IDEAL LOCATION @ THE NARROWS ON SOUTH LAKE LEELANAU W/DOCK. Perfect Sunsets

NEWLY UPDATED: EXCEPTIONAL WATERFRONT WITH DOCK, tucked away deep in the pines with 325 FEET of lake access perfect for your family getaway or gathering.
One bedroom inside the main home, 1 and a half bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. Separate house for the kids or in laws, doesn't have a bathroom, has bunk beds and a trundle bed. A pull out sofa also located in the main house making it comfortable for 8 people preferably a family, please speak with manager concerning rules for 6/8 adults only.
Feel free to bring a tent for the kids as the property is perfect for outdoor sleeping. This lake home is a perfect location just south of the narrows.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
With the home being newly remodeled we ask that guests report any damage right away to property manager.
Always put umbrella down when leaving property. Lake winds can pick up quickly and causes replacement costs. Please clean grill after each use to avoid critters coming in for leftovers.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Our first family trip to Michigan

Our stay was short, but made lots of great memories of our time spent at Lake Leelanau. The cottage was cozy and in a great location for fishing, boating and family activities like visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes!

Traditional Lake Cottage

Great property that had everything needed for a Leelanau Peninsula week including a dock close to the narrows boat launch for our boat! Cottage was clean and comfortable with a large yard for games and lake time.

Wonderful location and so much to do!

Really spacious lake house with updated bathrooms and great views of the lake. Our two teens enjoyed swimming, kayaking, SUP, and fishing here. And they liked using the separate bunk house for themselves. Great patio for dinner, drinks, cards, or just relaxing.

My husband and I celebrated 30 yr anniversary at this adorable cottage- no kids this trip but they would have loved it!! We had everything we needed- we rented and learned how to paddle board! Would stay again!

We loved it!!

We were coming to town for a family wedding and needed a place nearby to stay, what a gem we found!! It is secluded but still close enough to walk or paddle into the downtown area to get a drink or dinner. It was so relaxing & peaceful! The home was very clean and up to date. We look forward to visiting again!!

The home is clean, spacious and suited our purposes perfectly. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s right on the lake with tons of lake frontage. We rented a boat the entire time we stayed and the dock was great. Waking up to a view of the lake each morning was a treat.

The entire experience was excellent. You're close to everything but far enough away. The water is clear and beautiful and the property was well maintained. The bunk house was excellent for the kids. There is an excellent golf course a few minutes away, a national park and a super convenient grocery store. I definitely recommend this place and I will stay there again.

Quick lake getaway

My husband and I took our mother and infant son with us for a weekend up north. Louann communicated ahead of time that some updates were in the process of being made and we were able to check in a little early. Location was great to everything Leland has to offer, other quaint towns are a quick car ride away. Definitely would stay here again if I had a smaller group as described above.

Beautiful setting.

Lake setting and proximity to all things is excellent. Initial hiccup was dealt with swiftly by manager. Cleanliness is lacking. Needs a good, deep cleaning throughout. Still would recommend. The lake is stunning.

The outdoors were great right on the lake, good location. House inside too rustic.

Enjoyed the location and that was all. The house needs a lot of work, no good windows looking at the lake. Not worth the money.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL VIEW and PROPERTY

My wife and I wanted a perfect getaway for our adult son and his beautiful wife and WE got it! This home and property on Lake Leelanau is stunning! The water views, sunrises, sunsets, the totally private large yard, beach, swimming, camp fire right by the water, the boat dock and all the many amenities were amazing! ! ! In addition, we were pleasantly surprised at the 2 bathrooms and the actual “living space size. It meant the world to us to spend quality bonding time with our family and it was wonderful! Fun Lakeside Getaway!

We enjoyed our time at the cozy cottage. Much time was spent on the water fishing, kayaking, and SUP. The house also comes with a canoe that we occasionally used to visit Boathouse Vineyards. We have two teenage boys who enjoyed their privacy in the bunk house. The home was spotless and the cabinets well-stocked. At night we stargazed at the waterfront fire pit. The property is large, walking distance to the Narrows and a short drive to Leland and Suttons Bay. The property manager was great to work with - we communicated with her in the weeks leading up to our trip, and she checked in with quick messages during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
