It was cozy and comfortable and it was just what we needed as a family for the weekend while we were attending a Provincial competition. We want to return and just enjoy it on vacation. The views are spectacular and the the location is perfect.
I stayed at Rustic Harbour House in early May. The home was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable (always important), and was steps from PEI National Park and the beach. I enjoyed daily walks along the shore and the park's multi-use path. The house is 30 minutes from Charlottetown Airport and about ten minutes from Green Gables. There is a grocery store, liquor store, multiple restaurants, an ice cream shop, and in-season tourist shopping - all within walking distance. The house is also on the trail of The Island Walk.I hope to return and would strongly recommend this home.
This was the perfect location for our stay. Close to bike rental, kayaking, walking path, great restaurants and centrally located to within 30 minutes to all we wanted to visit. A home away from home with super hosts who came by to make sure everything was perfect
We loved our stay in North Rustico. It was seamless and we had everything we needed. The location was fantastic and Cathy was generous and accommodating for our family. Wonderful cottage stay!

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was exactly as advertised. Cathy was a great host. Would absolutely stay there again.
The property is very well stocked, with access to just about anything you can think of. The location is wonderful, and the correspondence with the owner has been quick and helpful. Thanks for making this part of a memorable stay on PEI
We are home now after a week’s stay at this cozy and tidy home. The views were marvelous as was walking the boardwalk across the street for exercise and meeting friendly folks along the way. Everything was at our fingertips when preparing meals. Wonderful memories were made and we will highly recommend it to all.Thank you, Cathy!!
A very tidy, well presented, comfortable house perfect for a weeks stay. Walking from the door includes a round circuit of 5 k, access on foot /bike to the national park at the bottom of the hill, a bistro bookshop. grocery store, ice cream parlour and some restaurants. 30 mins from Charlotte town and an excellent base for exploring the whole Isand. even North Cape is under 2 hours away. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming and solved an issue with tripped switch really quickly. A lot of places locally were closed as we were a week ahead of most opening times however, the up side was that we virtually had most places of beauty for walking to ourselves. Thinking about families staying here they have even provided a handy trolly to pull everything to the beach ( 15 min walk) and outdoor cushions. we saw Sea eagles fishing from our front deck and as we are early risers watched the fleet come and go. The Dunes Gallery near Brackley has a cafe in season, and local Village eatery Pedros is simply SUPERB! So glad we booked this lovely house
Thank you Cathy and Leslie for another lovely vacation in North Rustico. Lots of walks on the boardwalk, fresh fish every day from the fish market, and pastries galore from the bakery. Also thanks for ALL your help with our check out.
Everything just clicked. Fabulous location and the house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - the photos don't do it justice. Location is great, a short walk to shops & restaurants. Comms with the owner was easy - would thoroughly recommend.
My sister and I loved every second of our stay at this lovely cottage. We ate our meals out on the deck watching the boats in the harbour and the peaceful water view. The cottage is central to everything we wanted to do and it was lovely to stroll down into the town to the bakery and grocery store. Such a lovely spot! Cannot wait to return next year!
The cottage has a lovely outlook over the harbour, and is a short walking distance along the boardwalk to all the local restaurants (and the theatre, beach etc.). The hosts are very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We hope to go back, which says it all, really.
Great location across street from boardwalk and view of No Rustico Harbor, great for walks and exploring including town and direct access to beach area.Cottage very comfortable with a coastal theme.
The only issue we had was with slightly malfunctioning plumbing, including toilet, shower and kitchen sink.Owner responded but issues weren’t completely resolved but they are very nice and would certainly rent from them again!
Perfect way to discover and get a good feel of PEI
We loved our stay in North Rustico. The house is a short drive to Cavendish, PEI National Park and only 30 minutes to Charletown. The boardwalk in front of the house is awesome. The boardwalk takes you to the Wharf, restaurants, the beach and more. The house is in a perfect location for a true PEI experience. From eating mussels/lobster to deep sea fishing. The house was perfect for our little family and well equipped with everything needed. Our host was awesome. Thank you again. You made our first experience in PEI a memorable one.
So disappointed that due to the extensive damage to PEI by Hurricane Fiona we were unable to make it to Cathy's lovely property in North Rustico. Was glad to hear from Cathy that they suffered no damage and hopefully all of PEI will recover in the near future. Cathy communicated regularly during this difficult time and was very responsive to our concerns. When it became apparent access to the island was limited, she didn't hesitate to issue a refund for our stay. Our hearts go out to all on Prince Edward Island. Please note, I was unable to submit my review unless I indicated ratings - obviously since I never stayed, my ratings are based solely on the listing information.
We loved Harbour House as it felt just like home. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, windows all around to soak in the top notch harbor views, well stocked with kitchen and dining needs, and located a 5-10 minute walk along the harbor to restaurants, fish market, grocery store, bakery and other assorted businesses in the village. We easily explored PEI as all was within a 1.5 hour drive from Harbour House. It's not modern flashy, but fits perfectly like your favorite pair of shoes. We were sorry to leave and would love to return!
The Harbour House is a real home away from home! We especially loved hanging out on “The Porch” - the deck - every day (many times during the day 😎). I think we ate every meal and snack out there (breakfast included)!! The location was perfect for us. Very relaxing. The boardwalk was just across the street and we were in walking distance to the beach, a bakery and a number of spots to eat. Big thank you to Cathy and Les for making us feel welcome and being only a text away when we had a question. We’re hoping to stay again in the future!
Merci
