Gordon's Beachfront Condo

Gordon's Beachfront Condo is located in the Fisherman’s Complex. This One Bedroom Condo, located on the Eastern side of the condominium complex with sea views out to Ocho Rios Private Beach. It’s a great place for everyone, as accommodations are spacious, and cooks and babysitters can be hired for a fee.

This condo features an air-conditioned bedroom with bathroom en-suite, a living and dining room, patio opening out to the central area of the v-shaped complex, seaside patio, and a well-equipped kitchenette.
The accommodation is yours exclusively for the duration of your stay. No one else shares any part of the accommodation with you.

You can arrange with a tour company at the airport for transportation to Ocho Rios.
To get around locally, you can arrange that with the tour assistance at the front desk or take public transportation. There is a luxurious coach service called Knutsford Express whose offices are located opposite the condo complex. You can book island wide services through them or at the front desk. Everything is within walking distance from the condo.

Our condo is managed by our on-site property manager and her team at the complex. Anything you need, they'll be happy to accommodate you. We will be in touch within 24 hours of check-in. However, if there is anything else we can assist you with, you can always reach us by phone or email.

I would absolutely stay at Gordon’s again! This trip to Jamaica was, by far, THE BEST vacation in my books! The condo was perfect, communication with the host was super easy and very responsive, the condo and the property were clean, the condo was gated with security 24/7 so super safe, the staff were all very friendly, it was walking distance to lots of places to visit! We will definitely try to stay at Gordon’s for our future Jamaican vacations! Thanks David for a great place to stay!!!

Great condo, great location

I stayed at the condo for 3 nights and had a great time. The condo is in close proximity to restaurants and the beach. There is security. Very convenient and well kept condo. The owner was responsive with any questions I had and actively communicated with me throughout my stay. I am going back in a few months and will be staying here again.

Great Condo

I stayed at the condo for four nights and had a great stay. The condo is convenient as it is located near the beach, and restaurants. Check in is smooth. Condo is clean and comfortable. This is my second time staying at this condo, and am happy with the space. Owner is responsive prior, during and after your stay to help with any questions you may have.

My stay in Jamaica

The place was just as advertised. It was easy to access, very clean, nice working AC, all amenities worked great, and close to everything you need. The beach and MargaritaVille is just a few minutes walk; extremely close. The people in the front office was very nice and helpful. The property has 24hr security, which was a plus for me. David (owner) was excellent with communicating and answering any questions I may have had. I definitely look forward to staying at David's place again in the near future.

Great Visit on Short Notice

My wife and I were scheduled to be at the Moon Palace until finding out the all inclusive was $11k. We were able to book Dave's condo with only a few days notice. He responded within a few hours with everything we needed for our stay. He was responsive during the week as well, answering all our questions within a few hours. The condo fit our needs as we're usually out exploring. It was comfortable and worth the price point. Would recommend for any couple.

Gordon's Beach Front condo

I rented this property then thought that i wouldn't be able to make it out for the stay. I contacted David who understood and we had a brief conversation. I later found out that i would in fact be able to make the trip and reached back out to David who again was very understanding and reconfirmed my booking. I rented the property for my mother, she loved it. The property is close to anything you may need and there's a great nightlife scene around. The locals were kind and really looked out for my mom. I would definitely book again.

Was disappointed that I paid so much for housekeeping/ cleaning and no one showed up for cleaning for the entire duration of our stay, plus for had to take our trash.

Piece of paradise

The property was exactly as described and pictured. Clean. Comfortable. Cold air conditoning (although we barely used it) and nice hot shower. Check in was easy. Everyone in the complex so friendly and helpful. PERFECT LOCATION. Close enough to the action yet quiet and relaxing. We walked to mostly everything, and walked the beach daily. For excursions we met a fantastic driver, Chris from ChrisJamaica tours. Thank you David (the host was awesome for keeping in touch). Definitely recommend this little piece of paradise. 💕

The owner was very responsive, and very easy to work with. The unit was clean and well maintained. 2 major issues: 1. The property staff is not very helpful 2. The unit has a queen bed in the bedroom and a daybed in the livingroom. The sleeping arrangements were not at all comfortable for a family of 4. We made it work and the location was great.

A Hidden Gem

I thoroughly enjoyed my peaceful stay at Gordon's Beachfront condo. If your goal is to relax, restore & refresh in a place that's safe, secure, ultra clean, fully-equipped with great amenities, strong secure internet (which was a must have for my wor-kation), that's beautifully renovated & decorated, centrally located near shops, delicious authentic local food, a nice beach in walking distance, then this is an ideal spot. David and StacyAnn were fabulous hosts. They were in contact with me via email throughout my stay, suggested excursions & restaurants to check out in the area and when asked, offered a contact number in the event I needed transportation to and from the airport. They really know how to take care of you. The property staff, Andre, was very helpful and informative and the housekeeper, Ms. Dimms, made my stay extra special. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

An amazing experience

Check- in was quick. Access to the property was easy and as described. The host reached out to make sure that I had no problems accessing the property but I just followed all the instructions which was very clear. My favourite part of the property was the amazing view of the sea from the back door and the location to the local amenities. The staff and the locals were very warm and welcoming and were very happy to assist in whatever you may require.There was never a dull moment in the area and even though there is a 24hr club in close proximity to the condo, the music can only be heard from the outside, so you still get a good night's sleep. The area is very safe and the local vendors were very respectful. This will definitely be my annual home away from home. Thank you Gordon.

Mixed results

We arrived in Ocho Rios and our driver "Anthony" picked us up and was nice enough to take us to the grocery store. We then arrived at Fishermans Point, not " David Gordon's tropical Paridise" as it was listed. After a very long wait in the lobby without anyone able to tell us why, we finally were told that our condo which we had reserved 4 months earlier was occupied by another guest. They placed us in another rather substandard room and were told they would try to get us into our condo the next day. The next afternoon we did move. The condo was adequate, the bed comfortable. It's a bit run down and could use some repair: hole in the bathroom wall, cold water handle in the shower missing, curtains ripped and faded out. The floors throughout could use a good scrubbing. The condo was convenient to beaches and activities. The Indian restaurant was excellent. Coconuts as advertised did not seem to exist. Edits restaurant is a must.

1st time to Jamaica - I had no idea 😥

I booked and paid in full my vacation/room 2 months ahead of time. When we arrived, the lady at the checkin wanted me to pay again (Luckily, I saved my payment details). They showed us to our room, which was not the room I booked. She literally said, they'd hope I wouldn't notice. But see, the room I booked was because it was on the 1st floor, the bedroom had doors that opened with a view of the ocean. They put me in a room on the 3rd room and let me know the people in the room I booked and paid for 2 months ago, decided to extend their stay!!! WHAT.!! That should not have been allowed. The temporary room they put us in, 3rd floor(lots of stairs), bugs in the kitchen, barely any air conditioner and no bedding. They asked us the next day to stay in our room and they'd come get us to move us to the room I had booked once it was ready. So we cancelled our plans for that day and waited in our room. We finally did get to the room I booked that next day, it was beautiful. The rest of our stay was great. I just had no idea the room I booked and paid for could be given away!! So please know this is possible at this location. I was not reimbursed for the 1st night, not even for the difference in what would clearly be a downgrade and actually felt like I was the one bothering them. I even let the owner know how beautiful his location was when I booked and that view was why I selected his place. So people, please know, just because you search and find the perfect location, you pay for it... when you arrive, you may have to stay somewhere you would have NEVER selected and no one cares!!!!!!

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. I had travelled to Jamacia to visit friends so staying somewhere off an all inclusive resort was my only option to have people come and visit me where I was staying. The complex the apartment is in has the friendliest people working everyday such as on the gate, gardeners, maids. This makes the complex very clean and tidy. There is also a convenience shop in the grounds. As a single traveller I never once felt unsafe and was extremely happy where I was staying. The apartment itself is in a great location walking distance from shops, restaurants and the most beautiful beach. David was always quick to answer any questions I had and was willing to offer information on local restaurants etc to make my stay even more enjoyable. I will certainly be returning.

Perfect Vacation!

This was our first time going to Jamaica, and it couldn't have been more perfect! David helped us with a driver (Courtney) from and to the airport, which was a huge relief. The apartment was very clean and tidy with maid service daily! We loved the pool! Just a few steps out our door. Our favorite was the location of the apartment. We were surrounded by everything we wanted to see and it was all within walking distance (other than the excursions/tours of course). Everything was so close to us so we weren't having to constantly pay for a driver. We loved our stay and want to come back soon! We are very thankful! :)

The staff at front gate and front office and maids and grounds keeping are amazing. So friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and efficient but there were no beach towels or frills to be had. Remember to pack a towel or so when there. They do supply bath towels.

Best Vacation Ever

My sister and I had the best vacation ever. We stayed at Apartment #8 and the condo was beautiful and well kept. The beautiful beach was right in our backyard and we also had access to the pool which was nice and clean.The staff treated us like royalty, Ms. Thompson was such a sweet lady and Andre was such a gentleman. The condo was well equipped with everything for our day to day needs. I definitely will recommend apartment #8 to all my family and friends and I can't wait to return. David was such a lovely host, he gave me a run down of all the places I could go to enjoy my stay in Cho Rios. I love love love this place

Great value and location

This little condo is in a great location. It's super walk-able to get to shops and restaurants, to groceries and markets, to the beach, and to a myriad of activities. The daily housekeeper was a very nice plus. The patio was a nice place to listen to the waves. The pool was lovely and clean. The condo had everything we needed. We went during New Year's, so we cannot speak to other times of the year, but Jamaican's like to party. This condo being so accessible to all, it was practically in the middle of the party. This was a good thing in that it added to the experience and to the festive vibe. We really felt a part of the community. However, if you're a light sleeper, the parties will run all night, and it is not quiet. Most condos built in tropical areas are built from concrete and this is not the most insulative sound material. David was a gracious host. He answered questions quickly and was quick to return our damage deposit. Tourwise was located in the lobby and was extremely helpful in booking our outings and transportation for us. We had a great trip. Jamaicans are all warm hearted and lovely. We never felt we or our belongings were unsafe at any moment. In fact, we got the impression that the locals look after the tourists knowing that tourism provides so much to the Ocho Rios economy. We look forward to a return trip soon.
