This single story 5 bedroom home is the most notable home in the historical Colee Hammock area of Ft. Lauderdale. The 2 Common areas provide plenty of space for any group. There is adequate sleeping space… 3 Queen beds, 4 twin beds, 1 full bed, and 1 pull out sofa ensures that everyone in your group sleeps comfortably. Barbeque on the deck and eat under the covered porch. Walk out your bedroom door to the sun deck and Private Heated pool. The home is just steps from the world famous Las Olas Blvd, home to all the local shops, restaurants, and hot spots. You will be located right in the center of it all. The home has a beautiful backyard with pool and very large deck area which are the focal point of the house. We also have a six seater street legal golf cart rental option with sound system. The coolest way to cruise up and down Las Olas blvd and A1A beach Blvd. if your decide to reserve one with your reservation it will be charged, delivered and ready for you upon arrival.

Fun Trip, Great Spot!

Stayed here with some buddies for a bachelor party. Close to Los Olas and plenty of food options. The host was great with communication and was flexible when we arrived a few hours earlier than anticipated.

Entire process was great: communication with host, instructions for check in and check out, and any issues that arose. The location was wonderful and we could Park two vehicles!! Our group spent most of our time at the property on the decks and in the pool. With 8 kids, the washer and dryers were a total blessing. We would definitely stay again if we come back!

This property was perfect for the group of 11 we had for a bachelor party. Everyone was able to have a bed and there was plenty of space in the common areas. The pool/backyard and location are the best features, we were within walking distance or a quick Uber ride to Las Olas and the beach.

The backyard is incredible

10 of us stayed here for a friends celebration and had a great time. The backyard is beautiful and the pool was amazing! The owners were super responsive and met all of our needs. Just a note the kitchen is pretty small - we only cooked breakfast so it was totally fine. Would recommend.

Perfect house in a great location

My family stayed at this house for a week. We had 9 adults and 4 kids, and the house was very comfortable for all. We loved the pool and the location was great. The owner was great to work with. The house was very equipped with everything you would need.

Mom's 93rd Birthday Weekend

Perfect rental for my family who came down for my Mom's birthday. Our host was very accommodating & check in was a breeze. We were met at the house & given the tour. The rooms were perfect for adults & kids. Once they got the wifi codes they were into their games!!! The patio was a great gathering place in the evening & the pool was definitely a hit!! We will definitely rent again!!!

Bachelor party

There were 8 of us that stayed at the property for a bachelor party and we had a great time. The back yard was a perfect little oasis for hanging out by the pool. It was in a prime location to get downtown, but also a short drive to the golf courses and the harbor. The property managers were very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend the place for anyone looking to get away.

Wonderful Home in the Heart of Ft. Lauderdale

My family and I stayed in this home for what was a very enjoyable stay in a terrific location. The backyard was superb with a nice pool and an open layout to lounge with you family or friends. The beach was only one mile away and you are within walking distance to Las Olas Blvd. and all of its wonderful restaurants and shops. Bill, the owner was very welcoming and at our attention for our questions, etc. I would definitely stay again!

We came, we saw, we Las Olas’d.Stayed here for my brother’s bachelor party and this house was everything we needed and more. The pool was basically our headquarters—daytime chill spot, nighttime aquatic dance floor, and one brave soul’s failed attempt at synchronized swimming.The location? Unreal. A quick stumble (I mean walk) to Las Olas, where the drinks were strong, the food was clutch, and the memories are mostly fuzzy. We were minutes from the beach too, which made it easy to pretend we were doing something wholesome between parties.The house was super clean, beds were comfy, and it had enough space for our squad to spread out, recover, and roast each other in style.If you’re looking for a quiet spiritual retreat, maybe look elsewhere. But if you want a place that can handle a legendary bachelor weekend, this is it.10/10—would bachelor party again (but maybe after a nap).

This house was a pleasure to stay at. Everything you need is right there from the inside of the house to the outside. We were a family of 12 people staying there and the house was very comfortable providing enough room for all of us. Las Olas was a walk away to some great restaurants and shopping. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and very accommodating. I would certainly recommend this home to anyone (as a matter of fact I already did) and would consider staying there again. Thank you Bill for a great family memory.

Remembering the cold winters and dreery fall while growing up in St. Louis, Missouri helps Bill appreciate the wonderful, warm climate and the beautiful tropical gardens that surround this property. After graduating from West Point, Bill proudly served his country for 21 years in the U. S. Army. Bill was an infantry officer in Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault units. One of the highlights of his career was obtaining his masters degree from the University of Georgia in 1981 (that was when the Bulldogs won the National Football Championship) and following up with a 4 year tour teaching cadets at West Point. After retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel from the Army; Bill and and his wife, Carolyn, started a small business in Georgia and eventually moved it to South Florida. Bill's wife, Carolyn, graduated from the University of Georgia and became a teacher. Carolyn is a teacher, author of 2 books, mother of 5 grown children and grandmother for 7 precious grand daughters. Grandson #1 is due on April 6, 2015. Grand child #9 arrives in September 2015. Carolyn loves decorating as you will see the second you walk into our home. She also loves opening up our home for others to enjoy as much as we enjoy it.

Location, Location, Location is everything!!! Although you are hidden in the dense tropical gardens of the historical Colee Hammock area, if you walk out the back gate of the property, you are on Las Olas Blvd. only 2 blocks from the exciting eateries, clubs, and shoppes that make this area famous. As exciting as the location is, you will have trouble pulling yourself away from the sun deck, swimming pool and privacy of your own backyard. When every guest walks in the front door, I want them to feel the warmth, and comfort of being in a home from yester-year. The white picket fence, the huge shade trees and tropical gardens, the smell of burning logs in the fireplace, and the creaking of the front porch swing, all add to the house's charm and feeling of southern hospitality. The cozy feeling that our home gives us is what we want to share with every guest. Come. Relax. Enjoy. And leave refreshed and wanting to come 'home' again on your next trip to south Florida.
