Calado Duplex

Modern and stylish two bedroom duplex in Penha de França. Air conditioning, wifi and cable TV. Accomodates a maximum of 5 people.



Fantastic duplex situated in Penha de França in the 2nd floor of a building without elevator. The apartment was totaly renovated. In the entrance floor there is a living room with seating area, a TV and a table with chairs where you can enjoy your meals. The open kitchen is modern and has everything you can ask for. Oven, stove, fridge freezer full size, microwave, dish washer, washing machine etc. It has also one bathroom with a shower cabin. There is air conditioning on this floor. In the upper floor you have two bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has a single or double bed. Both bedrooms have roof windows and airconditioning. There is another bathroom with a shower.

Buses are available at a few meters, lines 706, 735 and 797 and the closest metro station (Arroios - Praça do Chile) is at walking distance.

The design, decoration and materials make this a unique apartment for you to enjoy your Lisbon discovery.



Please note that renovation works will be carried out on one of the building's apartment, starting on October 2023, with an expected duration of 5 months. Some noise may occur.

Great space in what seemed to be a family neighborhood. Quiet at night with some good food in the area. Not a tourist area, which is what I like. Tourist area is about a 35 minute walk or you can take an Uber or taxi if you prefer. Spent the majority of the time out and about so did not use the kitchen; however, it seemed adequately stocked with utensils, et al. If I go back, I would look to stay here again.

We loved this bright and quiet apartment! It was spotless, the bed and living areas very comfortable and we loved the location. It was within walking distance to everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment! Great location, quiet and very clean!

I would highly recommend this location in Lisbon, it’s close enough to all the hot spots like Bairo Alto but far enough that it’s a quiet residential neighborhood, you can sleep soundly even with the windows open. AC units in all rooms make it comfortable even on hot days. The apartment is beautiful decorated, very well equipped and super clean! We will definitely stay again!

Lots of stairs. Don’t carry a big suitcase unless you are strong & mighty. 😀 Wonderful local restaurant and easy bus ride on 735. Grocery store 2 minute walk.

Lovely apartment. 3 flights upstairs. Bathroom shower was nice but the sinks are small. Great kitchen and living area. Stairs to the bedrooms have no railing.

Restful and peaceful flat

Downstairs is great. The stairs to the other floor work well but care is needed not to bang you head. The flat was spotless and was warm wheb we turned the a/c on. Great supermarket around the corner. I ternet worked well

Well equipped

This quaint apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable three night stay in Lisbon. It was the nicest accommodation so far in Portugal and we didn't mind the distance to the centre once we mastered the metro We loved that this accommodation had functional amenities and the air conditioning was a blessing given the arctic conditions outside. Highly recommend.

Well appointed apartment. Suitable size . , stairs to bedrooms a bit scary, not for kids! Lights in hallway and down stairs were half not working requiring your own lighting , issue raised but not addressed during our stay. Little far from metro.

Nice place; good location

This is one of several properties managed by the same company. There were also a few rules about washing dishes and emptying garbage that surprised us. Great communication throughout the stay. Laura was very responsive and helpful. The location was about a 10 min walk to the subway. The apartment is pleasant and comfortable but not luxurious. There are a few unusual features like a lock that has no turn knob but an old fashioned key, which was both quaint and unfamiliar. The neighbor has not gentrified so it is a sense of “real” Lisbon. Lots of small stores in the area.

Precioso apartamento duplex. Todo muy limpio, nuevo y completamente equipado para cualquier cosa que necesites. No faltaba ni un detalle. Claudia la chica que nos dio las llaves encantadora. En la zona tienes supermercados y comercios de todo tipo. El único inconveniente es que se encuentra algo alejado de las zonas turísticas y aunque tiene una estación de metro cerca cuando estuve estaba en obras y nos tocó usar taxi que para 4 personas salía más barato que el transporte público. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Très bien situé

Très bien situé. Lieu résidentiel avec rue peu passante d'où le calme et le silence en soirée et la nuit. Accès au métro à dix minutes de marche. Quelques kilomètres de l'aéroport. Logement que je qualifierais de luxueux, totalement équipé pour ce qui est des accessoires de cuisine, lave-linge etc. Nous avons initialement craint que la petite chambre ne ferait pas l'affaire pour le couple, toutefois après avoir modifié le lit simple pour en faire un lit double, tout était parfait, amplement suffisamment d'espace dans cette pièce pour y être confortable à deux. Si je puis me permettre, je suggérerais au propriétaire de faire l'ajustement requis au bon glissement de la porte coulissante de la salle de bain à l'étage. Pour le reste, les deux couples que nous étions considérons avoir été choyés par ce logement.
