About this property
Aspen Cabin: Dog-friendly cabin with hot tub and breakfast delivered daily!
The Aspen Cabin is a dog-friendly cabin with a kitchenette, 2 BR (one queen and bunk beds), and sleeps 3 comfortably.
The Mill Creek Cabins experience is quite unique and special. As you arrive, you'll pass wineries, the beautiful Finger Lakes (either Seneca or Cayuga), Amish buggies, and finally you'll find the Cabins among the Finger Lakes National Forest. Check-in is a breeze, and you'll notice that you are one of only three groups who are enjoying the property. You'll start your evening by grilling up some burgers and enjoying the porch. You might take a dip in the hot tub before settling in by the fire pit. Plenty of firewood and charcoal are available for purchase.
When you wake up the next morning, Mary from Taste of Wine Country Cafe will deliver your breakfast. Not a morning person? She'll drop the order on your front porch and you can get it when you roll out of bed. Coffee maker comes with coffee, creamer and sugar. If you are a morning person, maybe you'll enjoy a hike! There's a one mile path around the perimeter of the 40 acre property.
There's so much to do in the Finger Lakes during the day. Lodi is located between Seneca and Cayuga lakes. Mill Creeks Cabins is surrounded by the Finger Lakes National Forest. While it feels completely remote, the beginning of the Seneca Wine trail is less than 5 miles (9 minutes) away. When you get back, you might take advantage of the yard games like volleyball, yard darts, bocce ball, and croquet. After all that activity, you'll probably want to settle in with a movie - each cabin has access to Netflix, Hulu and Disney +, and you can sign into any of your own systems. Or, go a little retro and watch a DVD!
Amenities: -Hot breakfast delivered between 8-9 am each morning -Dog-friendly (all well-behaved dogs welcome) -Kitchenette -Fire pit (firewood available for purchase on-site, self pickup) -Charcoal Grill (charcoal available for purchase on-site, self pickup) -Hot Tub (private, outdoor, open year round) -Coffee bar, with coffee, cream and sugar provided -Onsite one mile walking trail through the back 40 acres (avoid during hunting season please, Nov-Mar)
* We charge a cleaning fee. This fee offsets our costs for turning over the cabin and the hot tub in between stays. We do not enter the cabin once you have checked in (unless there is an emergency or you ask us to). * Charging this fee allows us to be flexible in stay length. Having a one-time fee incentivizes longer stays, and makes a one-night stay worth the extra effort! * We are CHORE-FREE! No chore list upon checkout. You do not have to vacuum, do laundry, or strip the beds. We provide light cleaning materials in case there's a spill.

Beautiful location away from the crowds. Star gazing was amazing. So peaceful and great walking right out the back of the property. Very dog friendly!!
This property was very clean. Robes and sandals were provided for hot tub use, a nice added feature. There was a tv with Hulu and other streaming services. Also very nice. Beds were medium firmness. They were comfortable. This cabin was very cozy. Breakfast was good and well balanced.
Overall cute little cabin. A little dusty, toilet a little wobbly, linens a little scratchy. But it’s a cabin, not the Hilton. It’s cute and cozy. Breakfast was a nice touch. Great communication from the host.
Was very comforting and clean. Really gave a true “living in the country” cabin experience and was very relaxing and perfectly sized for us and what we needed. Dog was satisfied and having a line at the property to let him out really helped. Thank you till next time.
Got great communication prior to arrival. Asst. Mgr, Carissa, showed up with a welcome package and contact info. She was great with all questions. We did have a hot water issue, but Asst. Mgr. got right on it & had us back up & running in a very timely manner.4 stars because nobody gets a 5. Would give 4 1/2 if that were an option. My wife & I had our two dogs (a Toller & a Malinois) & decided it my be a bit cramped if it were 4 people there. But then, we do pack anything we feel we'll need that we don't see listed in the ad.Easy to get to from main highway.Breakfast every morning was GREAT!The only reason I gave 4 on cleanliness is that the shower curtain could stand to be 2 - 3 inches wider, to keep water from spraying out onto the bathroom floor.
This cabin is so cute and so cozy! My friend and I stayed here for a weekend to just get some alone time without kids and it was perfect for that. We specifically chose this place because of the breakfast being delivered in the morning and because of the hot tub. However, the cabin was extremely dirty. Cobwebs & dust everywhere. And not just a little dust, it hasnt been dusted or deeply cleaned on a long tjme. The bathroom was very dirty. I know they have hard water, which can leave stains in the toilets, but those stains dont stay if its cleaned properly, as i have hard water at my own home. There appears to be what looks like poop splatter next to the toilet on the wall. I gave 3 stars because cleanliness is a huge thing for me. There are multiple other reviews stating that there's a few cobwebs here and there, but its clear that those same cobwebs are just getting bigger and bigger because this place is filled with that and dust! Ik its a cabin in the woods, but that doesn't define how clean you should keep a place. The hot tub smells TERRIBLE! Like pond water. You can tell its not emptied and cleaned regularly and the water has a greenish/tan color to it. My bathing suit still smells like the water. The place has the potential to be extremely cute and a perfect, quiet, relaxing get away. And i would have loved to return but due to the cleanliness, we will not be returning.
We had a great 2 day stay with 3 adults and our 2 goldens! The cabin was described accurately and had all the necessities we needed! Hot tub was great! Perfect location between Seneca and Cayuga lake for wine tasting. Breakfast delivered in the morning was a great touch! Hot and delicious!
The only suggestion I have is to update the furniture inside. Couch was not very comfortable to sit and watch tv. Other than that, we had a great time!
Everything has been thought of for you! My partner and I have stayed at many places with kitchenettes and there is typically always something missing - so we always come prepared. But this cabin had things like dish soap, a new sponge, matches and tender for the grill/firepit outside along with many other details all taken care of!
The property had its own set of walking trails and despite nearby hiking trails being quite muddy the ones on property were not!
The property manager replied promptly to all queries and our stay was perfect!
A great experience all around. Very clean cabin with everything you need. Hot tub is a plus. Fire pit is a nice touch with wood for sale on site. And they have someone to provide breakfast every morning which was incredible with a nice variety. We’ll be back many times
This cabin is so inviting and secluded!
We had a bit of a hiccup during our stay and the owner went WAY above and beyond to ensure our anniversary stay was amazing!
