very slowly. Once through there is plenty of parking and the area is quiet and residential. There are several food shops in Bellagio but be aware that they close by 19.30. We had a very nice meal at Ristorante Alle Darsene di Loppia (which is walkable), and we enjoyed the friendly service at the Angolo DiVino Enoteca in Bellagio.

Spacious Bellagio property

Enjoyed all the space this property provided. Bedrooms, living room and kitchen were all very spacious and the 2 bathrooms were newly remodeled and very nice. We were an adult family of 6 and a medium sized dog. We loved the private fenced yard and dog pool! Dog bowls and towels were also provided! Good location to beach and free parking (narrow drive so only smaller cars will fit) Walkable to Bellagio but recommend cutting through the Gardens of Villa Melzi to avoid busy road. Would definitely stay here again!

Francesca’s place was everything my friends and I had hoped for on our trip to Bellagio. We could walk easily into Bellagio or catch a very quick bus. Her place was very clean and spacious, and she did a great job of comunnication. Would highly recommend!

The property is beautiful lots of room for our family of five. The only negative is the walking distance to the town approximately 1.2 miles. Buses are not on a regular schedule and we were unable to get a taxi on our departure date. Book early for departure taxi to ferry or leave early to wait for bus.

Superb home, just as nice as it looks in the photos. Comfy beds, big bathrooms, a wonderful back yard, and huge glass-paned doors everywhere to let in the cool air and lots of light. We would have liked a bit more shelving in the bathrooms, but we are having a hard time coming up with other suggestions for improvement! It is a 30 minute walk to town, but Ubers can actually be called if a private taxi is not available. We loved walking, but when it is raining hard, the ride hail can be a nice alternative. The couple times we called an Uber it cost around 25 Euros.

Amazing views but would recommend a car.

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's in Bellagio. The house felt more like a home and we settled in nicely. In future, I think we would stay somewhere a bit closer in to the town centre as it is quite a long and hilly walk on a busy road to get to the hub of Bellagio. There is an option to purchase a walk through the Villa (which is beautiful however adds up if you are doing so numerous times a day). Nonetheless if you are looking for a bit more of a secluded vibe, this place would be perfect. You have a gorgeous cafe NeNe a very short walk and we had some lovely dinners at Riverside Snack Bar. We found a nice swimming spot by the lake not far from the house... which we were very grateful for as it was incredibly hot and we were missing a swimming pool. I hope in future the outdoor furniture might be upgraded. My husband and I both ripped our pants on exposed nails sitting on the brown lounges!

Ideal Family Apartment

Very spacious with one bedroom and bathroom slightly removed from the second bathroom and bedrooms so ideal for those who don't need to be woken by the baby! Enclosed garden with table tennis table and good garden furniture. Plenty of storage space. Good location for lakeside beach and a couple of good restaurants. About 1 mile walk into Bellagio and a little less to the supermarket, with a bus stop about 5 mins walk if you don't like walking.
