This one bedroom, one bathroom garden apartment is located on York Street and just across from Oglethorpe Square. Located on the ground level of a Historic home, guests love being in the heart of the Historic District. Enjoy all the comforts of a hotel but with more living space in an historic setting.

From York Street, you’ll enter into the living room, which has two large comfortable couches for relaxing (everyone deserves their own couch right!). A small desk provides the digital nomad with a place to work. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, toaster oven, and coffee maker - enough to reheat some of those savory meals from one of Savannah’s exquisite dining experiences, or just enjoy a cup of coffee.

The bedroom has a queen-sized four-poster bed and ensuite bath with a shower/tub combo and pedestal sink. The fireplace, now decorate, is original to the home and gives the room a warm, welcoming feel.

This home is ideally located within a short walk to many of Savannah’s historic points-of-interest and incredible selection of dining options. Try the Conquistador sandwich at Zunzi’s, made famous by the Travel Channel’s Adam Richman. Have a sweet tooth? An evening stroll to Leopold’s Ice Cream is the perfect way to spend any Savannah evening. You’ll be well situated to explore Savannah’s rich history with the Owens Thomas House and the Davenport House Museum both just a block away.

The property was centerd in the historic district which allowed for quick and convenient access to most all the attractions we were seeking to do, and most within walking distance. The host updates and process was turn key and very easy. This is a very unique unit that we would look forward to returning to when in the area again in the future.

The flat is lovely! Street level entrance with cute flickering outdoor lights. 2 cozy couches and a desk in the main living area. The queen poster bed is appropriately placed in the classic designed space. It is in a great location just across from Oglethorpe Square. We were able to walk to the River within 7-8 minutes. Forsyth Park was a little farther but walking gave us the opportunity to enjoy cute boutiques, restaurants, book stores, etc along the way.

Walking Distance to just about everything

Great Stay! Definitely recommend Lucky Savannah for any additional stays. It was walking distance to Olde Pink House, Collins Quarters and Broughton St. We rented a car to travel some outside of the downtown area but if your staying local it’s an easy trip to Uber wherever you need to and save on the rental car. The Downtowner(Sav Uber) is free in the historic district.

Neat Apartment

Perfect little place to take a break from all Savannah has to offer for a couple or single person. No kitchen and parking is not the best with on street. Guest above were extremely loud when present. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed.

Overall a fantastic location and fun getaway. Parking could have been an issue but used the Savannah Park app and was easy to do. I would just suggest a Keurig. There was an older coffee pot but no coffee/ creamers/ etc. So if you go, take snacks/ drinks/ coffe/ tea/ water. Will stay again!

Lovely Area

The location was amazing. Walking distance to everything. The apartment was super clean save beautiful. We had an issue with our code checking in but called the property manager and had a new code immediately. Our mini fridge also was not in working order but they had a maintenance man replace it within an hour. I would recommend this place highly.

Quaint Apartment in Wonderful Location

However, managment needs to pay closer attention to details for the stocking of the small amount in the kitchen; coffee maker with coffee but no mugs doesn't make for a welcoming morning cup :) as well as wine glasses without an opener :/ Also, the only lamp on the dresser did not light; making the dresser area pretty dark. Overall the accommodations were good; just a little pricy to be missing attention to basic detail.

We bought a parking pass and were lucky enough to get the space right in front of the apartment and didn't move the car for three days!The only negatives about the apartment(and the reason for 4 stars)are:Lack of a closet and no iron or board.Residents and a dog living right above the apartment. Lots of foot and paw steps and the noise of daily living, conversations and guitar playing.Awkward furniture in the living room with no coffee table to set your coffee....or wine.

Great place - shame about the neighbors

Great apartment and a great find in escaping Hurricane Milton. Ideally located, etc etc. Savanah is just wonderful and this place puts it at your feet. Two spoilers - (1) VRBO makes a point of charging for housekeeping - so with the AC thermostat showing change filter and the filter itself covered in dust inside and outside, you'd think this would not happen. Small detail maybe, but when you have a guest with respiratory illness, it really matters. (2) Savannah is of course old houses with thin walls and wooden floors. That said listening to the upstairs guests coming and going at 1am and 3am every night, their dog left alone crying most hours, and the rolling of furniture across the floor (our ceiling) every might after midnight is a bit much. If you own the property upstairs consider how you mitigate this. If you don't, be wary it's a potential spoiler for any guests.

A great Birthday Weekend in Savannah

The location to City Market and River street was awesome! It's also nice to have living space instead of just a a room as you would get with a hotel. This condo is on the bottom floor and you were able to hear folks living above you - their conversations almost perfectly. Looking back, the kitchenette wasn't bad, but I think I would have preferred a full size refrigerator. Other than that, the kitchenette was fine. Zunzi's is right down the road from here - a great lunch spot! We also did a segway tour with Segway of Savannah - our first time and definitely recommend it for a cool way to learn Savannah's history.

About the size of a hotel rooom

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Downtown Savannah is a wonderful place to visit. If location is the primary goal, this is a great place to stay. It is on the tour bus and horse carriage route in the heart of the city. The apt is about the same size as a hotel room but with nicer furniture. Just know that there is no microwave, dishwasher, or ice (dorm mini fridge), wifi is slow, and because it is on the tour route, it can get loud. The biggest issue for us was parking. The metered parking out front has a 3 hour limit. We discovered this was the case all around this area. Therefore, you are forced to go down the street to a $10/day parking deck if you dont' want to keep feeding the meter.

Reviewer Comments: This is the second time staying here and I would not try a third. While the property is clean, beautiful and in a great location the noise from the upper unit, which is also a rental, is unbelievable. Very poor nights sleeping while what sounds like a herd of water buffalo roam above your head on the wooden floor. Both times the upper unit was rented to loud and obnoxious groups of partying women. Never coming back.Also, front door had issues both times I visited (sticking & combo lock not working). Requiring assistance from the rental office to get in the apartment.

Good Location for short stay

It was good for a short stay, but the kitchenette, was really a wet bar SMALL refrig, sink and one plug where you had to choose to use either toaster oven or coffee pot not room for both on counter at same time and access to oven. The "House" as it was advertised was an apartment from lower level of the house with possible renting of full house. The guest upstairs in the later part of our vacation had a dog, which is allowed, but their dog barked and howled every time they left, so no quietness for us. This should be a consideration by the rental company when 2 separate parties are renting the property. Couches are very close to needing replacement!

The heavy old entry door, cute front steps, the comfy four poster bed, fireplaces, the pedestal sink, mosaic tile, and sunny window in the bathroom, and the wonderful ivy covered private courtyard all charmed me. We left our car in the parking space behind the building and walked all over the historic district easily (we bought passes for the hop on-hop off trolly.) We had no noise issues at all. Check in was very easy and I really liked having a coded door rather than a key. We loved all the little squares, enjoyed the historic ice cream shop nearby and had breakfast at Two Cracked Eggs. Captain Derrick's Dolphin Tour was fantastic. It's a beautiful city, the weather was perfect, and we highly recommend this bnb.

Great location but...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is is an excellent location, very accessible, easy walk to everything in the historic district. A couple of warnings... there’s a unit upstairs which takes pets, but you may end up listening to a dog cry for hours when their owners go out. The listening is easy because the walls are paper thin and you hear everything your neighbors say, and vice-versa. A few maintenance items: the toilet seat needs to be tightened, the coffee pot is so low end it doesn’t have an auto shutoff, the light switch in the bedroom is a dimmer and needs replacing as it causes the overhead light to flicker and the sill of the back door could use some attention. All very minor, overall the place is in great shape though personally we’d prefer a sofa and two chairs rather than two sofas. And if there are upstairs guests get to the shower early or run the risk of no hot water.Pretty picky, I know. I would definitely stay there again which is the main thing.
